All around great dining experience!! Small neighborhood feel with creative and innovative dishes.

Unfortunately, the dining room is closing for an undetermined time. I love the food, cocktails, ambience, etc. and will miss this gem until management feels safe to reopen.

Creative menu, friendly staff, intimate environment, great experience!

For a slow night, the entrees took a very long time to arrive at our table. In addition, both Petit Filet's were served cold.

Speaking of cold, it was uncomfortably cool in the restaurant.

Based on previous visits, this was not a good experience.

100 best restaurant in Richmond. Quiet, nice lighting, great staff, great food, great drinks. Always bring my guest who are visiting here.

Great food as always

Small portions for a very high price. Food was fine but not good enough to ever return.

Just had cocktails and an appetizer. Chicken wings were cooked perfectly. Nice and crispy. We tried 3 different cocktails. All were excellent. Like the coziness of the decor and look forward to another visit.

I booked for the main restaurant but when I got there was sat in the back corner of the market where staff kept going in and out of a storage closet a few feet from my table. They were out of fried chicken(one reason we came on Sunday) , the food took a very long time, they ask you wear a mask every time a server is at your table which results in up and down constantly. Staff has never been warm and friendly on any visit . This may be my last . Lots of other great places in Richmond that are much more enjoyable .

Saison is one of my favorite spots in town. Great food, amazing service and a stunning ambience. Both the server and bartender treated us like queens. Love this place!

Absolutely awesome food with unique flavorings. Waitress was fabulous I will go back there in a heartbeat.

Great food and a very cozy environment. The chicken was one of the best dishes that I have had all year.

The seafood run down, seafood in a coconut broth, was delicious, as was the red sparking wine and both desserts. We ate outside and the street is noisy and not particularly interesting, which is not the restaurant's fault. Definitely put this at the top of our list.

I continue to love this place! People talk a lot about the cocktails which are fantastic but I find the food equally fantastic. Very surprised they don’t get more pressed for their food.

Ask for recommendations for anything! The servers and bartenders have great advice!

The menu is limited. The salad desert and drinks were good, but the Sunday fried chicken special was overwhelmingly salty. Hopefully, that was inadvertent. We will not be back.

We hadn’t dined here in quite a while, and the food/drinks are better than ever. The homemade ingredients mix up a for a great cocktail, and the food was excellent. Smart and friendly staff are practicing safe procedures, much appreciated.

It was great! It’s nice to go out to dinner again. My dates chicken entree was taster than my seafood entree(might have been better with the bread but I can’t do gluten) Both were delicious but if I had order again I would order the chicken. The Cocktails were outstanding.

Food was outstanding especially the Peruvian chicken, wedge salad and dessert. Staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful.

Fantastic food, drinks and service. Eclectic menu with accessible favorites. The cocktail menu and bartender reflect deep skill and the French fries...damn. I have never eaten a French fry and thought “Now that’s a good fry!” Until here.

I brought my daughter and her friend for a last minute overnight virtual VCU campus visit and were able to book a table but I was worried, not knowing if two 17 girls would enjoy the few selections. They loved it! Although, the menu was limited it had a choice for all tastes.

Such great vibes and even better food! While we were there the staff held a toast to an employee that was leaving after a number of years. It was so fun to be apart of the celebration!

Oxtail appetizers were amazing. Fries was amazing. Peruvian chicken was very good, the portion was huge! My wife loved her cocktail. My root beer was good.

An amazing dining experience. The presentation and taste could not be surpassed. The chicken wings are far superior to any I’ve ever had. We had several other small plates all met and exceeded every Expectation!! For dinner we had the smash burger, rice bowl and Peruvian chicken and finished off with desserts which were also quite delicious. Would highly recommend Saison for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

Patio seating turned out to be "sidewalk seating" and literally...on the sidewalk....so be prepared. Cars going by, people walking their dogs, etc. Luckily- it was a nice night out and food was delicious! Great cocktails and our wait staff was wonderful- a lovely young lady....whose name escapes me....

My husband and I were thrilled when one of our very favorite spots, Saison, reopened with reservable outdoor seating! The cocktails, food, and service were amazing, as always, and we enjoyed the novelty of sitting outside on the sidewalk, watching the world go by. Thank you, Saison!

I know things are crazy these days but Justin and the Saison team took extremely good care of us and reminded us what it means to have a meal with friends cooked by the pros.

Saison has some of the best food and cocktails in Richmond. Hands down

They had a really outstanding menu despite the Covid outbreak. Fresh tomato salad was like being run over by a truck load of vine ripened tomatoes. Some of the most vivid tomatoes I’ve ever had. Mixed with powerful and fresh spices, some of which I could not identify. Hanger steak and grilled string beans were works of art. Perfectly blended flavors and textures. The sauce was indescribable, hints of peanuts. Net impression: magnificent!
