Incredibly polite and courteous staff and beautiful food.

Had a lovely meal, it's very nice and clean comfortable, we gin and tonic but to much ice made it very watery couldn't taste the gin, the food was excellent, but a little on the expensive side price wise, may come again when I can afford to.

Food excellent unfortunately it was busy due to a table of 6 people having several starters and so it went on with what appeared to be only one young lady serving. The phone rang constantly for take away orders . Could not fault the food .

Pleasant friendly waitress, excellent food as always. Could not find any fault. Would go again and again!

I went with my boyfriend and we got the spicy set menu (£22 I think). The food was delicious and there was more than we could manage to eat. Really good, authentic food and lovely staff. I would 100% recommend

This is the best Thai restaurant in Bournemouth. Food is freshly cooked and really delicious, first time when I’ve been to Sala Thai the quality of food, taste and service blowed me away. Highly recommend to everyone.

This was the first time at Sala Thai. Had heard that the food was really good so had to try. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the food was very authentic. I had the starter platter and green thai chicken curry. Both were very very tasty!. The only thing that I think could be improved on is the lighting and overall atmosphere. The atmosphere felt cold with stark lighting so that would be my only criticism. Overall the meal was delicious, reasonable and would go back.

Went for a special treat with my lady. Enjoyed the selection of food choices was very impressed with the food and speed of service the relaxed atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and relaxed...

Salathai is an excellent and reliable Thai restaurant in a pleasant suburb of Bournemouth about three miles out of the town centre. Authentic and tasty Thai food with pleasant service and reasonable prices. People come to this traditional style restaurant again and again.

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant, the service is always a joy with the waitresses dressed in traditional Thai outfits and always smiling and courteous.
I usually order the non-spicy banquet (minimum 2 people) which is delicious - however I always feel as though the available desserts, especially included with banquet, really let the restaurant down and could/should be changed.

The desserts, which were all variations of cooked banana, were all made with off/bad bananas and were inedible. Despite explaining that the bananas were bad (visibly black/strange texture/bad taste) we were not offered any alternative or recompense - which was a shame and added disappointment to an otherwise lovely evening.

I love going to Sala Thai, in my opinion it’s the best Thai restaurant in Bournemouth. Fantastic Thai cuisine served with classic Thai style in a unique and picturesque restaurant.

Lovely small restaurant run by Thai staff and a Thai chef who has been there for over 20 years. Excellent menu with a selection of buffet options at excellent value. Friendly and efficient staff, excellent food - fresh and flavoursome. We had a buffet which encompassed a selection of starts (around 5 each), 3 main dishes, vegetables and rice and a sweet at £22 each. With a couple of beers and glasses of wine and the bill came in at just under £60. Highly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful meal on our anniversary. The food was fresh, tasty and beautifully cooked with a really comprehensive menu full of authentic Thai flavours. I was particularly pleased that there were several vegetarian options which both tasted and looked great. The service was impeccable, attentive but gave us lots of time and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Will definitely go back again, it’s an ideal place for an intimate meal out.

Good food, staff very attentive and amiable. We were taken to our table and given menus, asked for our order with regard to drinks which came quickly. No one hurried us to order food, we had a very pleasant evening and everyone left happy. Good evening all round.

The food is absolutely superb. The best I have tasted out of thailand. There was a long wait between starter and main course though. Apart from that all good.

This is not our first visit to this restaurant, we have been several times and it is in fact my wife's favourite. Until tonight the service and food has always been very good, however tonight the service let it down.
We arrived on time for our 7pm booking and by about 7:30 we had had our starters, after 45 mins we called the waitress over to inquire about our main course only to be told it would be another 15mins due to a problem in the kitchen. Considering we were one of only two tables occupied this evening it was not acceptable to have waited 1 hour for our main course to arrive.
When the food finally came it was up to its usual high standard, and when challenged about the delay once we had received our bill they did take a main meal off.
Not a good experience to finish my wife's birthday, and it may be a while before we return.
