Gracious, indulgent, Respectful service. Pure food, not overwhelmed by sauces. We'll be going again.
Delicious food! I had a tamarind margarita and enchiladas. I love that they have soy chorizo! I was also able to get 1 green sauce and 1 red sauce enchilada. Soooo good. My husband had a chicken burrito and my son had chicken quesadillas. Both said their food was good.
We were one of 3 tables in the restaurant and service was still very slow. Food was very average- salty and everything loaded with cheese and beans. If you are looking for authentic Mexican this isn’t it.
We love this place! The owner is welcoming, and the enchiladas with ranchera sauce are delicious.
The food here was delicious and very fresh. A great meal for a very reasonable price. Midtown Global market is also fun to see on the way to the restaurant.
Very good food and excellent food
I've eaten at this restaurant at a different location while visiting, and based upon that experience, chose to dine here. I was disappointed. Food was okay, but not as good as expected. 3 small pupusas for an appetizers doesn't impress me. When I thought of going to this restaurant,I was interested in sharing an authentic experience (I'm Hispanic) with my family. However, this just didn't quite do it for us.
Simple, clean taste food. Feels very homey in their approach to food.
Went for my wife’s bday and it was a blast. Portion size is amazing and the tacos are to die for.
Top-knotch service and great Mexican food. Salsa a la Salsa welcomes groups celebrating birthdays. We bring our own cake and they provide the plates, spoons, carving knife and the use of their birthday sombrero, along with playing "Happy Birthday" on the sound system. Makes for a happy celebration.
Great margaritas bring us here, 20 different tequilas to choose from
The dinner combos and/or the alla carte choices are very good, especially enchiladas and tacos. Best green sauce in town
Good value in everything
Great experience for a large group! The restaurant was very welcoming and accommodating for our group of 12. We arrived 20 minutes early and they were ready for us. Margaritas served promptly and everyone enjoyed their meals!
We spent a weekend in the Twin Cities and this was the only meal we had that was hugely disappointing. We chose it based on reviews and were surprised to find it almost empty at a prime dinner hour on a Friday evening. The staff was friendly enough, but the food was not anything special. Both of our meals were cold. Overall, it was disappointing.
The food was so-so, margarita was not good, staff was super nice and attentive, place was clean and nice looking. Good price for what you get.
We went here for my Mom's birthday with a group of 15 (including kids). The food was excellent (including the options for people with a variety of dietary restrictions) and the service was amazing!
Our greeting was warm and welcoming. She accommodated us with the space needed for 10 people. Food tasted fresh with good drink options.
For probably the 6th year in a row, I have brought the keynote speakers for a local conference to Salsa a la Salsa for a mid-conference dinner. They stay at the Sheraton next door, so Salsa is a convenient and delicious choice. We bring 6-8 other people with us and the Salsa staff are always helpful and accommodating of our need for separate checks (expense accounts) and seating for many.
The Jicama Orange salad is great! Added chicken which was well cooked and tasty.
the restaurant provided the perfect ambiance for myself and my date ! quiet but not too quiet ! the service was quick and curteous without "hanging on your elbow"- i'll return again :)

Really good food, plated nicely. Good service, very polite staff.
Overall, good value. However, we were initially pushed away because the host didn't see us on his hand written reservation. Once we reconciled that indeed we were meant to be there, we were seated. Had fine food, amazing Super Premium Margarita's and good service. All for an amazing value!!!
This is a terrific addition to the Midtown Global Market. The food is fresh and delicious. And the staff is very friendly.
I like the casualness and simplicity of this restaurant, with very good service and very good food. The margaritas are excellent and the best part is it is very reasonably priced.
We will be regulars to this place
We would come here more often from work, but the service is so slow. Especially at the end of the meal. It takes forever to get your check
