Seafood trio was excellent and so was the Italian sausage and shrimps pasta! Highly recommended!

This friendly, comfortable restaurant has a variety of dishes and reasonable prices. We'll be back!

Very happy with the food. Customer service was great. Price was a little too much. Our 3 glasses of wine was 2/3 of our bill. Overall happy with the restaurant.

The chicken mushroom melt was amazing. Large portion of well seasoned chicken breast, served with roasted vegetables, and you must try the hand cut fries. Good wine list as well. Lots of local choices.

We were pleasantly surprised to discover this great restaurant. The food was excellent.

We were not uncomfortable, as the restaurant had COVID precautions. The tables were separated by coated cardboard screens, and all employees and diners were wearing masks, except when eating.

Fantastic dinner. Great quality, great service. Sadly we were the only guests due to the pandemic.

Hopefully things change for the better soon. Hang in there.

Our service was excellent, as Barry was very attentive to our needs.
Both of our dishes were a good value and tasted fantastic.

The food here was excellent. I had the Swiss Chicken Melt, my wife had an 8 oz steak.
You can order off the regular menu, or they have a special combo offer of salad/appetizer, entre and dessert for $39, $49 or $59 depending on your main meal choice. The service was top notch, and the owner checked in with us a couple of times during our meal.
They handled a lot of take out orders when we were there. It seems to be a favourite with the locals. Would definitely go back again.

Great food, great atmosphere!

Not for this event, we did not like the seating arrangements, we could not converse well and would have much preferred chairs for all. For this reason, we will not come again.

Bread should have come sooner, and specials announced earlier to all, not just the first to arrive, then we could have ordered earlier.

Since it was a slow night, as Tuesdays often are, it would have been preferable to be seated in the empty open area directly across from where we were.

The steak had no flavour, and our Chicago style was barely charred. We are returning customers so we know they used to be a lot better. It was disappointing despite the service was wonderful.

Fantastic service from our young female waiter. Appetizers and salad were excellent but cut of steak was chewy and almost inedible. Our waiter was so kind and quick but hearing the rest of the staff gossiping and chatting way too loud was off-putting.
Maybe it was a bad night but. we will not be back.

Our server was great. Aubiance was nice with the white table lining & napkins. I had the lamb shank & it was tender & very good. My husband had the steak with shrimp and he said it was really good.

Bruschetta appetizer and goat cheese app were fantastic! Hubby and I both had ribeyes, cooked perfectly! The roasted veggies that came with dinner were great! Roasted potatoes and fries were just ok! We both left very full! Enjoyed the music while dining! Service was fantastic! Very happy with everything, feel that the price was in line with the area. Would definitely recommend!

Good dinner, menu could have more variety, especially in entree category. We split an entree and has a salad each. Delicious. Enjoyed eating on the patio.

Came back to sandstone after a long time... also my mother was down for a visit so thought I’d take her for dinner.
Service was perfect and so were the drinks.
However the food was not good at all. Terrible!
Lasagna cheese was scabby. Mashed potatoes had no seasoning and they were dry.
It was disappointing and I’ll never eat here again.

I always research restaurants by reviews. Their reviews were good, but I found they did not do it justice. The ribeye steak I ordered couldn't have been better. My server advised me which wellness choice that I would enjoy the best. I enjoy rare , but he advised me I would enjoy medium rare . I took his advice and couldn't be happier. I wouldn't even consider any other restaurant for steak. They may be good, but why take a chance. You will not be let down. Thank you!

This locally owned little Italian place was a nice change from all the tourism in Niagara area. The lasagna was incredible and my husband had a very nice sized steak. Server was pleasant and helpful. Only drawback for us was It’s just a little far from where we were staying at Embassy suites. It was a long walk there but decided to walk back afterwards because we were so full! Definitely recommend and would go back.

Great food outside of the hustle and bustle of Niagara Falls. Highly recommended!

Cocktails were delicious. Lemon drop my new favorite. Food was outstanding especially the peppercorn sauce on the filet. I will be back!

We enjoyed our experience at the Sandstone Grill - the food was excellent & our waiter, Barry, was engaging & helpful. The restaurant did get rather busy later on. We would recommend a water server. We would definitely return!

The Patio is brilliant place to enjoy the succulent fried goat cheese

Enjoyed fried goat cheese appetizer; chicken and the surf and turf for dinner. A butterscotch creme brûlée was a delicious ending to a great dinner. Brandy (our server) added to our enjoyable evening with her pleasant, attentive manner.

Everything was excellent. The soup (ham & bean - special of the day) was the best in recent memory. All our dishes were excellent. I wish there was a craft ale on the beer menu, but three craft lagers were good enough.

Amazing food and service during the long weekend, I recommend if in the area
