We celebrated several birthdays, graduation and engagements in our family. Good food and we liked our table inside - just right for our group.
This trip to Sapore did not live up to previous visits. First, I had requested indoor dining and we were seated in an outside tent. We had not dressed for outdoor dining. It was a cool evening and not all the heaters were working. Service was extremely slow. They were not adequately staffed for the number of patrons. A 2 hour experience for antipasto and entrees. When we finally received our entrees, they were fresh and hot so the staffing shortage included front and back of the house. Sapore has responded to COVID dining restrictions by adding alot of outside, well spaced seats. They need to balance seating with staffing. Since this was not at typical expereince we will return. The food is excellent, and our waitress was doing the best she could under the circumstances.

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. I went with a group of friend and we share the eggplant appetizer, arugula salad, beet salad, chicken parm, chicken picatta and gnocchi sorrentino. Everything was fantastic! I can't wait to go back again! It was one of the best meals I have ever had.

This was our second visit and it was as good as the first time. I made a reservation a week in advance in the off season and could only get 5:30pm so I can imagine how busy it is during the season! Food is truly outstanding. Both Bronzino and Lagostino's were excellent. Love the appetizer of olives, cheese, meats, etc. I think sitting outside on the lawn or on the patio has the nicest ambiance. Tables were spaced well for Covid.
Perfect as always. Great service, appropriately separated seating as per state guidelines. Absolutely the best food which is why we come here ! One of less than a handful of really good restaurants in Cape May. Always a special treat coming here to eat. We come here as many times a year that we can !
The table was ready for our 7 pm reservation. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! We had rack of lamb, salmon, special seafood pasta of the day and veal parmigiana. The fried and grilled calamari appetizers were tasty too. It was a birthday celebration so the staff sang to us during dessert. What a wonderful evening!
