We had another great meal at Scossa this past Saturday. Food was delicious and Buck, our bartender/server was a pleasure as always. We highly recommend.
Scossa is our “go to” restaurant! The bar has a great vibe, Buck is an excellent bartender! Food is always fresh and Rich our server consistently brings his expertise and his fabulous personality to the table! A must when in Easton !
We were surprised to find such a sophisticated yet friendly restaurant in Easton. The interior is warm and elegant, the food very well prepared and presented.
Met my friend for dinner 5onight and we both arrived with calves liver on our mind. Its always very good with veggies done to perfection. This is my favorite dish at scossa.
Another great meal at a wonderful Italian restaurant in Easton, MD. We started with Happy Hour in the bar and then took our reservation in the main dining room in a comfortable booth. The chef's risotto was excellent, as usual. The gelato comes in multiple flavors and is always a taste treat. We will return, whenever we're in Easton.
First class service, gourmet food, excellent waitstaff. This is my favorite restaurant in Easton.
I'm new to Easton and Scossa is the best food in town.
Overall, our dining experience was fine. It was not clear who exactly was our wait staff, as three different people either took our food order or took our drink order. Also, both my table mate and I were consistently drinking our water and, of course, eventually our glasses needed replenishing. The first time someone came by to refill our glasses, they only filled my tablemate's glass, and not mine, although both were nearly empty. This happened a second time. By the third time it seemed it would happen again, I spoke up and asked for water. Never should a diner have to request something so basic, and especially when it was clear that the server was selectively filling one person's nearly empty glass and not the other. And, the only other difference between my tablemate and I is our ethnicity. I would hate to believe that there was a bias being acted on, and at such an establishment. If not, then the only conclusion is poor execution of basic service.
Very comfortable location, friendly service, great food & wine.
Scossa is always our “go to” restaurant when visiting Easton. Great food and great service!
Consistently wonderful, from service to ambience and food.
Great service, food and atmosphere. Will absolutely recommend. Cannot wait to go back
We eat there once a month, and it's usually wonderful food and great service. This time there was a woman in the bar who was extremely loud and obnoxious, yelling loudly. We said something to our waiter about this, and he said there was some kind of private agency party. It spoiled our dinner. We'll go back because the food is great.
We have enjoyed dining at this restaurant for many years and always have an enjoyable experience. Only surprise on this visit was that they were out of several menu options very early in the evening.
Our food was delicious and our service was great! Rich took good care of us and made our anniversary celebration a memorable one.
It was just adequate. The food was fine, but nothing special. The biggest problem was that they took a 7:30 dinner reservation and then told us at 7:55 the kitchen was closing! So what we had hoped would be a leisurely meal felt rushed. Really disappointing
Food good as always and service good as always
This was our first experience st Scossa, a birthday dinner for my wife. Despite it being post-Labor Day and a Sunday night, the restaurant was quite busy, a good sign that food and service are good here (...or that not much else is open!), and we were not disappointed. The antipasto and main corses were excellent, and our server was very friendly, informative, and helpful. We ate inside and noise levels were a bit high for my liking, but I wear hearing aids, which tend to pick up lots of ambient noise. For normal people it should be fine. We will definitely be back.
We have gone to Scossa’s many times. We believe that it is the best restaurant on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and one of the best in Maryland. It is highly consistent with outstanding food and wine and excellent service. It has been a while since we have been to Scossa’s and it was like coming home.
Very nice restaurant with good food and service
Service was fair. We were charged $18.50 for a child’s penne pasta and butter. My cavatelli was $17.50. When I complained I was comped $3.50. $15.00 for a kids penne pasta with butter!? I mentioned in our reservation it was my husbands birthday-not one acknowledgement. Food tasted good, but I was disappointed.
If you want good food, I mean great food, a cocktail made to order, The very best service and a five-star experience then this is the restaurant for you.
Menu shows little creativity.
I eat here regularly and I have never had a bad meal. Their risotto is especially wonderful -- and they will put anything into it you want. Give it a try!!
Service was pleasant, more than efficient. Food was hot, obviously served immediately after preparation, and of high quality. It wasn't crowded, so noiuse level was fine. Recommend highly.
My wife and I were visiting in Easton and had dinner there. Sat at the Bar first Great Bartender Buck. Our waiter as well as all the staff allowed my wife and I to really dine and enjoy each course of our meal Our waiter Rich was awesome the food was awesome and we would tell anyone visiting Easton Md to eat there. The owner Talley was fantastic the place is clean friendly comfortable and has great food. Jack Mc G.
We really enjoyed happy hour at the bar and then dinner in the dining room. The Caesar salad with anchovies and the Shrimp Risotto were excellent, as usual. This is our favorite restaurant in Easton, MD.
We always make a reservation.
We were seated immediately. Our server was attentive and helpful, and the food was delicious! Everybody was friendly. We were able to sit back, enjoy our meal without feeling rushed to leave.
The most Authentic Italian food this side of the Atlantic. Even my Nonna would be happy!
Excellent wine list and menu selections. Service was top notch. Our server named Cody knew the menu very well and was very helpful in getting us an excellent selection of dishes we shared.
The most consistent good food and good service in town!
Scossa is definitely one of the best Italian restaurant in the town of Easton. It has a very classy feel as you enter and just keeps getting better as you are seated. I had the Veal Loin Scaloppine with Porcini Mushrooms that had a light flavor and was very tender. My wife ordered an off-menu Chicken Piccata (which they gladly accommodated). The special Pasta which multiple people in our party had was the Lobster & Shrimp Ravioli…. which was light and adequately stuff with that filling. To me, the one thing that always designates a fine restaurant with an experience chef is that each plate was not over sauced or too salty with excessive cream or butter that can just overwhelm the meal. Deserts were the usual Italian dolci and were excellent as well. All of the dishes were presented well and the service was really outstanding.
Service and food was wonderful and we loved the town of Eastern
Scocca is always great
45th Anniversary. Superb menu and drink and wine list. Server was very knowledgeable and made excellent dinner suggestions. We particularly liked the scallops and mushroom appetizer. The calves liver entree was excellent as was the soft shell crab. The restaurant is upscale advising proper dress but not enforcing. Tables nicely set with tablecloths. Overall a very nice dining experience. Perhaps best of Easton!
Great food, impeccable service and a definite regular spot!!
Best restaurant, best food, best staff
There was a large table with children next to us which was distracting! Usually it is a great place to visit and have conversations.
Excellent , no issues
always on their game and always a wonderful dining experience
