    I've been to Select Oyster many times - the quality of the food and preparation is really top notch, and justifies the high prices. The menu has been (besides specials) pretty much the same for a long time - it would be nice to see some variation. Wine selection and cocktails are great. I started with fresh white anchovies over bruschetta, my favorite. The tomato sauce is on the sweet side, but not cloyingly so. Then bouillabaisse, which is fantastic. Lots of seafood variety and corn in the broth. To my taste, they could leave off the weird aioli that's slathered on the accompanying toast. It's gummy and obliterates the taste of the rest or the dish. But otherwise great!

    My daughter and I who loooove oysters, stopped in during our holiday shopping weekend. Space is charming with a great vibe! Bartender let us know right away that the hostess would be right with us (grateful always to see a friendly face when from out of town and at a loss of where to stand and what to do). We were seated right away, and saw the little ordering sheet for oysters and other delicious sea morsels. We opted to try 3 of all their oyster offerings and they were so fresh, like they were just gathered from the ocean! My daughter ordered the ribeye, and considering this is a sea food place, we didn’t expect the quality and deliciousness of the ribeye. Perfectly cooked and seasoned to mouthwatering perfection. I had the lobster which was also incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. Our server was top notch with her attentiveness and efficiency. Such a fabulous place!!

    Excellent -- can't wait to come back!!! After a couple of lovely experiences with groups of girlfriends, I brought my husband here for a date night. We were seated in the extended back of the restaurant, which I previously was unaware existed. It was less cozy, and felt a bit louder/busier due to the acoustics, but once we settled in, it was fine. We enjoyed the Shrimp ceviche special and Halibut entree special, in addition to the incredible Hamachi crudo with passionfruit and the beet salad from the regular menu. Everything was fantastic! Our server was wonderful and the consummate professional when we asked for the nice bottle of Pinot Noir he selected to be lowered a couple of degrees. She put it in a wine cooler and was perfectly attentive to topping off our wine as we enjoyed while taking care not to pour too much to ensure we enjoyed it at just the right temperature. She and the service team also paced the dishes beautifully, which is really rare these days ~ a true art that transforms a meal into beautiful experience. Thank you for a wonderful night, we will be back!!!

    Had a great meal at the counter. Oysters were superb as was the octopus and swordfish. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. A wonderful experience for my 71st birthday!

    Food was exceptional, lovely variation on seafood - very creative. Bar seating can be cramped and uncomfortable, request the back dining room when making a reservation. We, party of two, have eaten there twice and it can be pricey, on average $275. with tip.

    Unbelievable! Cava and a dozen fresh oysters, yes and the Spanish Octopus is a game changer and the wait staff was top notch. 100% recommend if you’re in town, and if you’re not in town then get here.

    Food was great but very expensive. $4.95 for an oyster? It's a small place and turns out to be cacophony, with nowhere for the noise to be absorbed or softened. They spend a lot of time rushing tables through their dinner. Again, a small place, got to turn over the crowd.
