The food was great service was very good. Excellent overall. Would go back in a heart beat.
Seven Seas has the best Sunday brunch. Great food, service, and value. Beautiful view of Lake Nagawicka. My favorite place for brunch.
Jean Luc was our server and he did an excellent job. Food was great - only thing that we didn’t really care for was the bread. It had what looked like a lot of interesting elements but was bland. Very enjoyable dinner for our group.
Drinks were powerful, steaks were delicious and our waitress Debra was totally committed. We had the filet and ribeye and both were cooked to perfection and among the best out there. Though we appreciate the overall ambiance of Seven Seas, it seems caught somewhere between 70's supper club (which is awesome) and late 90's culinary decor. (For instance the bar lounge/overflow area, or the fish tank) The coat room seemed messy and having the open office in plain site ruins some of the magic. I think an update that honors its supper club roots would be outstanding. I'll leave that to the experts to decide what that means exactly...Maybe a Gasthaus themed Rathskellar? Maybe large historical supper club photos? In any case we'll be back again!
Food, service, and drinks were a wonderful experience. It was my son’s birthday and his server got him a scrumptious dessert. The mushroom appetizer was different and delicious. I can hardly wait for our next visit.
We all enjoyed our meals and the great service. In particular people liked the Walleye Pike dish, the scallops and the traditional German entrees. We are looking forward to a return visit.
Had a fabulous meal at Seven Seas! Our server was friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect. I will definitely be back.
Our table was ready when we arrived, we enjoyed a nice drink before our meal and the meals was made just as we ordered it. The view of the sunset over the lake on a cooler fall day was beautiful. Service was wonderful and the cost was not overpriced on our opinion. I would recommend Seven Seas to anyone asking.
I feel that your price point is high! I had the ahi tuna. I think it was just okay and not worth the money spent!
Had a lovely dinner - look forward to next year's Anniversary!
The food and ambiance were very nice. Unfortunately, despite having a good server, our meals and check took forever. A simple meal shouldn't take 2 1/2 hours. They need to hire more servers.
We enjoy the family style brunch. Although the omelet was excellent, the omelet station was far from the table and I waited a long while for my omelet. Omelet maker was also doing waffles and the iron became too hot so the waffle stuck making it hard for him to prepare both. He became concerned to get the burnt waffle off and made us stand there for our omelets. Hire someone to make waffles separate.
This was our first visit to this restaurant and had a 6:30 reservation. We got there about 6:15 and they said it would be a 20 minute wait for a window table. At 7:00 I asked what is status us table and they said it would be soon. At 7:20 we were finally seated, but it took another 15 minutes for the waitress to show up. We greatly enjoyed the food that we ordered, so would recommend the food, but not the service.
Table for two, Sunday Evening. Restaurant was not yet busy, so we had a quiet dining room with a view of the lake. Food was delicious. The chocolate torte was terrific !
It’s a nice place to go once, because of the setting.
I would recommend trying their grill or patio vs the restaurant. The view is beautiful. Unfortunately, we sat 20 minutes with no waiter, water, or menus. The waiter waited on a large party that came in after us first, further delaying our dinner. Like most reviews state, service is not stellar. Training is likely a good first step. This could be a great place, instead it is average.
Each person in our family of five from 5 to 76 years of age enjoyed the meal. The waitress was very accommodating of our grandson. As always, the experience was very enjoyable.
We sat outside and their patio was beautiful! Small - would be nice if they could expand with those views but food and drinks were great.
7:15 reservation, and we were not seated till 8:40. Waitresses emptying tables and we were the last people in there trying to eat dinner. We will not be back.
We didn't get to sit by a window as requested. In fact, we were sat in a corner where we couldn't even see the sunset. The next closest table to us was a large birthday party that was very loud. I'm sure there is always a demand for window seating but there is also outside seating and bar seating which wasn't even discussed as an option for us.
We do love this place otherwise. It's not only about the seating.
Needed more wait staff. Had to wait entirely too long for entree (1hour) and 30+ min for bill after dishes were cleared. Single waitress had to take care of al diners.
Beautiful ambiance and setting. However, food was sub par and service was extremely slow even though very friendly and polite.
Beautiful setting on the lake with large windows in the dining room. I tried one of the German entrees and it was excellent. Friends also enjoyed the prime rib.
Family get together
Great meal, great sunset over the lake
Four of us went here for an enjoyable Sunday brunch at 1 pm. Had a panoramic window seat in this beautiful classic lakeside restaurant on clear Lake Nagawicki.
Seven Seas has been the home of nearly all of our family's major events for a few decades, and they have never disappointed. Everything has been consistently wonderful ever since our first meal there! You can't go wrong making this place your home, too! Anne Ricker Cunningham
The wait staff was perfectly fine. However the main food dishes were subpar and I would expect much more when paying 15 dollars per entree.
The lobster was outstanding! My mushroom risotto was amazing my wife couldn’t stop tasting mine!! Definitely left with a very satisfied tummy!! The new updated menu is very nice!! We love it there!! ❤️
Beautiful table next to the window with lake views. Varied menu with lots of choices. 2 in our party had German style entrees, 2 had seafood. Everyone was happy.
Delicious food, great atmosphere!
Always a special place to go on summer evenings.
It was 15 minutes before our server came to speak with us and then another 15 minutes before our first drinks arrived (in a half filled restaurant) and one of our drinks had a bug in it and had to be sent back. The filet was very good, but the crab stuffed shrimp had an unknown flavor and my wife was ill the next day. Can’t confirm it’s related, but possible.
One of the best fine dining meals I've had in a long time. We were treated like royalty. Prompt service, great food, wonderful lake views, a bit on the pricey side but all-in-all, just a wonderful evening.
Food was very good - a little pricey though. Service was very slow. The had a car show there that took up the entire parking lot for the restaurant. Had to park across the street.
Had dinner on the patio and watched the fireworks on the lake. Staff was exceptional! Great place to spend the evening. Will be back again!
Food was not very good- drinks were terrible . The hostess seemed bored and the poor waiters overworked.
This is an outstanding restaurant on a beautiful lake. The service and food is always first class. They are now offering a Sunday brunch menu besides the buffet and our selection was excellent and a good value. Will definitely return next Sunday.. the loyalty app is very helpful.
We requested the prime rib to be done "medium" and it was more "well done". The lobster didn't have much taste. The menu is very limited. Liked it when you had more of a selection. It was just okay. For the price would have expected better.
Expected better menu for father's day just the normal lunch menu
Great food, great service, great value and highly recommended.
