Amazing meal. Great service. Highly recommended. We ate here on our wedding night and try to get here every year. Monk fish dinner was incredible.... This was 7th anniversary. Thank you Sidneys for excellence.......
Always good. My go to place for an excellent meal. Fortunate to have such a quality restaurant locally
[bleep] awesome! Well worth the drive to the rural village of East Berlin.
Great food. Great service. Possibly the best in central PA for fine dining.
As always, reliable for high quality, creative but not overly fussy food, well prepared, presented and served. We go there a few times a year; if we lived closer we would be regulars. The wine list is interesting and fairly priced.
Easily the best restaurant in a 50 mile radius, I often ask myself why I'd go anywhere else.
We went to Sidney for my husband's birthday as it is our go to place for celebrations. As always the food was incredible. Although it's 45 minutes from our home it's always worth the trip and remains our favorite restaurant in south central Pennsylvania.
Our favorite place to go for a special occasion! Best steak around.
Never disappoints. We always try something new, but their creativity with scallops is always a winner.
Celebrating a friends birthday! We enjoyed sharing the potato crisp appetizer. My open face Haddock was delicious and my friends loved their chicken wraps. Shared deserts were superb! Service was wonderful. Thanks for a pleasant afternoon!
Always enjoy this comfortable venue with well trained staff and delicious food.
We went for our anniversary and the waitress greeted us with glasses of champagne. This is a hidden gem in York county and I’m so glad we found it. The food was absolutely delicious. Excited to go back.
Our favorite spot for Valentine's Day. Wonderful experience.
We love it here it is our favorite place especially for special occasions. The food is alway on point and timely great atmosphere and superb service.
Food and Service was excellent. Plan on going back
The food and ambiance we perfect. Everything was delicious and perfectly served.
The Duck was great.
Outstanding food was very good the waiter was so nice we had fresh bread drinks and the place was very old had that romantic feel
Everytime we go to Sidney we ask ourselves why we don't come exclusively to this restaurant!! It is a gem in the York/East Berlin area with dishes that are original and far surpass what we get in some big cities that we frequent. Please give the chef a 2 thumbs up.... keeping doing what you are doing. We enjoy it so much ever visit!

Great food and service!!!! Can’t wait until our next visit!!
The service is always spotty, but the delicious food makes up for it. This time though the split pea soup had a very good flavor, but the peas were hard. I was told that it was a new recipe.
Some of the best meals we’ve had in a long time!!! I like that it’s not a noisy restaurant, but it was almost too quiet. We felt awkward when we were laughing and chatting in the quiet.
We thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at Sidney's. I highly recommend it. Our only issue was an extraordinarily loud table of four on New Year's Eve. I know we went the only patrons who noticed. I think everyone was aware of how loud they were except them.
Great food and good service staff. Only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it took an hour from when we ordered until the food was served. The kitchen is small and can’t handle a full house.
Everything about the evening was lovely.
We love Sidney, and miss Willoughby Run. When I asked about my son's friend Chef Neil, I was told he is doing better. We wish him well!
As usual, the food was delicious. We always get the pate, and the chef's pate is wonderful. There was a large party table in the same dining room, and they were very loud. The food is worth putting up with that though.
Great food selection, Hidden county gem
Yummy! Everything was great! Always enjoy our dining experience at Sidney's.
Third time dining at Sidney and I have to say, this was the best meal I have had. The seafood game is on point. Wine list is strong. Craft cocktails are delicious. Definitely check it out.
Some new menu items since our last visit (sorry it was so long)... but you can NEVER go wrong with fresh oysters... the trout was caught that morning, and the duck was incredible as always.
I had the wild mushroom and escargot ravioli that was one of the best appetizers I've ever had. For my main entree I had the duck with farro, prunes, walnuts and butternut squash puree. OUTSTANDING.
Pleasantly surprised and great
The food was excellent, we were delighted to taste new items on the menu. The duck was exquisite, prepared to perfection. My husband had the trout which was outstanding.
So pleasantly surprised to try these new items, we look froward to returning.
We hope to see items on the menu change often.
My son and I had squash soup, pate, oysters on the half, prime rib and the sirloin steak. Absolutely everything was perfect! We will be back in force with friends & family.
I know a number of foodies in Harrisburg who are very interested, and they asked lots of questions. I gave Sidneys a thumbs up 5 stars. Everything here is made in house.
I took my wife there for our 40th ann. and she loved it. I loved it very much also.
The food and service were both great. We enjoyed our dinner at Sidney.
Everything was both beautifully presented and spectacularly delicious!
the food is always wonderful. The ambience is somewhat cold and sterile. The large dining room can be noisy.
