Prime rib was great
Siegels and the staff make you feel welcome!! Always enjoy going there!!
The food was delicious and the restaurant was very clean staff was friendly and polite
They never disappoint! Always consistently great food and service. The free dessert for Mother's Day was an exceptional bonus.
Good food but the servers take awhile to serve you
A woman at another table was talking so loudly through our whole meal that the two of us could hardly converse with each other.
Other than that, the food made up for it.
we had excellent, attentive service. Thoroughly enjoyed the Prime Rib, too.
Thought the waiter might have forgot about us for a time
made a reservation but were seated when we arrived early. The food was very good and the service as well. It was a nice dining experience
Making a reservation was the way to go
We got the prime rib special was $14.95 worth every bite. But overall feel the regular prices were way to high. In fact all the prices were to much. For downtown Vegas. Service was very slow and waitresses were not very friendly. Had to wait ten minutes at front to pay bill. Wish it would have been a better experience for our first time there.
same as always. still a little cold in the room. we will be back.
Get the prime rib special! Comes with starch choices and vegetables.
Food was good and the price was right. We all had the $14.99 prime rib special and it was delicious.
The hush puppies tasted like a sweet cornbreaded onion ring. Quite addicting.
Multiple pieces of crispy battered fried fish.
Great place with delicious food!
For $14.95, it was a pretty good deal. The service was sub par...not, I think, because of the employee's lack of care and work, but being short staffed. I assume they have the same free-COVID-related-money challenge in hiring that every other business has today.
Food was great, service - took forever to take our order. Had to ask for drink refills..
If you are staying at the El Cortez hotel in Las Vegas, most likely you will consider eating at the Siegel's 1941.
Siegel's is the only sit-down restaurant currently open at the El Cortez as of April 2021.
During our stay we did eat there on two different occasions.
Our first meal we were able to get a seat without a reservation and ordered a steak and eggs breakfast and a southern fried Chicken dinner. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his steak and eggs but I would not recommend getting the fried chicken dinner. Fried Chicken is a hard thing to get well made and this was very dry and overcooked. Servers at the restaurant seem like they've been there forever and are very friendly and helpful.
Are second meal we reserved through open table and arrived a little early and we're seated. This time we had planned on getting the prime rib special for $14.95 each. This special is posted throughout the casino but is not on the menu so you do have to ask for it. We definitely enjoyed our prime rib meal although not the best prime rib I've ever had I would definitely get it again for that price! Again our server was wonderful and the food came pretty quickly.
We ate breakfast here and the food was excellent! Price was outstanding for the amount of food given. Very good value. We will definitely be back to eat here.
Food was good, service was good, BUT it was very cold in the restaurant. The casino was also cold.
The food was amazing and the waiter was friendly and helpful. The lady at the front seemed stressed out by the amount of people checking in. We had about a 5 minute wait for our reservations.
Food and service was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised.
BEST DINNER IN A LONG TIME!! We have been to Vegas many times and have eaten at all sorts of spots ... this was BY FAR one of the best meals we have ever had. Our party had a variety of meals from the liver and onions, rack of ribs, pot roast, and cornbeef hash and none of it disappointed! We were celebrating birthdays and they brought us not 1, but 2 desserts and the whole restaurant joined in on the singing. THANK YOU for making us feel special! We will definitely be back
Excellent food and cooked exactly as requested. That sounds like something that should be expected but its uncommon in my experience. Siegel's 1941 though was excellent on these details. Will for sure visit again.
Siegel's is an amazing establishment with good food for a great price! Try the Prime Rib special for just $14! So good!
The restaurant is smack dab in the middle of a casino so it will smell like cigarette smoke bit. But the food was really good!
Has the prime rib special; not great but ok. Nice decor with a 1930s vibe. Within walking distance of Fremont Experience which is a must see
Linda, our server wasFABULOUS! She was attentative withour hovering! Wednesday night55+pricing is the absolute best in town! Make a reservation through Open Table for a smooth WEDNESDAY DINNER! Ask for Linda!
The Prime Rib was excellent one of the best I ever had. and service was good to
Had a reservation. Seated right away. Good coffee shop food and service.
Terrible service. Like a mediocre coffee shop, but suddenly selling steaks. GM walked through, looked around, sat down and went right into his phone.... zero glad-handing, no appreciation of the patrons. This place sucks! Management leads the team, so it’s no wonder service is terrible.
It was a great dinner - we all had Prime Rib and it was perfect!
Nice meal, you can order breakfast 24 hours the chicken fried steak is great!
table of 5, all had something different. It arrived at the table with perfection
The food was delicious. The mashed potatoes and chicken was incredible. Nancy was our server and she was less than incredible. The staff as a whole was pretty bad. Make a reservation!
Nice downtown spot.
The Prime Rib Special was amazing.
Mashed potatoes bland. But rest of meal good.
Order the cheesecake!
For the prices, the food and service were average. It's the only place to eat at the El Cortez, currently. But, if you don't mind the walk, I would try somewhere else along Fremont Street.
Best kept secret for downtown dining options. We’ve dined here every visit over several years and food is fresh and well prepared too. Always spotless and shiny too. Staff is courteous and well trained. Consistently fabulous!
Had the king cut prime rib. I have NEVER had prime rib as bad as this. The cut was full of grizzle and almost a quarter of it was fat. And the potatoes were cold. When I complained to the manager her response was simply “I’ll let the chef know”!!! Totally unsatisfactory!! No offer of any compensation whatsoever!!! I’ll never eat at that establishment again!!!!
The prime rib special was delicious and a great value!
