Great food. Good size portions. A little pricey but good. Great ambiance.

The food here is typical American Chinese, based on Guangdong cuisine. If you keep that in mind, the food here is generally pretty good with nothing that's very good or outstanding. You won't find anything that's authentically Chinese on the menu or food from other areas of China - nothing Sichuan, for example.

You have to dodge a lot of corn starch and sugar in the dishes. Avoid anything served with Gwin Jin sauce unless you like the food at the Panda Express chain of mall restaurants. Super sweet and thick. Not my thing.

The curry sauce is OK. Neither Indian nor Chinese, it's heavy on curry powder. Not bad.

The restaurant is tidy but the decor is pretty tired. The view of the parking lot from the wall of picture windows is... interesting.

Service was great. Nothing but good things to say about that. The staff are attentive, friendly and efficient.

Silver Palace survives because it's in a town that doesn't have very many other options for Chinese food. It's worth a visit if you're already in Burlington but you would be advised to not make a special trip to eat here.

First time there, solid for your every day Asian fare

Food was good. I enjoyed mine a lot. They were very accommodating to my gluten free needs and were able to make quite a few options for me. My friend didn’t evnjoy his meal, but I’d take that with a grain of salt. I’m in the service industry and from an area with a lot of sit-down Chinese restaurants. My standards are pretty high, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

the food was extraordinary, the service outstanding ... just loved it! my only complaint is that there was a table of young men near us and some of their choice of words were not appropriate when trying to have a pleasant dining experience. there's no way waitstaff/management didn't hear the language and I just wish they'd said something.

Silver Palace is a very good Chinese/Asian food restaurant providing a consistently good dining experience.

The food is really really tasty, always! No short cuts---everything tastes fresh and homemade. And the meats are of the highest quality. I love the broth that they make for the soups. When you get tired of generic Chinese food, come here and your taste buds will thank you!

Great GF options

Great find buried off Main Street in Burlington. The food was out of this world- portions are large and very tasty. We had the sesame chicken; Kong pao beef and house fried rice. Service was terrific. This was our second visit- Definitely going back the next time we are in town.

If you want to save a dollar or two. Go for lunch. Dinner can be a bit pricey.I loved the noodle bowl.

Nothing special, everything was OK. I did say the fried tofu dish was the best. The Indian dish was not as flavorful as I'd expect. Interior seems a bit dated.

Wonderful meal here, the food was fresh and cooked to order. Three of us got different entrees, we all found them delicious. Not your typical Chinese American food that’s been precooked and sitting in a warming tray. Vegan friendly, which was an additional plus for us. Will definitely be back.

Been a patron since the 80s! Excellent service and great food. Never been disappointed. The GF options are some of the best things n the area. Check out the popcorn shrimp!!

Not the best Chinese I have ever eaten but it was decent.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal. The menu included some traditional Asian restaurant standbys, plus many dishes showing creative twists on those. Flavors on everything was terrific, whether traditional or not. Our server was a gem, too. We hadn't been to Silver Palace in a couple of years but always liked it. This time -- and on a busy New Year's Eve -- they managed to exceed themselves.

I hadn't been to the Silver Palace in a long time. It was convenient to the concert venue next door so we decided to go there for dinner beforehand. I was shocked at how empty it was on a Saturday evening. It used to be known as one of the best Asian restaurants in town. The food was good, but the service was surprisingly slow given how empty it was. There may have been as many staff as customers. We waited a long time and finally had to ask our server for our soup. I was really disappointed in the experience given how positive my expectations were before the visit.

Outstanding! This is the type of place where you could close your eyes, choose an item off the menu at random and always end up satisfied. If you have the opportunity to get the scallops in grand marnier sauce, do so!

The Silver Palace rates among the best Chinese restaurants we've ever been to. We're so lucky to have them in our hometown. Everyone I know who has ever eaten there agrees.

Very pleasant atmosphere with quick and attentive service. The host seated us and promptly took our drink order. Waitress was right behind him. We ordered the pork potstickers which were huge and too much food for only two as an appetizer. They would be great for a party of 3 or 4. We ordered the Country Chicken and the Chicken Curry Bowl. Both were very good with the Country Chicken getting 5 stars.

Took a group of 7 here during UVM's graduation weekend. They were able to accommodate us fairly efficiently. A pleasant evening was had by all!!

We went here after graduation and honestly, we went because they had a table available and it was a "free" reservation (deposits are required on big weekends like graduation for a reservation at most restaurants. However, we had one of the best meals at a Chinese restaurant! Good options to choose from, several vegetarian as well. We will be visiting Silver Palace again!

Everything we ordered was wonderful! We were a large group and they were very attentive and let us order as we got hungry! The apps were tasty especially the soft shell crab!

We had a great meal here. Service was fast and good. Food was delicious and served quickly. Portions are huge. Wine selection is limited but fine and reasonably priced. I'd be happy to return.

Good food at great prices. The waitress was a bit slow to take our order but then the food came out quickly and was good.

The country chicken was exceptional but we thought the dumplings were heavy, the chicken lo mein too greasy, even for a greasy dish, and the the orange beef devoid of spice even though I'd asked them to pump up the heat on what's described as a mildly spicy preparation. I was told the kitchen crew probably mixed up my request with someone else's. I did think the vegetables in the beef dish were better than the typical onions and baby corn fare we get elsewhere. The meal came to $95 for three of us, including one glass of wine and two appetizers. At those prices, I'd only go back to get the chicken as take-out.

Wide variety of menu choices at great prices. Generous portions, delicious taste, at a very good price. Wait staff was very polite and helpful with any questions we had about the menu. Nice atmosphere. In our opinion, this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. We highly recommend the Silver Palace for dinner.

We have enjoyed Silver Palace for many years. The food is always well prepared, the wait staff courteous and attentive, and the prices reasonable. It is our "go to" place for Chinese food and I am confident will be for many years to come.

I very much enjoy Silver Palace. It gets a little loud on the weekends but that's just because they have rather big parties on those days. The weekdays are quieter and the food is always delicious. The prices may seem high but it's worth it because they give a lot of really good food that's cooked fresh and well. Their service is great and they're really good at making things to your liking and not making a big deal about it. Drinks a good too. Would go again and recommend to many friends!

Silver Palace is one of my favorite spots in the area. We've been going here for years, and the food and service are always excellent. Good ambiance, some quiet piano music playing in the background, and the tables are spaced nicely apart for actually being able to hear your partner/eating companions. If you're going for the first time, I would say go with the Thai seafood if you're a seafood person, and if not, the orange beef is a good choice too. Last time I was here, my partner and I split the seafood panfried noodles and the Indian curry tofu. The noodles brought back memories of my trip to Hong Kong, and the curry tofu was—well, it's hard to go wrong with anything curry for me, and I actually finished most of this dish myself! Would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.

While the food is good, it's incredibly overpriced. I can get better Chinese/Asian food for much less in other places.

The food and service was excellent. The price of drinks surprised the guests.
