South City Kitchen Midtown
Good food, albeit on the pricey side. Great service.
Always a great experience. Shrimp and grits top of the line and the fried chicken crispy and juicy. Great service and overall great experience.
Out waiter Manny was very pleasant and explained some of the menu items in detail. The manager spent time talking with my friend and I about his restaurants plan during the Coronavirus situation we as a country are facing. Very concerned about continuing to provide food service in a healthy environment.
Great service and friendly staff. We sat outside and enjoyed everything, especially they're she-crab soup!
I dined at South City Kitchen with two colleagues while in Atlanta on business. It was great! I had the she-crab soup and shrimp and grits, and both were delicious. One of my colleagues had the fried chicken and said it was very good as well. My other colleague is vegan and gluten-free and was very happy with his dinner. The service was friendly, professional, and attentive, without being overbearing. I would definitely recommend South City Kitchen!
Excellent mea and excellent service.
Food was good and server was very nice and attentive.
Best southern dishes in town. This lunch spot is always buzzing! A must-try! The staff is amazing too :)
Our food was delicious - the homemade cornbread was to die for - but our waitress was very rude and standoffish, which made what would have been a really lovely brunch very uncomfortable and off putting.
Great place! The food and service is the best! Best southern dishes in the city!
wait staff fine .Hostess , not very accommodating !
Went in for a small business lunch. Everything from the service, food, and noise level were perfect. I would highly recommend. Thanks
The food was amazing! I definitely recommend South City Kitchen!
We were seated right away with our reservation. Sydney was our server, and did an excellent job. Food came out quickly, hot and excellent. MOD checked on us once to insure we were happy with our Brunch items and service.
Wonderful in every regard.
Sunday brunch.....knocked it out of the park.
A little loud for a business meeting, but otherwise eveything was excellent
The fried chicken was delicious, but collard greens that came with it stole the show!
Birthday dinner for our daughter. It was great!
Wow! We were blown away by the food flavors, the authenticity of the experience and the service. All top notch! Two members of our party had the springer chicken entree and it was the best fried chicken we ever had! I wish we had room for dessert because I bet was outstanding. You will not be disappointed!
Nice meal for celebrating son 21st birthday with family. Service excellent. It was a nice touch to include a complimentary birthday dessert surprise. If you like chicken livers, they were a great bargain. I did not try them since I am not a fan. Pork dish was good. Duck looked to be the tastiest entree at our table.
The service, food, and ambience was excellent. Our server Dorian was professional, courteous, friendly and well versed in the menu items. The manager came over to check on us as well. The food was fantastic...can't wait to get back.
Our server was absolutely wonderful!! I had a great birthday brunch
Some of the best food I’ve had in Atlanta! We loved our server, she was attentive but not overly so and had a great sense of humor. I’d highly recommend the waffle and the egg white frittata. Both were incredible.
The service was phenomenal. The food was great. First time here and will visit South City again
Food was delicious. Waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable.
I truely enjoyed the staff, the ambiance and the food...Aside from parking, The Midtown location was great..
Server was excellent; she was gracious and understanding of our old friends' "reunion" and didn't push us along - even during a busy Friday lunch hour period. Host was very personable and welcoming. Noise level high with all the hard surfaces; wish they could ameliorate this to some degree because it really made it difficult to talk without yelling.
Great local southern food nice vibe good service highly recommend though hard to get reservations
Great service. We arrived early for our reservation for two, and added a person- Staff readily and gladly accommodated. Service was very good - as was most of the meal. Chicken livers, pork chop awesome as always. Ordered the Swordfish - was dry, and the overall dish a bit complicated... not my favorite. Otherwise really good. Although that one dish was a miss, still one of our favorite places in the city.
Ladies bi monthly dinner out. Will choose another location. The restaurant was entirely too loud
Wonderful lunch! The staff is amazing and the ambiance buzzing with energy. Love this hidden gem in the city!
Food was good. However, it was super cold. We sat next to an old fireplace that was not working. The draft from the outside was almost unbearable. Place was crowded. Asked the waitress about closing the vent or adjusting the heat but to no avail. As we were leaving we noted the temp downstairs was much warmer.
Great service, delicious food and presentation. Loved it all!
Sides were lukewarm, which was disappointing
We sent back the cauliflower dish as inedible with parts of it cold and parts of it hot. The sweet potato/brussel sprouts side dish tasted bad. And with no valet parking, we paid $20 to park across the street for a one hour dinner. Won't return.
They were very accommodating to our accessibility needs, and kept a great line of communication as plans changed. Great food and great customer service.
We've eaten at this South City Kitchen several times and it is always terrific. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food is delicious and inventive. It's a great take on southern cuisine.
It's such a great place to eat and be with loved ones!
Best southern spot on the city! The staff is amazing!
