   Mary, our waitress, was phenomenal!! She was so attentive and kind. We were celebrating our 22nd anniversary and she brought us champagne and sent us home with a dessert. Way above anything I could have imagined. So kind! We have been a few times and the good is always amazing! The redfish grilled was delicious! Highly Recommend to anyone. 😊

   Fried chicken and corn bread were good, vegetables were not. Service was slow, and the whole experience not up to the standards of the Hotel Emma where it is located.

   We were visiting San Antonio for the first time and read about the Pearl Brewery area and the opening of this brewery in this historic building in 2015 and was super excited to walk from downtown along the river walk to eat for my husbands birthday. The location was amazing and historic. Ribeye steak and home made pretzels were amazing as was the Pilsner and IPA we had. Service was also perfect! Highly recommend the stroll past the locks to this brewery for dinner!!

   From the moment we entered, we were treated to great service. The weather wasn’t ideal for outdoor dining but the staff was super helpful accommodating a reservation switch for an inside table. Our server Ray was friendly and prompt with our food and drinks. Definitely a great experience.

    AGM Ms.Carrie and Server Mr.Eric made our experience worth while. Their suggestions were all great. chicken was amazing and cornbread as well as the amberjack fish. We enjoyed the entire experience so thank you for making the date night out so worth it!!!! Keep it up all.

    Great food. Kid's meals were fantastic, especially the steak meal. The antelope was surprising and tasty. Would recommend the shrimp plate. The microbrews are great as well! Outside was perfect for the kids, having them run around while we waited for the meal.

    The food has changed. Sadly. I recall the cracker crusted red fish with lump crab and lemon better- I ate it years ago on an anniversary. I’ve been dreaming of it! I came over SB to finally have again——-sooooo disappointed!! The taste and portion not the same. And it’s soooo expensive. Never coming back.

    I find it odd that the Pearl location is so much different than the Rim. The Pearl location just has better ambiance and the menu is more eclectic. I’m think the cost of some dishes on the menu are much pricier than they should be, but overall - Southerleigh at the Pearl is consistently good.

    Overall enjoyable meal. The corn bread was amazing. My husband had a burger which he felt was very good. My fried chicken was very good to excellent. The restaurant has a really interesting history and captivating architecture. The Pearl area where it is located has lots of restaurants and other activity on nice days. A pleasure to be in the environment.

    Really great experience, we had the steak frites and fried chicken with calamari and everything was great! Our server was very helpful with the items and choosing what to eat and allowing us to sample some sauce we had never tried before. Overall, great place for a Valentine’s Day dinner or even just a night out to eat in a great area. Parking was easy, and was not that bad of a walk. Will definitely be back!

    Nice Sunday brunch with terrific Bloody Mary’s to start at the bar at the Emma Hotel. Food was terrific but a tad pricy for only one sangria each. Great setting and equally friendly service. Nice place.

    Excellent service. We went for brunch, the breakfast food was yummy. Potatoes were a bit dry and the pretzel app mustard sauce was strange, too sweet for us, which is why I rated the food 4 stars. Our server Aimelia was great and as always the ambience was amazing.

    The chicken and waffles was fabulous. Pretty much every dish we ordered was generously portioned and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was friendly and personable. I only wish the brunch end was a bit more expansive - was hoping to try some more southern food.

    Nice spot but service was poor and food was not quite hot. Took nearly an hour after getting appetizers to get our entrées. And then they came out cool. Took a while to get drinks too, even though the bar was just 20 feet away. Probably just a poor inattentive server, but expected more given that this place is attached to the Hotel Emma.
