Spaghetti Warehouse - Syracuse
Our dinners were sub par for the normal Spaghetti warehouse. We are frequent guests and were very disappointed during this trip. We drove all the way from Binghamton, NY. 4 of us in a party of 7 order chicken parm and the chicken was way overcooked and rubbery and it had barely any sauce on it at all. We tried not to say much but when my brother asked to have his taken back and replace it with an item that was less expensive, the item was never changed on the bill. There was no one else in the front of the place except for us so I feel that the quality of our meal should have been so much better than it was. This trip definitely made me rethinking weather or not we will make the trip to go there again.
Great dinner food was good waiter was a nice guy. Over all was ok for my Birthday.
Went on Valentine's day for lunch. The server was very nice and had knowledge of the menu. The manager was friendly as well when he came around to check on customers around the restaurant. The drinks were good. The food was mediocre at best. I expected the food to have more quality and taste since the restaurant is called "Spaghetti Warehouse." I don't think I'll return.
The legend of the Spaghetti Warehouse endures! We arrived for lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon, and the hostess marched our party of six straight to the bed-frame ... how cool! Casey was our patient and attentive waitress. Celebrating two birthdays, we lingered over the menu, lingered over our drinks, and lingered over our appetizer trio. And then we dug into our generous entrée plates. Yes, we even took time for shareable desserts. The ambiance is bright and colorful and airy with cheerful service staff. Recommended for just about any occasion, large or small.
Spaghetti Warehouse delivered as always! We had a reservation for 12 and everything was set when we got there. Bread and butter was delivered right after our drink order, soups and salads came out quickly. We all ended up getting the Ultimate Feast for 2 platters and they did not disappoint! Bravo!
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Syracuse. Mainly because they make great lasagna, and I can't make lasagna to save my life. It's the place we go to on my birthday, on Valentine's Day, and any other special occasion when you ask me where I want to go for dinner.
And...there's so much food that we end up taking it home with us to eat for breakfast and lunch on other days. Really...we can't eat as much as they give us in one sitting, so when we come, we bring our own plastic containers with us, knowing that after the bread, the salad, and the appetizer, we'll be stuffed.
Go here. Really.
Celebrating a birthday and our party of 7 had a wonderful time. Food was excellent and the service was outstanding.
Hot, delicious food, great service and great ambiance.
The hostess looked disheveled, her hair was not combed, her clothes were not what you would expect. Dressed in jeans t-shirt & a flannel.
Our waiter was slow & you kept having to ask him to repeat himself
He forgot our order & after waiting over an hour for dinner to be served all 4 meals were served COLD
We brought a 6 year old and a 3 year old and they loved it! There was a magician. He was great! We’ll definitely be back again!
From the minute you open the door. Ohh the wonderful aromas!! Greeted by friendly staff. We were seated right away as did reservation via Open Table. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Our food came hot and so delicious. Very generous portions to the point I was excited to have leftovers for lunch the next day. Pricing was more than reasonable
Would highly recommend
Family weekend for Syracuse U.
This place is really cool! Food was amazing! Only complaints- there were 8 in our party so should have gotten at least two appetizer samplers, and our appetizer plates were dirty (had to send to kitchen for clean plates). Other than that- server was wonderful and our family had a great dinner. Would definitely return when in the area again!
Ordered apps, salad and main course all came out within 5 minutes of each other. Very rushed. Pumpkin ravioli was cold. Sat down at 5:00 pm and our bill was at our table at 5:30. Worst experience ever when you want to have a relaxing meal.
Nothing too fancy but the food was good. Great place for kids
We made reservations for 20 the day before and reduced it to 18 the day of with no issues. We had one waitress but she was fantastic and took great care of us. The food came out fast and I didn’t hear a single complaint from the group. We didn’t feel rushed to leave when we were done eating and stayed and chatted for a bit afterwards. Overall great evening.
Poorly quality barely reheated “restaurant depot” food.
Always good servic & food over the yrs. Been coming to Syr, Ny location since it opened.
Very Nice atmosphere. Great food. Great value. Wish you would invest one in Rochester,NY
The quality of the food was not good. The Caesar salad was limp and the croutons were so hard that a fork could not penetrate. The other entrees were bland.
The service was poor.
One person ordered chicken Alfredo and was served the the spaghetti without the chicken. Our server was no where to be seen so we asked another server to get the chicken. Finally our server came and asked if we needed anything. We told her about the chicken. After a time lapse of ten minutes the chicken was brought out. Needless to say the spaghetti with gelled Alfredo was cold. They took $10 off. That dinner should have been comped.
Also our 3 year old’s straw punctured the styrofoam cup and water was pouring all over the table, chair, and my daughter. Again the server was not in sight. We got another server and asked him for a towel. He cleaned up the water and brought a new chair for her.
We were sadden by our experience because we had been there many times a few years ago and looked forward to our return.
There are better places to eat in Syracuse.
Large portions but the food was just ok. My table and chairs were small and uncomfortable. The railing at the first door and step into the rail car is loose or broken and should be fixed ASAP, my Visually Impaired child needed to use it to go up the steps but couldn’t .
Ok - nothing special
I have been to this restaurant several times over the past 15 years on visits upstate.I feel the food is not up to par as I had known it in the past. One dish came out more cool than hot.Greeter seemed not friendly. The decor has also changed not for the better. Some of the more eclectic items were missing.Maybe that’s why it wasn’t very crowded.I would not return
Floors were sticky do your room all environment felt dirty to me. Food was extremely mediocre. Online menu was not the same as restaurant menu. Online menu was more extensive.
Personally I would not go back there.
party of 2 with reservations - first time visit
We loved the building and the atmosphere. Good food and generous portions at typical prices. Would definitely recommend it and would come again!
Cons: We weren't exactly sure where the parking lot was. We weren't exactly sure where the front door was. Maybe some more signs up by the street and down in the lot would be helpful.
The hostess staff was not warm or friendly or welcoming when we arrived. Did not act like they were happy we came.
I later asked some questions to a different girl at the front desk and her answers were very short and almost rude - like I had inconvenienced her by asking - even though we were the only ones in the lobby!
Our waitress was friendly...but the front desk folks need some hospitality training!
excellent food and service!
Great birthday celebration.
Great service and great food!
We had a large party..with kids.. service was amazing, food was delicious as always and a great time was had by all!
Excellent Italian food . On our recent trip to Syracuse we had lunch here. Great menu with large portions and reasonable prices
Must try the chicken parm , loved it
I urge you not to miss a chance to dine here
Five stars !
I booked through Open Table, with a special request for my mom's 80th birthday. They were very accommodating. made sure to have spumoni ice cream for her, and let me come in early to put up decorations around our booth. In addition, they let us bring our own birthday cake, and had a wheelchair on site for my dad, who has mobility issues. Our server and all the staff we dealt with were great -- cheerful and patient and prompt. As to food -- the portions are huge and everybody left well-satisfied. My favorite thing is their beer chili!
I thought for the price we paid they would use home made spaghetti sauce it tasted like it was out of a can
I had not been to SW in many years. There were 6 of us for lunch on Monday. Food was very good and service was excellent. We had some take out orders too and our server was right on point. I will be going back.
Thank you for the 5 star rating Come see us again.
Recently booked 2 reservations - for myself and a friend and for our teenagers going out for dinner before their 8th grade semi-formal. It used to be that Spaghetti Warehouse was THE place to go - at 6 PM on a Friday night - there was almost no one there. The food was adequate but not great and truly have nothing to brag about. It was sad to see.
I ordered Angel hair pasta with garlic butter sauce, and grilled chicken. The pasta was not angel hair, and there was no butter OR garlic in the sauce. It tasted disgusting. I was very disappointed. However the other people in my party were content with their meals.
Graduation day for my son with 13 people. Seated early, wait staff was attentive, helpful and prompt. Food was hot and delicious.
Mother’s Day dinner. It was nice. Got to sit in a bed booth which we loved. Food was good. Expensive for what it was (pasta).
From the moment we walked in the service was not satisfactory. The girls at the reception were not very friendly. Our waitress was somewhat rude. She forgot people when taking drink and food orders. The food was average. The antipasta salad (special for the day) hardly had any meats or cheese in it. It was mostly just lettuce. The soup was not hotn. Overall, this will be our last visit to this restaurant.
Loved the atmosphere, and the service was great! Would definitely go back if we're in the area.
Based solely on this visit, I would not recommend Spaghetti warehouse to anyone. It took nearly an hour for our food to come out when there was barely 5 tables in the whole place. The calamari was overcooked and rubbery. Our waitress was very lack-luster and unenthusiastic.
