One of the best meals we’ve had in LA!
Reserved for my best friend’s birthday. Requested inside outdoor patio and instead had diner on the street! The host lied to me saying the inside patio is closed. Very disappointed!
Stars for the space which they’ve done a great with during COVID. Food is solid with agnolotti continuing to be a highlight but menu overall is underwhelming for the prices (and I eat out in BH often). Minus 2 stars for the laughably weak drinks. I should subtract another star for those weak drinks but I’ll be generous. I’m on Canon Dr all the time and the drinks here are perhaps the weakest in all of Beverly Hills.
Food was everything we expected it to be. The hamachi crudo with passion fruit was out of this world, just a perfectly balanced dish. Our server was knowledgeable and professional but rarely seen. Given the changes the restaurant has had to make due to COVID-19, the slower service was understandable, but we look forward to returning once we can dine indoors.
It took 45 minutes for the waiter to come to our table.
I went with a 4 of my friends on Thursday night. Great ambience food was average at best. The bread basket was an insult there was barely enough bread for five people since you're paying $18 we shouldn't have to split a slice of bread. I ordered the steak it was ice cold and came out with a few slivers of potatoes it was two extra mini potatoes sliced in half those were also ice cold. The ambience was outstanding in the cul-de-sac. But don't expect good food, you will walk away hungry
Service was horrible! The restaurant is very busy and overrated. They don’t care about the customer. There is no customer service. We order four appetizers ( never brought plates for them) appetizers came after the main course. We told the waiter and he asked “ do you want them or not?” We kept having to ask for water. Waiter never even come to the table once to ask us if everything was good. It’s Unbelievable that after complaining they still did nothing for us. Didn’t even apologized. Another Bad experience at Spago.
Unfortunately not a good experience. We have dined here several times but Mr Wolfgang dropped the ball during the pandemic. There are untrained busboys serving. Our service was disastrous. After being seated no one came to take drink orders. We had to wave down 3 people before the server came. The food didn’t come out at once 1 person waited 10 min after everyone else to get his food. 1 entree never came and we ended up sharing. No apology even though the manager knew us. Our bill was $900 for cold food and below average service!
Great Food, Great Staff all the way around. Thanks for a great donner
A restaurant of great reputation this time around was underwhelming and overpriced
Great meal and service!! Top notch food!
We loved being out so that was great...The food was excellent. I realize that restaurants are short staffed given the current situation but we waited a very long time to get a drink and then after we had our appetizers the main course came too quickly, while we were still having the first course. All that said, we had a lovely time.
Going to Spago’s is always a nice experience. We are going to great job with setting up outside and painting a beautiful mural on the back wall during this pandemic.
Have always liked Spago for special dinners but that night we were so disappointed in the overpriced appetizers..we tried 3 and felt they were definitely overpriced and not that good..
Main course was fine but overall I think we’ve had less expensive and excellent meals elsewhere..
The service was pretty bad! The service was extremely slow! Not worth it!
It was excellent start to finish.
They haven’t made the transition to Covid times. Service poor and not to the normal standard. Value for a high end offering is not there.
Excellent First Date!
Absolutely fantastic loved everything and our waiter was very informative and helpful.
Wonderful experience! They’ve created a bistro like feel on the street to comply with COVID. It felt very safe & was clear they were taking precautions. Food was great & service was outstanding. Highly recommend!
Spago remains a true "dining experience". The food was outstanding, and the service was very attentive. It's so refreshing to find a restaurant that treats customers in a way that is both respectful and kind with perfect attention to every detail.
Unfortunately, the heat wave made it a less than perfect experience. I would suggest the installation of fans in the outdoor dining areas. This is a popular feature in open air restaurants around the world, and would add comfort to the dining areas.
Thanks for a memorable evening!
My wife always enjoy spago but this glamming event was very fun and special- also the whole duck was exceptional
Just me and my Love.
Nice and decent food but overpriced
Everything was wonderful. Did not like sitting outside on the street but that’s not SPAGO’s fault.
It was a great atmosphere. The food and service was great. Chef Puck came personally to greet each guest at the restaurant. It made us feel very welcome. It was a perfect birthday dinner for my wife. We enjoyed everything and every minute. We are hardly waiting to go back. Thanks to Chef Puck for a great evening.
Had a great first experience at Spago! Amazing food, price was great and the service was outstanding! We will be back
Wolfgang and his team continue to do an amazing job of consistently delivering the highest quality food and overall service at Spago Beverly Hills.
Spago is always a ten out of ten. The service is outstanding! The cuisine is divine! Wolfgang Puck is a living legend!
Amazing. Wolfgang even came by and said HI to us!
