Spago - Beverly Hills
I always love going to Spago. I have loved it opened up on Sunset. I am not a native Angelino, but when I spend time in LA I always make a point to go there.
Consistently excellent. I always start with the smoked salmon pizza which is superb. Amazing wine list.
We had the honor of having the icon Wolfgang Puck stop by our table and say hello and he was gracious enough to take a photo with our family. When they found out we were celebrating my wife's birthday, the entire staff made sure to make her feel very special. That's how you build a world class brand! He's not only an amazing chef, but a gracious gentlemen! Best food in Beverly Hills in my opinion and the people scene is great!
Really bad service
Way too loud. Need to turn the music down
The service was great!!!
And we felt very safe with the Covid precautions being taken at Spago.
Perfect evening without covid angst. Loved the 'baalcony table',food and service.
Nice to know some treats haven't lost it in these weird times. Hope to see you soon.
We were able to get a same day reservation at Spago for the wife, kids and I. We were initially concerned about going to Spago with our little ones (3 and 5 years old) not knowing how kid friendly they would be!
Soon as we got there, the hosts were super sweet and engaging with the little ones, they seemed absolutely enchanted with my baby girl.
We were seated outside but there were plenty of heat lamps to keep us warm. Tables were all socially distanced and staff were masked the entire time. COVID precautious were top notch.
I ordered an extra dirty martini w/3 olives and 2 cocktail onions. It was honestly the best martini I've ever had. Most restaurants/bars don't have the cocktail onions which usually disappoints me but Spago delivered.
Right before our appetizers arrived, we were delighted to have Mr. Wolfgang Puck himself stop by our table to chat. WOW! He highly recommended the tartare for starters which we agree is truly delicate and delicious with the fresh Quail Egg as garnish. Wolfgang seemed enchanted by our children and the kids had fun chatting with him as well!
For entree, the wife got the sea bass and I ordered the New York Strip and both were among the best we've ever had. For the kids we ordered the Mickey Mouse pizza which they were delighted to dig into!
Yes, it's expensive but great staff, great food, great drinks, great company and the most iconic restauranteur ever, who still loves what he does and it shows. Overall one of the best dining experiences I've ever had and I'm happy to share that they're also family friendly! Highly recommended.
We LOVE Spago! It’s our go to restaurant in LA! To be served by Conrad and have the honor of speaking with the great Wolfgang as well was a true treat!
Always great food, in my opinion the most consistent restaurant in LA ( and we dine out every single night) Spago never disappoints.
Mr and Mrs Lewis
Really nice that during Covid-19, Wolfgang Puck still comes out and says hello to the guests at dinner time. The food is amazing as always!
My wife has never been to Spago and I wanted to make sure her 50th birthday was memorable! We were not disappointed. All of the staff were exceptional! The meal was incredible!
Excellent in all respects. We've been going for decades and it never fails to impress.
Spago is World Famous with no question but you would think that the servers would be more attentive through out the meal. Our server was great at the beginning but as it got busy I actually had to get up and track someone down to order another drink and get some lemon slices!! This is outside dining on the sidewalk in front of the actual restaurant, but still these people need to check back once in awhile!! Also beware, don’t ask for anything extra!! They even charge you for an extra pat of butter!!
Spago was a great experience. Service was very good, we also got lucky and got to sit in the courtyard which is very pretty. I would definitely go back.
It was lovely and they took great precautionary measures.
Always a great treat to go to Spago
The food was outstanding, and the service was excellent.
My wife and I have been Reguler spago goers since they opened. Unfortunately we felt very Unwelcomed by the staff and server on our last visit. This might be the last we go unless management and servers change of attitude is applied towards there customers Whether it’s first time or 100th Sad good luck.
Birthday. Beautiful outside area
It is always a special treat to enjoy the scrumptious creations of Chef Wolfgang. Laurent is the consummate host. The meal, of course, was sensational. The setting was lovely and the traditional opportunity to kibbitz with Chef, makes it another night to remember, forever. Thank You!
Nice ambience great food – an escape from the typical Covid dining experience.
Just phenomenal!!Thank you WP
Service was great and we were put in a nicely physically separated location. Amid the Covid challenges I was pleased with all the measures they took; and also pleased to have met Byron Puck, the 25year-old son of Wolfgang Puck. He told me of the many technologies and new filters in the HVAC to have more cleaner air.
On the other hand, the bathroom was borderline acceptable. Only one stall and it was dirty as if not cleaned frequently. Mens restroom was very dark and with the decor just an ominous vibe.
All in all I love Spago for the history and ambience and will check if an upgraded bathroom has been done on future visits.
Hair in the food - multiple courses. Food overcooked four out of six entrees. Then the replacements come raw. Staff seemed fairly unfazed. Spago has definitely lost their position as a top restaurant in Los Angeles. After dining there for 30 years, this may have been my last visit
Everything was spot on - food/ service and quality. A little noisy because you are sitting outside, but well worth it.
Food and service was great as always! This place never seems to disappoint! Wine was exceptional as well
i enjoyed the experience, however my chair was not even close to being level to the ground, the table was low, food was good, not amazing, and service was lack luster. waited 20 minutes to get my car back from a $15 valet. overall not worth the $400 dinner for 2 and probably would not come back. wolfgang came to our table though which was sweet of him. but seemed more out of obligation than actually excited to greet those that were dining in the restaurant that night.
My son birthday . Was wonderful as always
AMAZING! first time going and will definitely be going back
