Krystal was helping us. She was amazing and very welcoming.
Perfect location after a tour of the Biltmore house! Delicious food and excellent service!
Both food and service were amazing! What a great way to make your visits to Biltmore even more special.
We spent a few days in Asheville and of course a trip to Biltmore goes without saying, this was my third time at Biltmore and this restaurant. The food is always fresh and delicious. The service by everyone is impeccable. Highly recommend making a reservation and including lunch here during your day at Biltmore.
Came in for lunch, made reservations online. Wasn’t able to make for 4, went early and hostess accommodated us! Food is always perfect and service is wonderful!
Good meal, service was great, high attention to COVID reg’s.
Our food was terrific and our server, Donna was super attentive and engaging... wonderful experience
As always, the food was excellent, the service was fabulous and the surroundings are so comfortable you can kick back and relax with your friends.
Great food, but we ate close to closing and our server seemed exhausted!
Food was excellent. We had the fried pickles, salmon and salad with berries and goat cheese. There are Vegan options, too.
We were so looking forward to eating at the Biltmore. This was an anniversary lunch. We were hoping for dinner, but the only time we could get in was 11:15am. They sat us at a large wooden table near the kitchen (not pretty) and the place was empty. We thought this was the only place they were seating people (no one in booths at the time) so we stayed. Later they sat people at the booths. Didn't move because of COVID stuff. I ordered the short ribs and I was so excited because they looked beautiful, but they were tasteless and more fatty than short ribs should be. My husband said the burger was good. We got a chocolate and peanut butter tart for dessert. It was delicious, but we found a black curly hair embedded in the middle of it as we were sharing. We had eaten half but that was it for us. They did give us our money back for the dessert and the manager came over to ask if he could do anything. The service was good. Unfortunately the overall experience was not great.
The food was extremely good, I love the whole farm to table concept. It was such a unique experience to eat in a converted stable. I loved it.
Due to Covid they were accommodating and allowed us to sit on second floor in the loft part of the restaurant . We had to pick up the food downstairs . I ordered a salad and devil eggs. Definitely not what I expected. Food was fair . Will not recommend maybe try one of the other restaurants or the market cafe . Also founded it a bit pricey !!!
Visiting estate - our waiter Scott was wonderful
The service was excellent, as was the food, the ambience, and of course the horse stall seating. We have eaten here before and plan to again.
Wonderful dining experience right on the Estate property. Reservations are a must. Casual attire is fine. Biltmore Wines are wonderful. Highly recommend!
I ordered the trout which came out barley warm. The entree was overpriced for what you got and wasn’t very good. My granddaughter ordered the BLT and it was just ok. However the desserts were delicious. Pricey for what you got. But it was at Builtmore.
Wonderful experience to dine in the renovated horse stables! It was fun and the food was enjoyable. The service was above my initial expectations. I would recommend during your Biltmore visit for an authentic experience.
Wonderful lunch!!! The food was awesome, our waitress was excellent and the guidelines they have in place due to Covid made me feel very safe and comfortable!!!! We made a reservation and even got seated a little sooner! We will be back!
This was our first time at the Biltmore and at this restaurant. The waitress got my kids’ order wrong but she seemed to not be in the greatest mood so we just didn’t mention anything. The kids’ breaded chicken tenders were disgusting! I never ever say food is terrible but my daughter had me try it and it tasted like the oil they used was very used and old and it didn’t have a tan brown exterior more of a dirty brown color on the outside. Not sure what’s going on by they should have a “chef” or worker try the food before serving it especially to children. My husbands meal was good (I believe he got the steak in medium rare) and mine was the chicken which was fine but I feel terrible the kids waited all day for our 2:30pm late lunch and their food was bad! They forgot my daughter’s side and gave her the same thing her brother ordered and they forgot condiments we had asked for during ordering. Doubtful we’d eat there again when we visit the Biltmore again.
We were 15 minutes late and they kept our table for us. Great service there and great food too!
A trip to Biltmore is never complete without lunch at the stable. Our family dined there last year during after the Christmas candlelight tour and it was beautiful the manager Maurice is awesome very personable And takes the extra time to talk with people at the tables. Would highly recommend dining there during your visit to Biltmore.
Food was delicious! We love sitting upstairs at the Stable Cafe as it seems to be less crowded and less noisy.
As always, the service was excellent! I think our server's name was Kia and she was so polite and attentive.
We wanted the pimento cheese and croistinis as an appetizer and even though it wasn't on the menu, she was kind enough to ask if our request could be accommodated and it was! We were so excited! It was delicious and a great way to start our meal.
Great server who helped resolve our issues! I definitely recommend this place.
I have to say, the only highlights of our brunch were the Rose Gin and Tonic and the vinegar based BBQ sauce. I had the seasonal succotash which was very bland and under cooked.
We had the best time eating at the Stable Cafe. It was our everyone's first time and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our waitress was the sweetest person and took care of our every need. The food and wine were delish! Can't wait to come back.
Hearty meals for lunch but very good and the meat is sourced from the biltmore farms. Paula was our server and was great all around. Great ambiance and adds to the history of the biltmore.
Amazing, pure Southern hospitality. Adjacent to Biltmore House. Definitely make a reservation.
Service was excellent and food was delicious!!!
Butternut squash soup was wonderful. The heine tasting of three you pick 3 Oz tastes was best for price
The food was just mediocre and the price too high. Atmosphere was wonderful!
The food was fresh and served promptly. Our server, Paula, was excellent. Very friendly and kept our drinks topped off. The one downside is you have to pay an entry fee to get on Biltmore Estate property.
Whit was a fine server.
All the social distancing respected.
Super convenient after visiting Biltmore House
We had a great meal followed by Bilt’smores for dessert. Such a rich, and decadent dessert.
Delicious food. Loved the ambiance of the Stables.
My husband & I enjoyed our visit to the Stable Cafe. The Hamburger and Corn Chowder were outstanding. Also, we were thrilled they had Tabasco Sauce available.
Great food and great waiter. Would definitely go there again.
I’m glad to have made reservations! It was a steady volume of patrons for a Tuesday. The server was very nice. The deviled eggs were delicious. We had a burger and tuna salad sandwich. Both were delicious and temperature appropriate. The blackberry sangria and peach sangria were also very delicious. We sadly had to skip on the s’mores tart because we were so full! Would recommend. Would return.
We were pleasantly surprised.........the food was really good and the overall experience was very cool. Eating in the old horse strables was a treat. You must see all the old pictures !
