   Lovely meal out, steaks cooked to perfection, and we got a fab deal on food also. Service was a little slow, especially as the restaurant was quiet, but everyone was super polite and helpful nonetheless. Overall happy customer.

   Everything was outstanding, food was delicious. We didn’t know how to use the tools to crack the lobster, the waiter helped. As it was our anniversary they put rose petals on the table and gave us a free desert saying “happy anniversary” on the plate. Value for money was really good too! 2 starters, 3 mains, 2 cocktails, 2 brandy’s, 1 dessert and a couple extras less than £200! Highly recommended.

    The food was good, decent portions sizes too. However the AC was so cold (it’s winter by the way) and it only got more the further into the meal we got. My partner and I were both cold.

    The food was cold I was made out like I didn't have enough money to pay when it was the waiter who messed up at the with the payment by chopping the receipt in to parts then said I needed to pay more when in fact he needed to give me money back. I was looking forward to going to that restaurant for many years only to be disappointed.

    Very spacious. Finally, a quiet restaurant where you can actually enjoy the food and hear the people at your table. The food was just amazing, from starter to dessert. Moreover, when booking the table I specified it was for a birthday, and they surprised us with a little birthday treat, candle and all, which I thought was very thoughtful.

    The blackened beef salad is exactly what I wanted. Crispy but still tender, nicely seasoned. The meat portion is also quite generous, almost a thin slice of steak. The balsamic mustard dressing is a little oily but still tastes refreshing overall. The lobster is lovely with the lemon garlic. No need for salt and pepper. Not a big one, but the flesh is tender and plump. The staff are friendly and caring. Thanks to the lady for confirming if I really want two salads as starter and as a side instead of one side salad and a dessert, but yes, all the way to detox.

    It al started with the prosseco that arrived during the first course. The lobster was old and felt like chewing gum. The four course meal was an 3 course meal. Overall I would NOT recommended this place.

    Atmosphere was great and service was good— the only downside was the limited menu. Most everyone in the family are meat eaters so I chose this restaurant for a holiday dinner. What I didn’t realize is that there were few other options…no chicken, no real kids menu for a toddler. It was steak or vegan Philly cheese steak…for a 4 year old…ah, hmmm? I ended up eating the fettuccine Alfredo with lobster which was very good.

    My family dined in this restaurant for Christmas. Upon paying our bill for drinks I was charged an additional fee for discretionary service. I understand I need to pay this fee for drinks but not in addition to what I pre paid for our lunch. My booking confirmation clearly states as follows “the price listed includes all taxes, fees and service charges”. When questioning this with the manager, he said that’s not correct and I must pay. Without making a scene I paid this and left. However, I am totally unsatisfied with this as the booking clearly stated this was included. What was a lovely lunch to start with turned out to be a very disappointing day for us. I am not prepared to pay for service fees twice. I would appreciate you looking into this further for me and then organise a refund for this fee immediately.

    The atmosphere was a bit lacking while it was early. The staff were friendly however massively upsold on items and unfortunately was over charged despite the ‘discount’ from booking with Open Table. The starter and Main were a good standard, the desert could have been better. The cocktails were amazing. The ambience could have been better with music and lighting.

    My partner and I chose to celebrate a very special occasion at this venue. I requested that the table be dressed romantically but nothing was done. The service itself was lacklustre with several waiters walking around aimlessly. When asked if they could do small things like provide a drink menu they would tell you your waiter would be with you soon. For the food I had the surf and turf combo with an upgrade to a fillet steak. The steak wasn’t cooked medium rare it was almost blue in places. It also hadn’t been seasoned or seared enough because it lacked flavour. I had to send it back to be cooked some more. When it came back, what was the inside (blue) had been seared slightly but when cut open was still blue. At this point I just ate it because it was simpler than trying to get it cooked medium rare. The lobster itself was fine, the tail was good as was the chimichurri butter it was drowning in. Chips were very crispy which was good. For dessert I ordered the mason jar which was very disappointing. It was a few small cubes of fudge and a few small cubes of brownie in the bottom of a mason jar with two scoops of ice cream. It’s disappointing when you can see more empty space in the jar than dessert. The two cocktails we tried were very nice. The hazel old fashioned and the rum punch

    We opted for the 3 course set menu which was advertised at £36 pp, but it was actually £40 pp once we got there. We ordered a bottle of wine, the menu only had 2 prices for wines so we assumed the higher price was for a bottle which we got. The bill said the bottle was £38 when the menu said £28 but apparently the £28 price was for the Carafe size, that wasn’t mentioned on the menu.. we estimated to pay a max of £50 each before going and ended up paying £63 each. This was a bit much for food that was sub par. Atmosphere also did not feel like a restaurant, more a hotel breakfast area with many lights flickering every now and then.

    Food tasted fantastic but it came really cold on both our plates. The entire meal was barely room temp which was extremely disappointing given how much we paid. I wish I’d said something but I was so hungry I didn’t. Only let down to a really nice meal and restaurant.

    the lobster was from the fridge, wet, no taste at all, the meat had no texture / limp / no bite, never ate lobster like this anywhere, did i mention wet? my plate was full of water dripping out of the lobster…

    Food was very very tasty we loved it! However I would suggest they have the decor re done as it is quite dark in there and I didn't think the decor reflected the price, so I didn't feel there was any ambiance at all.

    Wouldn’t cook my father in law of 96 some fried onions, they must have a full blown kitchen, even a down and out cafe would cook some fried onions, I think that says it all , the steak was fine, we had 2 full lobsters and another half a lobster, sorry poor hardly any meat other than the claws, the french fries not nice , not a good experience, will not be returning. The venue ok , the overall experience I’m afraid was very poor,
