Very fine cuisine! Our waiter, Steven, was one of the most amazing servers we had! I truly enjoyed our food, waiter, and experience. Please address the noise level. Thanks!
Great Food. Great service. Great atmosphere.
We can’t wait to go back
I found the restaurant dirty the minute I walked, there were crumbs all over the floor and they had just opened for the day.
Cocktails are fantastic, but this is no longer a tapas restaurant. Now it’s “American Tapas,” which means appetizers and appetizer prices. Gone are the days of sampling several small plates. Too bad! Good thing a new tapas restaurant just opened down the street.
It was a Wednesday evening and we chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was attentive and made the best Espresso Martini I have ever had. The menu was small but we still felt that we had plenty to choose from. There was no live music that night but that was fine with us. I liked this place because it was small, quiet and there were no kids. It's a great place for adults to have a date night. We are definitely going back again soon.
Great dinner & very accommodating!
Known for good mixed drinks - but always has a wonderful mix of tapas to share - and intriguing specials. Easy to locate and the usual Downtown Nashua warmth!
Love this place for a yummy martini and tapas are great. Little pricey but it’s a little swanky of a place so it’s ok. Our service wasn’t great but I think it was our waitress that just wasn’t great. It’s great though and the music was a great additive. Love the dumplings!
Menu has something to please everyone, food is well prepared. Cozy ambiance, friendly staff. A bit expensive for what you get but not unreasonable for a nice evening. Restaurant is well managed, stable and a great addition to the Nashua dining/entertainment scene. Certainly will go back.
This was our first time at Stella Blu. After being seated, the owner came over & introduced himself, and welcomed us to the restaurant. We started with some great cocktails, and then ordered a few rounds of food! Our server was friendly & attentive. The menu is perfect for sharing. Every dish we ordered was delicious! We will definitely be back!!
Great night and our server was exceptional.
Food was pricey for what you got. Only enjoyed 1 out of 4 plates we ordered.
Our table was ready as soon as we arrived (and we were a few minutes early). Our server was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and was able to suggest some amazing drinks based on our preferences. Never felt rushed and our server quickly noticed when our drinks were running low. Food was delicious and served piping hot. Live music was a nice touch but didn’t over-power conversation at the table.
Great food & service. The cocktails were well balanced & well made. Tasty food, great spread of different food options.
Stella Blu is a great place for date night. The food is delicious, staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is just right. Love the selection of small plates mixed in with full size meals. The bartenders are incredible. Best drinks around!
Great place!! Waitresses were awesome as was the food! Live band was great but a little too loud. Would recommend to anyone and can’t wait until I go again!!
great set up... solid amount of tapas to choose from. went for my brothers bday
We had just finished doing (and paying) our federal income taxes and decided to try Stella Blu. What an amazing experience, we completely forgot about our taxes.
We were quickly seated at the type of table we requested and greeted by an excellent server (PM?). He knew the menu extremely well, made excellent recommendations and quickly brought our drink orders. My wife enjoys a well made espresso martini and it was perfect. I enjoyed a delicious Basil Hayden on the rocks.
Stella Blu serves a variety of small plate dishes that range across multiple types of cuisine. We started with an excellent eggplant rollatini , tender, juicy and delicious Kobe Sliders and (a special that evening) perfect crab cakes (just the right amount of crab). Of course, we went back for more - another helping of that amazing rollatini, the flavorful Italian Meatballs (because that Italian sauce was so sweet and delicious) and the Spicy Sriracha Stella Wings (a heaping portion). The second round was just as good as the first!
All this was followed up by the fresh made, hot and delicious Stella Donuts.
The plates came fast and hot out of the kitchen, perfectly timed. Our server was engaging, friendly and knowledgeable. In short, the service was excellent.
We will be back very soon. The menu seems to change from time to time and there is so much yet to explore! If you're looking for a casual evening for two or twelve, Stella Blu is an excellent choice.
Yes--but I would warn fiends who have been there before that the menu has been significantly reduced.
Cocktails were creative and good. Mixed reviews on food. Kobe sliders were the best of out tapas. Seafood dishes were okay. The seafood itself, shrimp and calamari was not as fresh as it should be.
We really enjoyed the dining experience, staff was excellent, the food/drink choices plentiful. We will be back again.
This was our 4th time at Stella Blu, and as always the food was excellent and the service outstanding. We were sorry to see the loss of the few large plates they offered in the past (and which still appeared on the OpenTable menu), but there was still a wide and varied selection of small plates. Our one concern was the noise level; the bar that night had attracted an unusually loud group of patrons, and even when we mentioned it to our server, she seemed unwilling to address the issue. The result was that we had a hard time conversing, and it was just two of us. I would imagine a party of four would find it even more difficult. But the food, both quality and as a hard-to-find small plate offering, will bring us back.
Great double birthday party!
This was a staple restaurant a few years ago...the current menu is far more limited and the food quality seems OK but has dropped off the high standard I recalled. In the past there were more salad options as well as a far broader range of small plates.
This seems to have turned into much more of a gathering place for apps and drinks rather than a place to dine.
A great night out with my son to celebrate his birthday, the waiter was fabulous....he got a good read on how much interaction we wanted and respected that....the food was very good...we went the small plate sharing route....drinks were very good as well.
I very specifically asked for a table and not a high top table. I was given a high top and when I said I had requested a table was told none were available despite seeing 2 setup empty. Service was poor at best. Had to ask not once or twice but three separate times for pepper. Will be my last experience at Stella Blu, that is for sure.
Great cicktails and variety of food items to chose from. Loved the live music and casual environment. Excellent service.
First time there. Will go back more often. Great menu, cool environment, perfect music and sound level.
Stella Blu had been a favorite restaurant for my wife and I to celebrate special occasions. A few year ago they changed their tapas-only menu to include several entrees and we left greatly disappointed - some of our favorite tapas were no longer on the menu, and the entrees were not unique.
We decided to return last weekend after reading some good reviews and were glad that we did! The tapas menu was expanded (although not as great as it once was) and we ordered many different dishes and they were all excellent! We forgot how good the fresh baked donuts were for dessert! The music on weekends is acoustic-based and serves as a great background while dining or if you are just enjoying some drinks. Speaking of, Stella Blu's bartenders concoct amazing drinks with good attention to the details. Highly recommended!
Arancini were good. The humus dish being unavailable seemed odd. The trout was bland. Chicken slider was served without aioli. Seated by the front window, we were cold and, of course, the music made it difficult to talk. Sidewalk in front of door was icy. Dans l’ete, peut-etre?
Very good and great atmosphere
I noticed some changes in the menu. There were several items removed from the gluten free and regular menus. The food tastes great but I'm really disappointed about the menu selection.
Great food (tapas), music on the weekends, outstanding servers and bartenders, what more could you ask for? Great asset in downtown Nashua!!
We had a reservation and they sat us right by the entrance when there were other better tables out back. It was freezing the entire time as people came and went. It took an hour for our food to come out after ordering and the food was not great. They also jacked up the prices for Valentine's day. The prices online for the same items on their menu were 2-3 dollars less than the menu they gave us. The waiter was doing the best he could considering they were short staffed. I tipped him well but we won't be going back here and I don't recommend this place to anyone unless you like waiting forever and overpaying for mediocre food.
Everything was great. The table up front that we sat at was cold every time someone walked in. Other than that, it’s great.
Loved the atmosphere and food and service was excellent! We’d go again!
As good as ever. Britney was our server and she was great.
With 2 in our party having Celiac Disease, Stella Blu easily and willingly accommodated our Gluten Free needs.
It was really fun to be able to try so many different things because of the small plates. We shared everything. We started by ordering 3 things and then ordered more. Food was excellent.
Our reservation was for 8:30, we arrived at 8:15, understanding our table wasn’t/shouldn’t be ready. They said it would be soon. We stood at the bar and ordered drinks. At 9:15 we finally gave up on the table and ordered food at the bar. Staff was nice and all but our reservation was never full filled and I think someone should have acknowledged that and offered alternatives or encouraged us to settle in at the bar earlier. This was our first time there.
