Stoneburner

Our waitress seemed lost and didn't even introduce herself. She simply plopped the glasses of water down and said hi. I had to ask if she was our waitress because she acted more like a busperson. She also didn't remember to tell us about the specials. Empty glasses and dishes were left on our table the entire time we were seated, which was bizarre, given that it wasn't that busy. The saving grace was the server, who was clearly way more alert than our waitress.

Nice place for small plates, a little pricey. Great servers, entertaining.

First time. Excellent food and great service. We loved the Asparagus Caesar, seafood stew, octopus too!

Stoneburner never disappoints. I love their charcuterie and their pastas and veggies. There are so many good choices!!

Excellent brunch! We shared several dishes and all were excellent....as was the service!

My partner and I went to Seattle for a weekend away to celebrate his birthday, my graduation and to just have a nice little weekend getaway. I did research on restaurants because I wanted to guarantee a nice place to sit and enjoy a nice meal the two of us and Stoneburner seemed like a perfect fit. The restaurant was nice, the service was spectacular and the food was yummy. Our server was friendly and personable and had he did the perfect amount of checking up on us and also letting us be. I think he was really good at reading body language and the table- he knew when to ask for another drink, take plates away... etc.
Overall we really enjoyed our dinner. I think the only thing that could have been changed was the temperature of the restaurant. It was absolutely freezing- I was wearing a dress and had to use my jacket as a blanket to try to warm up. I enjoyed the garage doors being open, but it was so cold and by the time we were done they were closing them.

Amazing food, wonderful service and the perfect location to celebrate our anniversary.

evertyhing was great but service . Our server took about 15 minutes to greet us. Very impersonal service , did not introduce himself, did not ask if we had been there before ...classic order taker. Other tables seemed to have a better experience with waitstaff . I think he may have been in another part of the restaurant ..we barely saw him at all. Everything else was great and rest of waitstaff very hospitable ..I still tipped him well but he was the worst !!!!!

I made my reservation for an 8pm dinner date on a Thursday. I asked for a booth and to be seated away from the front door if possible. I was seating in a joke of a booth seat about 20 feet away from the wide open front door. At least they had a table inside? I felt like my reservation preferences were laughed at and not even considered. Already off to a terrible start. The assistant who greeted us was friendly and the waiter arrived in good time afterwards. Though his service was pleasantly mediocre I felt I had to stop him walking past to order my entree and dessert courses and also stop him for the next round of drinks. Dinner was worthwhile but not something I would return for. My tab was about $180, I left a $45 cash tip which was way more than the waiter deserved. I hope that it was at least declared so it would be shared with those his tips are split with

Stoneburner is one of our favorite places in Ballard. We really appreciate the quality of the food, originality of the menu, and the great service. Their pizzas are fantastic of course, but everything is just very well done.

Stoneburner's food is always delicious. Service is friendly and impeccable. We dined outdoors and the space was well heated. I love the menu and vibe of this place!

So good to be back at our favorite spot!!! Everything was exceptional as usual. Outdoor dining was super comfortable and warm even with the rainy Seattle weather.

Wonderful meal and excellent service. They were a bit backed up, so plan a long dinner and make sure to get some of their yummy apps to hold you over!

We asked to have the music turned down and they did. The staff was friendly and helpful in suggestions. The food was very innovative and excellent.

We had an outstanding experience at Stoneburner. We were celebrating a special occasion and the ambiance and the service here really made our day feel extra special. The COVID policies here were excellent. We dined indoors and I really appreciated the plexiglass barriers between our table and those next to it. It felt safe and the precautions didn't take away from the experience. Our food was delicious. I highly recommend partaking in their charcuterie menu. Our server also gave us great recommendations on food options and helped guide me towards the perfect drink to match what I described I was looking for. Overall I can't say enough good things about Stoneburner. We will be back soon!

The folks waiting tables and running the bar are always great. In fact, the bartender, Eric, is one of the best in town.

Pizzas and cocktails were great. I will definitely go back!

Charred broccoli was too salty. Gnocchi entre was appetizer sized. Dutch potatoes were fabulous. Long wait between appetizers and entrees.

Absolutely incredible dining experience. I would give it 16 stars if I could. 100% will come back. I wish I could eat here every single day!!

We had the best time! Our server was extremely kind and accommodating to a gluten, dairy, and egg allergy in our party. He made sure our food was 100% safe, and it was EXTREMELY delicious. Definitely recommend the Trumpet mushroom appetizer!

Always count on an amazing experience at Stoneburner. The food is always so good and the service is 5 stars! My go to when guests are in from out of town and want to experience one of the best neighborhood restaurants.

A charming atmosphere with delicious food. Just what your looking for !

I told the server that the portions for the price were outrageous. She said the chef was “very particular” which I assume meant that justified the price? I ordered a $15 salad that I could have eaten in 4 bites. Very pretty, tasty, but not a meal.

My wife and I love Stoneburner. It is our favorite restaurant. We don't normally go to the same place twice, but we've been there five times in the last 2 years and we love it every time.

Amazing food!

Portions ridiculously small for the price. We did let our waiter know this complaint and he comped us an appetizer. Very kind of him but probably wouldn’t come back. Just not worth the price.

It was good, miss the octopus, pizza was good though! Burrata was great app

Great food. Drinks are not so great. Stick with wine and food and you won't go wrong!
