It was a great experience to celebrate a birthday. Food was really good and the vibe was amazing. The goblet was really good, the kids enjoyed it very much. They laso loved their rainbow sliders.
We went for my sons bday!! He loves the drinks, which are amazing!!
Delicious food, drinks and great service! Would definitely recommend!
The food and drinks were perfect for the 11 year old birthday girl. A little much for her 2 year old cousin. Adults were keeping an eye on the check. It was flavorful and adventurous.
The charge a 20 percent service charge no matter what. So basically it’s the tip. The candy is the same as three years ago. Less candy due to virus. Pancakes (for my child) 3 of them nothing fancy no whip was $14.00. No kids menu at all.
It was my daughters birthday, we drive from Michigan. I requested due to the weather could we have indoor seating, they did not attempt to make an adjustment. Indoor was full we had to go outside. I paid $200, to sit outside, when we came for the full experience. The service was great, food not worth $200. Seating outside disappointing.
Sugar factory is about the experience. Very nice place for women and girls to celebrate. The food is very tasty, but the sugar experience is outstanding. Make sure you bring your appetite because the portion sizes are huge.
Our waitress was extremely rude to us but friendly and outgoing with every other table.
I love my waitress she was very nice. And the food was well seasoned. I asked for salt and pepper and didn’t need it.
My children love celebrating their birthday’s!
Very expensive food that is average at best I had the rainbow sliders and they were 25 dollars for average sliders that weren’t anything special we also had one of the drinks it was good but not worth 36 dollars would not recommend going here service was average at best the place itself was cheaply made again wouldn’t recommend going here
The customer service was good. The food was simply okay, its nothing that I would go back for. The goblet drink and classic shakes was the best part of the whole visit. For the hefty price tag and 20% tip already added to the bill I expected a more flavorful experience. So overall this is not somewhere that I would visit again.
It was terrible. Very confusing where to check in for reservations. We waited quite a while for a server. Prices were double what was shown on Open table app, and an automatic 20% charge to be added. After watching servers pass us by, not one stopping and having the music raised from loud to ear splitting volume, we left and went elsewhere. Would not recommend at all.
Loved the ambiance but didn’t like the automatic 20% gratuity for a party of four!
Love it!! Took my 9yo daughter for her birthday. First time ever. The look of amazement on her face was priceless. Great service, great food, great desserts. Thank you for making my girl the happiest little girl ever!
Amazing drinks and the spinach artichoke dip is amazing! The staff was attentive and the restaurant was super clean.
We were in Chicago for the weekend, it was our five year anniversary! We wanted to try the Sugar Factory. It was loud, guests were dancing, twerking on each other. Very loud and inappropriate!
Food was OK. Expected more from the overall experience for the price.
Highly recommend. I went for my 21st bday and enjoyed it all . I will be returning
We made a reservation for my daughter's Sweet 16, however, we had to wait for a table anyhow. We were seated outside at a red pleather booth, directly in the sun. 4 of us were bearing it, but my son was just dripping sweat after a couple of minutes. I noticed that there were several tables available indoors, so I politely asked if we could be moved,( we were ALL ordering ice cream as well). The blond boy at the register was very accommodating and informed me that a couple of tables inside were opening up and they would come move us once available. A few minutes later, a tall guy with brown hair came and told us that he needed to make sure it was alright with the server that we be moved. He came back and said that we can move and took us inside, telling us we can sit at a specific table because the booth had been reserved. They also brought my daughter the wrong order, but at least they didn't charge us for that. A little into eating my sundae, I bit into a hard piece of plastic but didn't bother to complain because the service was horrible so I doubt it would have mattered.
So, all in all it was a bad experience. There's no reason to make a reservation here because they will not honor it, give your table to another party if none are available, and make you wait. We would've spent so much more time and money here if our reservation had been honored. What a birthday bummer.
the food and drinks were great and service was amazing just a little over priced
Very nice host!!! He was very accurate, polite & his energy was very positive!!!
It was the best experience out to eat in a long time, I really enjoyed my melt and so did my family
The Food was not good at all for the prices that we paid. The macaroni was tasteless, my chicken and waffles were both burnt and the mashed potatoes were cold.
Very good but the drinks are very expensive considering what you are getting.
My experience was great, food was great and service was great. The manager Glenda really helped me in a time of distressed where she could have been very rude and not understanding however she was very professional and helpful.
Appetizers (sliders) are good but definitely overpriced. Our server did not seem experienced. She was nice, but the service we received was not commensurate with the gratuity automatically included due to our party size. Overall, it the atmosphere helped us celebrate my husband's birthday, but I would have changed a few things. Recommendation: when a party orders the King Kong (I believe that's the name), it would be awesome to choose the song that's played.
Sons Golden Birthday
We have eaten at a couple sugar factory and really enjoyed it. This was not the experience we had at the Rosemont Sugar Factory. First it was really humid in the restaurant and the floor was wet. They sprinkled a white powder all over the floors and turned on floor blowers to try to dry the floor. This was disgusting anyway, but worrisome during the time of Covid. I asked our waitress to turn the blowers off and they were eventually. We had a shower curtain to block us from the next table which would be fine but it wasn’t anchored on the bottom so it kept hitting us in the head. Also the we had children with us who ordered shakes and the condiments that came with them looked old and freezer burnt. It was the worst meal ever. Especially for the fortune paid at this restaurant to eat there.
Nice place a little pricey but worth it will come back
We had reservations for 7p for our party of 7 and were seated outdoors with the sun blasting in our faces. We were there to celebrate our daughter’s 14th birthday. We were all sweating and miserable in the corner booth as there was no air circulation at all. Even a fan blowing would have been helpful. We asked to be reseated but they were so extremely busy that we were told it could take a while to get another table. Since we had already waited 25 min past our reservation time to begin with we decided to try and make the best of it. We noticed two tables of 4 open right out front next to the sidewalk and asked to move there and we would just split our group up. At least the wind was blowing out there and made for a more enjoyable dinner. Just a bummer we had to split up as we put all the girls at one table and my husband and I sat at the other table and would walk back and forth to our daughter’s table.
I was so disappointed wit sugar factory.it was packed to the max and there was no kind of social distancing and people were packed in one place with no masks !it was dirty and super expensive.I would not recommend this place to anyone
My parents and I enjoyed our time! The atmosphere was great. Although it was extremely loud, it did add some charm to the overall experience. We will be back!
Service was terrible. Waiter took our drink order and wrong drinks were brought out. Ordered appetizers. No plates, napkins or silverware were provided. Food was cold, bland and nothing special. Had to chase down our waiter and other servers to attend to us. We will never return
My Family & Friends really enjoyed ourselves celebrating my Birthday. The staff was awesome, and the food and drinks were really good.
Had my sons Birthday here he loved it! I will come back again with some friends as well
Somehow my reservation was for 2 people when even open table said 4. So we waited 30 minutes for a table. The drinks were awesome! Just the experience was worth the price of the drinks. The food was mediocre. 4 cheese flatbread was decent. The appetizer sampler was super dry. The burgers and chicken tenders were beyond dry even with the dipping sauce. Way overpriced for the quality of food
Great Staff, Nice clean friendly environment. Food was great 👍🏽
We went to the Sugar Factory to celebrate my daughter’s birthday.
-It took over almost an hour to get our food.
- Our waiter never checked on us
-We asked 3 times for waters, napkins and condiments. Never got the waters or condiments. Dropped off napkins at the end-after asking for the 4th time bc our toddler spilled juice every where. The waiter turned and grabbed the small stack of square napkins for drinks from the bar-dropped them on the table and kept walking.
-we planned on getting dessert for my daughter to celebrate but couldn’t find our waiter at the end and had already been there for almost 3 hours. Our youngest couldn’t last any longer. Unfortunately we had to leave with out dessert. Our kids love Sugar Factory but after our last experience this will be our last visit. It’s not worth the money.
The food was excellent! I love the vibes here and that it can be a fun place for the kids or the adults.
