Wow, as usual, an awesome night out at SY Kitchen! Navigating the rules and requirements of COVID-19 is no easy feat, but you're doing a great job. The food and drinks were AMAZING as usual. Starting with the smoked old-fashioned and pomegranate gin cocktails was a great choice, both were delicious! The grill-roasted artichoke appetizer is always our favorite, and it did not disappoint. The rack of lamb special paired beautifully with the sausage and burrata pizza (thankfully we like to share!), and the chocolate gelato with an espresso was the perfect finish. We can't wait until the lockdowns are over so we can visit again!

The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. So happy without experience.

We were visiting the Solvang, Santa Ynez area and after doing some research decided on the SY Kitchen for lunch.
It was so great that we returned for lunch the next day. Service was attentive and every morsel was so delicious that you hugged yourself with pleasure. Have the beet salad — even if you don’t like beets. Pasta dishes were perfection. Give your table a gift and order all the deserts. Plan to share everything, because your will want to taste everything. I am making myself hungry just thinking about the SY Kitchen. Huge props to the chef!

A must stop if you are visiting Santa Ynez! We always have a memorable meal and experience.

It was fantastic! We had a wonderful meal shared with four people... tried 14 different dishes shared family style. We tried the bread,roasted olives, burrata, octopus (cooked perfectly),zucchini soup,persimmon salad, fusilli pasta, the special pasta of the day (short rib ravioli), mushroom papardelle, del Monico steak, branzino, ginger creme brûlée, and chocolate gelato ... along with delicious cocktails and two bottles of wine... we ate outside with the heaters and we brought our own blankets.... loved, loved it. Made even more special to share with our son and his girlfriend!

It is so cute and cozy. Drinks are amazing. Waiter was friendly but the upsell on everything was bizarre. They are peddling black truffle like they are being incentivized. Then he does NOT even mention it’s a $20 up charge on a $22 dish. The steak was chewy and bland. Needed good salt in a big way. The mushroom and the short rib pasta were amazing! Burata was so good and the fact it came with avocados, arugula, cucumber & tomato & beets! Was insanely delicious!

Was in Santa Ynez for long weekend. This was the best meal we had the entire time!

We ate at SYK a few time pre-COVID. Really liked it.
But on this visit the social distancing was extremely poor. We did not feel safe eating there, told them and left. If they don't care about enough about their patrons to keep them safe, we don't care enough about their food to eat there. Instead we ate at the Red Barn. Very nice.

It was super great ambience and food, but the server made it seem like the dessert was comped because it was my twins and my birthday but charged us for it and then double charged us (on accident) but it still puts a damper on the experience. But really loved everything else!

Vacationing in Santa Yenez and could eat here every night. Great menus and service. Love, love the beet salad and all of the pastas are house made and cooked to perfection. I would order everything on the menu!

Amazing from start to finish!!! Everything is so fresh and delicious. Honestly one of my favorite meals ever and this is coming from someone who has lived in NYC & LA and has traveled extensively. The atmosphere and service were top notch as well! 10/10

Delicious! What more can I say about this adorable restaurant? Nothing pretentious about it. Service was attentive but not annoying. Food was farm fresh and artfully prepared. The cocktails were thoughtful and had so much depth in each sip, order them all. I think we did.

Wonderful evening at the SY Kitchen. We all had a pasta dishes and all four dishes were cooked perfectly al dente. The Terra masseuse dessert was fabulous!

The ambience was beautiful and relaxing. Perfect dinner after wine tasting all day long.

Always one of our favorite spots when we visit the area. Food and service are absolutely perfect. They have a great outdoor setup that made us feel really safe as well.

The food here is excellent! We loved every dish that we ordered, but were especially pleased with the tender octopus and the wild mushroom pappardelle. We also received wonderful service — friendly and attentive to just the right amount. We look forward to coming back and trying even more of SYK’s menu!

We have dined here four times now.... every meal has been top notch... the chef is incredible! "Always order the specials" is my advice! And we also love the al fresco dining on the back patio, and the gracious service there! :))

Great ambience. Deliciously flavored food and all around great experience. It’s our third time back. Almost always stop here when we are in the area. Be sure to order the Bob’s Well bread to start!

Everything was amazing from the ambience to the food to the drinks to the service. The Globe Artichoke was amazing! The El Viejo cocktail was delish! The Truffle Pasta special they had was excellent. We will be back soon.

SY Kitchen is always amazing. Typically I only go at dinner but went yesterday, 11/8/20 for lunch. As usual it was amazing. And though the olives were not on the lunch menu I asked chef to make them and he did!
