Taki Japanese Sushi & Hibachi Restaurant
I would not recommend going to this restaurant if you are at all concerned about Covid Safety protocols. Although most employees were “wearing masks” they would pull them down when talking to people or would only be wearing them over their mouths. We noticed this with our particular server and also others handling food and plates. I never saw anyone perform extra cleaning measures between patrons and they are filling hibachi tables without any attention to social distancing. We will not be back until something changes.
Taki is one of our favorite Hibachi spots!!! I highly recommend!
Chaotic. Unorganized. Poor Customer Service. Reservations mean nothing.
Service was terrible 9pm reservation didn’t get seated until 1045. Ceiling was leaking heavy while waiting. And the hostess didn’t acknowledge me not once I had to walk up to her each time just to see what was going on
The food and chef were great. Only complaint is that their hallway floor was very slippery and they didn't warn us of that ahead of walking on it
We had hibachi dinner and they spaced us with a chair between families. Felt we were adequately social distanced. Our chef did a lot of fun tricks and was engaging. Food was great. My son had the strip, chicken and shrimp. I had strip and shrimp. It was a good birthday experience for my son. We will be back. Only complaint is the 3$ extra for fried rice.
The chef was enthusiastic and entertaining but the waitress was horrible and none attentive. Never even refilled our drinks.
Fried calamari is WONDERFUL! It was so good we actually ordered a 2and appetizer!

Taki was slammed on a busy Saturday night. The chef was funny but seemed a tad rushed. However, the food was delicious and the servers responded to requests extremely quickly.

This was a great choice. I made reservations and we were seated immediately. The food was great and I finally found a sushi role that I could enjoy. The service was also great and it was an overall good time!
Our chef was great - personable, great with kids, with some adult humor sprinkled in. Food was excellent. Would go back without a doubt.
Celebrated a friend’s 65th birthday which was a great experience here. The quality of the food and service was great.
We had a 6:30 reservation and were not seated until 7:10. After being seated It took 45 minutes to get our drinks from the bar and mine was not even correct. No one ever returned so that I could order my daughter a refill of her drink. Then bc our orders were not taken correctly (according to the hibachi chef), i didn’t get 1/2 my food order (he gave it to my husband). Throughout this ordeal. We asked to speak to the manager several times. In fact, I’m sure we would have never received our drinks if we had not told him. When the bill came and we asked for something off due to all our issues, he took off 15% which didn’t even cover the cost of my drink. We’ve been here before and not had these issues but I’ll be looking for another hibachi restaurant for our daughter’s birthday dinner next year.
This was my first time dining at Taki and they did not disappoint. The food was amazing I’ll definitely return again.
The food was great! However, that’s only thing I can say about my experience. We had reservations. We were told it would be a 5 minute wait. However, 20 minutes later, they took a party of 15 that came in after us. After letting them know, they promptly seated us.
Once being seated, we ordered, the cook came out, and started preparing the food. While he was cooking, the waiter never came back with our drink orders or even cane back. It wasn’t until it was time to pack up and he was asking us if we wanted boxes that he even came out. I told him we never got drinks and he mentioned that he could go grab them. NO! We were done eating. I told him to just adjust our bill and he never did. My children had to eat their food, without a drip of water or juice that they ordered.
They weren’t that picked so I’m unsure why the customer service was all poor. I really enjoy hibachi but I don’t know if I will be back.

We had reservations and were told they were behind and there would be a wait. Others had been already for quite awhile. We were going to cancel our reservation and go elsewhere when a man said to wait, that he would seat us in 5 minutes It seemed very disorganized and frenzied. But once we were seated the chef and food were excellent.
We had a reservation and still waited over an hour to be seated. They were seating parties with no reservations that walked in after us.
The chef and waitress at the hibachi table were great but the front host was terrible.

Taki is definitely an upscale Japanese restaurant with food of high quality, the sushi is both exquisite and yummy, will come back to try some hibachi food next time!!!
Would not go back. Hostess made us wait over 20 minutes for a table even though we had reservations. When we were seated finally everyone at the table was already ordering their meals. Super rushed, average performance by chef at the grill. Had to ask 2x to place a drink order from the bar, drinks were awful- worst “cosmo “ I have ever had.
The lobby waiting area benches are ripped and torn, need replacing. There are 2 different areas for the Hibachi grill tables, ours towards the front was dated, dirty looking, and cramped tables. The 2nd are in the back appeared much nicer.
I will stick to Benihana in the future, but their reviews don’t look good as well. I’m a new transplant to the Atlanta area, maybe there isn’t a good hibachi restaurant here?
Great time celebrating my sons 11th Birthday
Not bad. Not great. Ambiance and sushi were ok. Price was a price that should have had great food and ambiance.
