Wow! What a fabulous brunch! They offer everything from omelets to sushi! Everything was fresh and delicious!
Great Food. Highly recommended
I liked Teikoku most of all for the atmosphere. I love a restaurant that knows their lightning. Props. But the service was slowwwww and the food was ok. The Pad Thai though was spectacular. Would go back just for that.
Anniversary. Made Reservations so we got seated right away. Service was very good. Food and wine very good. Dessert topped off a great meal.
Very nice venue for sushi and asian fusion cuisine near Newtown Square. I'll be eating there again.
We sat at the sushi bar and really like watching the chefs prepare the beautiful plates of sushi and sashimi. Our sashimi was amazing as always. Unit was especially delicious.
The service was great, and the decor is lovely and appropriately contemporary. The food is very good and presented well. My only complaint is that restaurant is noisy.
Fourth visit....it’s the servers, or ownership or management, not sure which, but the servers are complacent even as they try to be engaged with guests. Recommend hospitality training
Attractive, more authentic decor than typical Asain restaurant
Great, well prepared food and excellent service!
we had the chef's selection - great food, great service as always
Teikoku is a favorite of ours-- they have a great Sunday Brunch buffet-- we love the sushi bar. We also enjoy dinners at Teikoku and the ambiance is very nice.
It's always a treat at Teikoku. Very soothing atmosphere. And the food is very good.
I ordered the green curry fried rice and my friend ordered the red curry chicken. Both were delicious, the portion sizes were generous and the prices were extremely fair. I would highly recommend this restaurant and plan on returning soon.
We took our grandson for his 10th birthday(his choice) and our group had an awesome time! Our server, John, was on top of our needs and was excellent! Everything was perfect and we all left feeling happy, full and satisfied.
The food at Teokoku has never failed to please us. We were a party of 5 and though the noise level was high, with many other families dining, we were still able to carry on a conversation. I really enjoyed the Poké bowl, as did another in our group. My mother really wanted ‘American Food’, and enjoyed Short Ribs with mashed potatoes. Our waiter was very attentive and even packed a little carry-out bag for my daughter, with rice and ginger, as her stomach was bothering her. In the past we have had fun sitting at the sushi bar. The chef preparing our food made little ‘amuse bouche’ bites of different things for us, and was very attentive and entertaining.
Reservations through Open Table and were seated right away. Our waiter was wonderful explained the specials and happily answered our questions. One member of my party asked for a substitution and our waiter pleasantly said no problem!
Food portion was substantial and we had leftovers to take home, which btw was even better the next day! Always love dining here! Highly
Best scallops ever
Extremely busy night so service was a little slow but good. The air conditioning was on and blowing directly on our table. Food was delicious and well presented.
Always a great dining experience ! My buddy got a ton of sushi - I had lobster dumpling appetizer , octopus salad and a Godzilla roll
. All perfectly seasoned and cooked . Been coming here since Day 1 . Highly recommended . Was back again last night for more food ,
BECAUSE WE FELT THE SOY SAUCE ON THE TABLE WAS DILUTED WE ASKED FOR THE MORE CONCENTRATED AND IT WAS GRACIOUSLY PROVIDED. THE PORTION OF SUSHI WERE A LITTLE SKIMPY OR OVER PRICES FOR THE PRESENTATION. GOOD BUT NOT GREAT VALUE
Great food. Great service. A++. Highly recommended
Food and service were excellent. We will be back again.
This was the first time my husband and I had gone to Teikoku although we've lived in Newtown
Square since before it was opened. We had 6:30 reservations on a weekday and were seated immediately. Our wait person took good care of us and gave recommendations. We both had Spring Rolls as a starter and they were wonderful. My husband had the Sashimi Platter and was very pleased with it - finished it all. I had the green Curry Fried Rice with chicken and thought it was great - I did take some home since it is a large portion. We definitely will go back again!!
We love Teikoku and the food is always excellent. Best sushi in our corner of the burbs. However, last night it wasn't crowded but the service was slow. Apps came out fast, and 3 of us got our entrees 10 minutes before the fourth did.
Yummy!!! Great service
We celebrated a birthday with family and everything was outstanding. The waitress heard us mention birthday and came out with cake for dessert (without us asking). It was incredibly thoughtful.
First time there with friends. Overall good dining experience. The menu is a quite large, almost too much to choose from. A little miscommunication on the serving size of the sushi/sashimi platter but server handled it well. Sashimi was fresh, spider roll and rainbow roll were fine, crab fried rice and spicy noodle tasty and our friends liked their chicken curry. Calamari salad ok, probably wouldn't order again. Lots of fun cocktails, sparkling wine was good.
It was our first time at the restaurant. The restaurant is in a very nice location and has ample parking. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star because of the hostess and the server. The hostess doesn’t seem happy to be there. Our server was nice yet she missed some detail like my husband got his food on a chipped plate. When I showed it to her she did apologize but you know it wasn’t sincere.
But the food is DELICIOUS. We started with grilled octopus salad. We were torn between kobe beef hot rock and grilled octopus salad. But the salad was GREAT. Then we got Poseidon sushi. again DELICIOUS. Then I got Chilean sea bass. Outside is a little crunchy but inside is so soft. The sauce I am not too crazy about it but overall great dish. My husband ordered divers scallops. He loved it!!!! For dessert we ordered fried ice cream. It was good.
Overall the food, location is great. The service just needs a little bit of attention.
Really fun .. nice people !
Nice local place. Food is good and service is always nice.
My husband and I have been to Teikoku numerous times. This visit we experienced the worst service ever. We sat for 10 minutes and had to call the hostess over to find out if we had a waiter. The waiter came over and took our order. After our appetizers were finished our waiter came over to tell me that my entree was no longer gluten free even thought it was marked on the menu. He took my new order and apologized. After a long wait, an employee came over and literally dropped our food on the table as they were walking away. I didn’t even have a chance to tell her that my entree was wrong. I sat and waited for our waiter to return to tell him that I received the wrong meal. He took it away and after waiting again I finally received my meal. When our dinner was complete it took a long time to received a desert menu. Another waiter came over and took our desert order because he saw that we were waiting yet again. When the bill finally arrived there were no apologies for the errors or wait we encountered. The service was so poor I am not sure we will ever go back.
Great food. Becoming our favorite place!
Restaurant is beautiful. Service was excellent. We had a group of 8, our waiter, Larry was outstanding . Quality of food was wonderful. Look to return.
My husband and I had dinner at Teikoku for his birthday. We ordered an appetizer, two sushi rolls, each an entree, a dessert, and a bottle of wine. The price was of the dinner was very reasonable. The food was delicious, especially the salmon. Our server, Jamie was informative and pleasant. I only wish that my husband’s birthday was recognized. I did make a note of it when I made the reservation.
We will definitely go back and try different options and sit on the outdoor patio. It looked beautiful
Beautiful place, great food, attentive service. Worthy of 5 stars if not for the noise level. Hard to have a conversation.
Disappointed! Lobster risotto, on the special menu; where were the lobster pieces within the sticky blob on plate? We were rushed thru meal from appetizers thru dessert. Unpleasant
Great family dinner spot. Our waitress was attentive. We ordered appetizers and sushi to share and everything was delicious. The sushi rolls we’re very creative
Pros: A nice variety of thoughtfully prepared foods with little twists of interest. Good food, good waitstaff, and simple pleasant rooms.
Cons: Tables are cramped near one another. Nothing to deaden sounds, and even when room is not crowded, patrons are seated close to each other.
