Was really tasty, fun family place together. Super entertaining. Had a good time.
It was good. No complaints.
Due to Covid19 restrictions we had a table all to ourselves. As it was a party of 2 it was quick and easy for the chef. It was very clean and not very noisy due to the reduced number of people. It also seemed more relaxed and not rushed at all.
I was very exited to try this as I love Kobe’s in Vancouver, I was hoping for a similar experience. The service was great and the staff was friendly but unfortunately the food was not up to par, absolutely flavourless. The total bill before tip was $175 which is fine because you are paying for the experience but even that wasn’t anything special. I do not recommend this place to anyone, there is lots of dining options in Whistler, this should be off your idea list.
We enjoyed our meal very much. Thank you!
It was good, great protocols set up for the Covid distancing. Maybe some music would be nice so the atmosphere wasn't so stale, the food was okay. I don't know if I will rush back but it is fun to go there every now and again.
The kids and I enjoyed our dinner at Tappan Village. We felt safe as all the staff wore masks or kept at a social distance. They had hand sanitizer for everyone entering the restaurant and working.
The food was delicious and we enjoyed watching it be prepared by our chef.
It was a little hard to hear each other so I wouldn't chose this if you want to have good conversations. The seating is a U around the grill so not conducive to table conversations.
Excellent food, service and entertainment. Nicely spread out due to Covid
Easy choose menu, more multi culture siting arrangement and also seeing chef doing the cooking. A bit rush of having the food to be consumed before it get cold, such it is a good place when you are bit hungry.
Fun atmosphere and great food! Portions are on the smaller side.
Great Teppan Steakhouse, located in the Hilton at Whistler Village. Enjoyed it and we'll be back! Thanks.
Such a unique and incredible dining experience!
We recommend the Land Lovers and Seafood trio! The Tepanyaki experience was awesome!
Great service and delicious food. Always a fun spot
Love it - this place is so good. The shrimp trick is the best
Open Table gave us a table for 6 instead of the table for 10 that we requested. The restaurant wouldn’t help so our party had to split up. Not easy at Whistler Village during the high season! This was very disappointing.
We have been to your establishment
many times... Generally the whole experience is excellent. However this time we found the music to be top pop hits instead of japanese music. The chef Sasha was great except for his show was weak and short ...less than 40 seconds. Our server Dan was great.
Great service! Chef Sasha was was best. He was so entertaining! Waiter was also great with my son’s food allergies and had his food cooked in the back kitchen.
Great times great fun
From the time we walked in the door to our departure, everything was an A+. Really great service and dinner was good too. Thanks to our chef, Tomo!!
Great food with a great show as well
Isn’t what it used to be. Food was just ok
Honestly, the worst hibachi restaurant we’ve been to. Three sauces and none were very good, fried rice was bland and not prepared at the table and didnt include egg or vegetables and the you have to shell the lobster yourself.
Show was entertaining and meal wasn’t horrible but super disappointing compared to the numerous hibachi places we have been to over the years.
Overall good experience. Delicious food. Tempura was crunchy and light. Chef was funny and interactive.
Been to many teppan restaurants. This was an okay experience but not outstanding.
Fun experience for my daughter’s 12 year birthday party. Thanks.
Orders were not accurate and lead to some confusion
We were a group of six celebrating a 65th birthday. Right from the start the waiter was rushing us. Told us to order drinks and dinner at the same time and expected us to order within 5 minutes of sitting down. He told us we only had 90 minutes and needed to hurry up! Seriously? Food was good but not enough for the men in our group. At the 60 minute mark they pretty much expected us to leave. Tried to clear all the dishes even though some of us had not finished eating. Exactly at the 90 minute mark we were told we had to leave and could take our unfinished bottle of wine to the bar. It was way too production line feeling and NOT a great place to have a relaxing dinner with friends and family for a meal close to $600.
Fried rice had no flavor, dipping sauces not as good as the ‘other’ Japanese teppen steakhouses, however our chef was very entertaining. All in all 3-4 stars out of 5
Great times, Teppan is our go-to place in Whistler. Nice atmosphere, you get to meet some other visitors and the food is good and not crazy expensive. Tomo was our teppanyaki chef!
Exceptional Teppan dinner. Great chef show and quality ingredients. So yummy! Pricy but worth a visit for a special evening experience. Wait staff average and we felt a bit rushed out in the end.
We booked for a later arrival for dinner but got there earlier and was just going to hang out in the bar but they were able to take us earlier which was very nice. Service was good, our chef was good and food was good.
Ok experience but did feel like part of a production line.
Friendly staffs, food was good.
The food was very fresh, filet mignon excellent. Our chef was funny and personable Taste was great. I would go back for sure!
Tiger prawns teppan is a fraud. The smallest prawns Ibhave ever seen. Dissapointing
The food portion was small and no “yum yum” sauce. The rice wasn’t prepared on the table and was brought out from the back. This place was weak for Hibachi. Especially for the price.
