First time trying Teresa’s Cafe-would return! Enjoyed the option of spaghetti squash as a gluten free option with any pasta entree. My son enjoyed the pizza!!
Food was good, we all got pasta and thought it was cooked well, but nothing that blew us away. Drinks were very good. Service was quick, but waitress seemed a bit disinterested. Overall, a good meal but nothing to rave about.
This is my first dinner experience in town. Comprehensive drinks menu that covers everything from beer, wine, hard liquid, to cider and mead. Quality food and friendly services. I highly recommend Teresa's and would definitely come back next time I'm in town.
Had an all-around excellent experience at Teresa’s. It was honestly my perfect restaurant. Delicious Italian food, awesome beer list, modern yet cozy atmosphere and great service. I already can’t wait to come back and bring friends :)
Would not go back.
Waitress was initially semi-nasty...got better as the meal progressed.
Food was just ok, expensive for the meal we got.
Dessert was really bad!
Wonderful evening. The service, food and wine were great.
Delicious Italian food! Service was great!
Bread was stale. Brushetta bread was not toasted.
Waitress had an attitude.
Took twenty minutes to gt appetizer
My girlfriends wanted to go out for lunch. We considered many local restaurants, but all 3 of us were thrilled that we chose Teresa's. The food was amazing, our waitress, Kerry, was fabulous, we had our own booth and no one tried to move us even after a very long stay. It was quiet and we could easily talk without the crazy noise in most restaurants today. I highly recommend the mussels, the French fries with a killer remoulade sauce, and a divine dessert, ice cream with Marcona almonds and homemade chocolate sauce. Ymmmmm!
The food is good, the service attentive and the noise level is low enough to be able to converse at the table without shouting.
Great service ! Great food ! Chairs uncomfortable!
Pricey. Atmosphere didn't appeal to me. Too dark and minimalistic. Ordered strip steak . Good flavor but very thin. Not at all what I expected, especially for the price. Disappointed.
It was simply an outstanding evening of amazing food, excellent beverages and tremendous service. I’m moving to Wayne so will definitely e a regular!
The glasses of wine were small pours. My friends’ pasta side with her chicken entry was too dry. Waiter was very nice and attentive.
Great family night out. Rare to get kids to agree on liking same pizza. I really enjoyed the pescano seafood dish and whisky flight. Server worked really hard to find a wine my wife liked too.
Was expecting to be seated on the other side of Teresa’s upon arrival, but was told Teresa’s with Mediterranean menu was only side that took reservations. That was not clear on Open Table. It did work well for us, as same beer menu was available and there were many entree options that we could live with. We were disappointed not to have Belgian mussels. Friends ordered Mussels app and were happy. Service was great and would definitely come back with another kind of evening in mind, where I might scrutinize the wine list.
One of the most adventurous beer selections in the Philly suburbs.
I absolutely love Teresa’s! I usually sit on the Belgian side, but needed a reservation for my friend’s birthday, so we sat on the Italian side. The service was spectacular, the cheese board was divine, and the pasta entrees were to die for. One of my friends got the whiskey flight and raved about it. I had a mezcaloma and loved it. I will make an effort to sit on this side more often—it’s worth it.
Teresa's has gone way downhill. First of all my server was miserable, disinterested and borderline rude. Nobody ever asked if our food was fine which it clearly wasn't, the mussels were cold. Seven minutes later they were brought out the second time without the toasted bread and not much better, this batch was warmer but nowhere near as good as the previous 12 years that I have been frequenting this establishment. Regardless, nobody checked on us anyway. The broth was watery and the mussels were not as flavorful as normal and a bit fishy smelling. I had bragged to my date for over 2 weeks that she was about to taste the best mussels in Philadelphia and I was made to look foolish.
10/10 would recommend
They forgot about our birthday celebration, the waitress was moody/terrible the menu was 85% bourbon and IPAs and it was a lousy night where we spent over $200 on 4 people. The seats were metal and the table small. It really is a place for 20 something to drink and get drunk. Never going back .
Amazing alcohol menu with lots of options for pairing. Will be visiting again soon!
I always enjoy dining at Teresa's Cafe, great service, good food and excellent beer.
It was my birthday but we often come here. People are friendly, service is great, food is good and beer is excellent.
We enjoyed our dinner and especially loved the cheese, wine and beer selection. We loved our waitress and were happy with her recommendations for the wine and cheese, she was very knowledgeable about the wide variety of cheese and cocktails.
We enjoyed the food very much and (WOW) the selections from the bar!!!
We can always count on Teresa’s for good food, drinks and service.
Wonderful dinner! It’s a bit loud and congested but the food makes up for it! Will definitely return!
My girlfriends pasta dish was fine but my Chicken Parmesan was the worst I have ever had, over cooked, dry as can be and no flavor. The chairs are also very uncomfortable.
Our waiter was great and kept refilling our water which we really appreciated. The salad was delcious but the quantity wasn’t enough unfortunately. When I got home I had to make more food bc I was still hungry. My friends all felt the same way about the amount of food that was served. Hope you will take our suggestion and follow through; otherwise, we probably won’t come back. We’ve heard the food is great but many people have said it’s not enough. Thank you!!
We enjoyed the food and our waitress was great. The drink list for wines, gins, bourbon, whiskey was extensive. The only thing was that it seemed really loud. We were sitting at a 2-person table. The next table was also a 2-person table. It felt like we were eavesdropping because the conversations were so close together. We will definitely go again but not the place if you want to have a private conversation.
Great food and loved the biodynamic wines. Outstanding beverage program!!!
My 2 friends and I had a lovely lunch. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. I thought the prices were a little high, especially for the artichoke starter, but it wasn't very far out of line with what I'd been expecting. My main difficulty was the noise-level--the music was turned up a bit too high. I think the volume did get turned down on our request, but I would have liked it still a little quieter, for the sake of conversation. Overall, though, a wonderful lunch!
We were hoping for better. The place looks nice and had decent ambiance. The server was working on this side of Teresa's instead of her normal side and we had some questions, and we think we actually got the wrong wine. It was pink but she said it looked like the golden color as the description says. It had the taste of a rose' but was supposed to be like a Pinot Grigio. She did offer to replace it, but we rarely complain and we drank it anyway. We went for the natural wines, but we weren't that impressed with the 3 we had. The food and ambiance aren't enough for us to go back, but it was worth a shot.
Birthday dinner for two. We were seated right on time. The food was yummy and the pace of the meal was right on point. We had a very nice time
Great atmosphere and even better food. Perfect date spot!
Way to noisy. Other than that, food was excellent.
Tasty cocktails and I appreciated them having gluten free pasta
While our server was very pleasant we felt rushed and were disappointed that the “stout event” wasn’t much of an event. We had to ask about it. And she didn’t offer any suggestions or recommendations. The food was good but not fabulous. I wouldn’t be opposed to giving the place another try because I liked the atmosphere and their wine list was extensive.
Had high expectations and they were all met. Food was as good as the service and all the staff very pleasant. Only issue would be the chairs are not comfortable and constant adjusting. Replace them.
