Food was great lobster bisque was not warm but server was helpful friendly food was delivered with
Friendly gentlemen menu options are awesome
Some of our group had the fish and chips and enjoyed them. Beer cheese was also ordered and was very good. French dip, and chicken salad, there's nothing bad on the menu. It was a little confusing to some they have a brunch menu till 2, but we were able to order from the regular menu.
We had fsh and chips. It was very good. Margaritas were good too, but a little pricey.
Service staff neglected our party. She was not intuitive and we felt like a bother. The food was good as usual but came out of the kitchen a few meals at a time and we couldn't eat together. Unfortunately the waitress was overly busy and appeared annoyed with us.
Serevers are super rushed. Food was just ok. For being in a lake area the perch dinner is the worst I have had in the area. Very small perch. Larger perch with a better presentation is needed. Perch at Bumpers way better. Others liked the lobster rolls.
Good food and drinks , waitress was attentive and helpful
It was so busy, but because we made online reservations we were seated immediately. It was packed because of lobster Feb.but still not too loud, because of how the restaurant is divided. Our poor waitress was so everwelmed and forgot another butter, but the melted butter was so big we shared until she remembered. She was very apologetic about the oversight. She was very attentive with drinks and seeing how we were doing. I have never had a bad evperience.
First time there for me and it was my birthday. The food came so too fast. I wasn't done with my soup and my salad came. The table was small so I held the soup so my salad could go on the table. My salad didn't even get started and my lobster came. I have reservations 4 weeks ahead for 3. I should have had a bigger table and food didn't need to come that fast. Good was excellent and prices were great. Would I come back, maybe. Would I recommend the restaurant, maybe.
We went to dinner to celebrate my cousins birthday! It was an awesome experience!
Great time with friends
Very good, we will be back! One of our favorites!!
Wife’s birthday brunch
We had reservations for 7:30 but did not get seated until 8:20. Staff apologized and gave us an appetizer free. Overall, food was great.
Reserved beginning of week. Several tables had RESERVED sign on them. Had to wait 15 minutes to be seated even though had reservation . When seated, was put in front of bar where waitstaff got their drink orders, and loud patrons sitting at bar. Fish was mushy. Hamburger was dry and overcooked. French fries were served in a little basket and greasy. Asked for mashed potatoes and received French fries anyway. Ordered house wine and was served 1/4 of a glass of low grade wine for $7.50. Wouldn’t go back or recommend to others.
I've been going to Terry's for many years and this was the first 'miss'. They were crazy busy and despite having a reservation, we were seated 20 minutes late. The waitress was very busy and her attitude showed it. The entire meal process was very, very slow. The food was mediocre at best...barely warm. It was disappointing and will be pulled from the rotation for quite awhile.
We walked into Terry’s Terrace and our reservation was there, so it was off to a great start! It was nice to know Open Table worked like it was supposed to. The waitress was very attentive and came around fairly often despite how busy they were (they were packed for Valentine’s Day).
I’ve been dying to try a good lobster meal and I figured either Terry’s Terrace or Tom’s Oyster Bar would be great options, with Terry’s winning over the latter due to location and the fact that it’s been years since I’ve gone there.
My lobster bisque soup was perfect, and the twin lobster tails were outstanding! Very easy to eat and oh so delicious. My partner ordered the crab-stuffed cod, which he was very fond of as well. I gave a 4 star rating because the waitress took my order of mashed potatoes with gravy, but French fries came out instead. I was okay with this, so I didn’t make a fuss. I noticed it said mashed potatoes with gravy on the bill, so a mix-up, most likely related to how busy it was, was all that happened.
We were presented with a platter of dessert options to choose from which was a fun experience! However, we opted to order another craft beer each instead (which there were plenty to choose from, much like their other location, Ale Mary’s. I wonder if Tom’s Oyster Bar is the same!), and we we paid the bill and went back to the arcade. Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, and Baby Pac-Man were all available to play, and seemed like new improvements compared to how I remember the arcade room being. Very cool!
All in all, we had a fantastic time, and I will definitely be coming back to Terry’s Terrace for seafood, and want to try burgers and other options as well! I already know the brunch is fantastic. 😊
We had been there once before and it was good. Valentines day I think they thought they were going to be busier than they were and everything just tasted like they prepped everything hours in advance and then microwaved when needed. Even the couple next to us returned his soup twice. it was just awful especially for what you pay. Definitely won't be back any time soon or at all.
Great service. Sat promptly. Always an enjoyable experience at Terry’s!
Sarah was our waitress and she was outstanding. Never had to ask for anything . Large servings of food . Taste good. Open table helped with picking such a hidden gem.
Having had the opportunity to tour Portsmouth NH. We were looking forward to reliveing a pleasant memory. Unfortunately our meal did not measure up. Your lobster rolls were skimpy & smelled fishy. Your tails were the right size for bait. Overall I saved $3000 in airfare and hotel accommodations. Thanks for the memories. D
Good food and service. Love the fish and chips. Wine prices are a little steep though.
First time with some friends and they loved the food, they said next time we get together we are coming here.
Cannot say enough about eating at Terry's Terrace. Service is always good and the food is outstanding. Great beer selection too.
I really liked the online reservation program. Our waitress, Coco, gave us great service and we all enjoyed our meals
Our go to restaurant for great beer and food. The Sam Adams fish & chips are a winner. Love the lobster roll. The wait staff and managers are great.
I took a friend here who had never been before. He had the King Crab and really enjoyed himself. I had the fish and chips and honestly it wasnt as good as it was the first time I had it. We ordered a slice of the Bailey's Cheesecake and it was dry. I wouldnt recommend it. The waitress kept inquiring who would be handling the bill-i thought that was kinda rude. My guess also was interested in a Non-alcholic beer, which the server said they didnt carry one. Overall, for a Monday and it was the holiday-it was fine but i expected more.
Phenomenal food, phenomenal service! Terry’s Terrace needs nobody to explain why after so many years there is a line out the door almost daily but every single weekend for certain!
Terry’s is a great place to meet up with friends.
Food & service were great. Drinks are a little pricy.
Very cozy & quaint place. Had a sweet, romantic, Anniversary dinner.
We bought the mimosa tower and it was a great value!!
Fish & chips were excellent. My husband had a salad & the lettuce was kind of brown or old.
Great place to eat, been going here for years. Service is always outstanding.
Made a reservation at 5:46 for 7:30 Upon arrival was told they were too busy to guarantee we would be served in less than 1 1/2 hrs but we could sit at table. Remove this restaurant from your site.
We hadn't been to Terry's for many years since we'd moved further away. But we decided to come back with a friend. It was so easy to reserve our table for 3, which was ready when we arrived at the scheduled time. So nice not to have to wait in line since it was pretty crowded. The service was very good as was the food. Glad we came.
Great place to kick back a couple craft brews and celebrate the holidays with friends.
Christmas Eve dinner
My review is of open table not the restaurant itself. I made a reservation through open table for 8 people on Christmas Eve. When we got there we were told they did not have our reservation and that open table was told not to take any more reservations. They eventually got us a table near the arcade which was ridiculously noisy but at least we got in. Food was ok, server was good. But I no longer feel I can trust making reservations through open table. This is the second time this has happened.
The food was really good. The prices online are less than what you will pay in the restaurant. We went during Happy Hour but we’re told we had to pay full price bc Happy Hour was only at the bar. That was upsetting. I felt rushed too. It was not crowded either. I love the food and the fire pit is great but the service was not great unfortunately.
