We love Thiaverse. The food is outstanding, and service is terrific. I hidden gem for sure. Just wish that they had a much better wine selection.
The food was excellent and our server was very attentive. She was knowledgeable about the menu items and careful to provide correct allergy information when asked. The portions were on the small side and it was a little pricey, but we would still definitely go back and recommend Thaiverse to others.
First time visiting the restaurant for Valentines Day. Took about 10mins to take our drink order. Our server made a comment that the kitchen was really busy. So we ordered an appetizer (went with option #2 since what we wanted was “out,” along with our main dishes. The appetizers were hot and tasted delicious. For the main dishes, my wife ordered Pad Thai with shrimp and I ordered a Ginger vegetable plate with shrimp. The Pad Thai was hot and delicious. My dish on the other had to be sent back because is was less than warm. I think they made my dish first and then waited for my wife’s before bringing them out. Our server was very nice and professional. I would go back again and give them the benefit of the doubt, trying something different.
Been here one time previously. Very good service and friendly wait staff. Small and quaint atmosphere.
One customer talked very loudly on her phone and with her companion. Very rude!
Food was very good.
Absolutely delicious food. What a great find!
Date night
Delicious food great service!!!
My 2nd visit, and everything was perfect. The restaurant is cozy and nicely decorated. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and the pacing of the meal was good. The food was delicious, from appetizers to entrees and desserts. Everything tasted fresh, and presentation was good. There is ample parking behind the building.
The food is terrific, service friendly and quick. Wish it had an outside patio for spring/summer dining!
Lovely, but the food is a little salty.
Best Thai food in our area. Wide selection too. Love the sticky toffee pudding.
This was a great find for a little out of the way Thai restaurant. The service was beyond excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive and left us wanting for nothing. The food was great, although the flavors were a little muted. I think the spice level has probably been adjusted for the local pallette. I am sure that you could request for things to be made more spicy. This is NOT a fast food place. All of the food is prepared freshly, so it may take a while to come out. We ordered the steamed dumplings (5 pieces), massaman curry with chicken, drunken noodles with chicken, mango sticky rice (shared between the two of us), and one Thai Iced Tea. The total bill was around $60 for the two of us. The portions were generous, without being oppressive. We will definitely return here for a funky little date night in the future!
First time guest. The service was great and the food was very good. Looking forward to returning and trying other dishes.
Excellent dishes, extremely flavorful. Nice quiet place to dine in a small town.
A beautiful, intimate restaurant that happens to provide diners with outstanding Thai flavors in classic Thai specialties. Thaiverse always impresses!
Amazing to find a very good Thai restaurant in the small village of Lovettsville. Everyone was happy with their food, which ranged from spicy (larb gui) to medium (aubergine with pork) to mild (vegetable tempura).
Best Thai restaurant in Northern VA. They will prepare the food with the level of heat requested. We will return again
middle of the road. Thai menu was good, but not overwhelming. You're not likely to be thrilled nor underwhelmed.
My wife and I took a Friday night to go out for a nice dinner with our 8 year old son. The wait staff was great and the food very tasty. Great setting to actually have a conversation over dinner. The dinner plates may be a bit overpriced but were all freshly prepared to order and we left with a couple goodie bags to take home. We’ll continue to go back here regularly for a wonderful night out.
One of the best Thai restaurants in the DC metro area. Aromatic fresh dishes with the right amount of heat.
Delicious! Tucked away in Lovettsville. Great, friendly service. Would recommend to others and come here again!
Delicious meal, comfortable atmosphere for visiting family from out of town.
What a surprise! Lovettsville, "the German Village", has a very good and authentic Thai restaurant!
My wife and I came from Falls Church and enjoyed our experience at Thaiverse. The Pad Thai could have been a little spicer, and don't miss the dumplings! Great service. It isn't a fancy date night, but great prices for what you get.
My husband and I came here for dinner on a Saturday night. As usual, the service was excellent,
the atmosphere was rather quiet, and the food choices we made were so very good!! We have been to this restaurant and the one they have in Middleberg, both are incredibly good. The only
complaint was when we got home and looked closely at our bill (should have done there), we
noticed that we were charged for three cups of coffee. My husband had asked for a "refill" of his coffee but I did not. I am not sure if a "refill" is subject to a four dollar charge but we will
definitely ask next time. I am pretty sure it was an honest mistake by the waiter, who, by the
way, was excellent. We will be back to both locations. It was nice to see the beautiful renovation that was done -- nice job!!
Thai short rib small plate to start with Duck Curry
Great service and a nice cold Sancerre for the table
Looking forward to Me Grob someday
Menu choices are extensive, with a variety of types of items. There is something for everyone. Service was prompt. I really enjoyed the Thaiverse fried rice. The pineapple was a delicious addition.
Food was excellent - well prepared and tasty. Server was attentive. We'll be back.
Service was great food was awesome. Best calamari I have ever had.
Food was authentic, flavorful and overall fantastic! Owner is so nice and personable. Enjoyable evening.
We stumbled upon Thaiverse and had a great conversation with the owner, who helped us find the right dishes for us. We had recently traveled to Thailand, and she showed us what items would remind us of the places we had been. A great night, a good value, a delicious dinner.
Our first dining experience at Thaiverse, after numerous recommendations from friends. The food was fresh and delicious. We will dine here again, and also recommend to others.
Food and service were great!
The food is EXCELLENT and the service is wonderful. The best place to eat. So GLAD we went here!
Everything I've had here has been delicious. My favorite so far has been the Eggplant and Beef dish.
It was wonderful- servers were very nice!
It was our first time to Thaiverse and it won't be our last.
Who would think that Lovettsville, The German Village, would have a great, authentic Thai restaurant?!...but they do!
Surprisingly good Thai. Many typical dishes, but a few good choices beyond the usual fare. Although not much unexpected, the preparation exceeded most Thai places. We'll be back.
Charming Thai place that really delivers. Exceptional dishes that redefine the cuisine. Highly recommend the Pad Thai pork and make sure you set the level of hot
