Staff were amazing as we arrived late due to the LA marathon. Food was amazing the lobster and potato waffles were good but felt like the toppings were less than what we had seen via videos on YouTube. Pork, smoked Salmon and Lamb Pastrami were stunning and great. My only complaint was when we sat down the waiter asked if we would like champagne but didn't say that it was a extra price, so maybe something to be aware of when you visit but make sure you sit outside when the weather is hot, it's the best place to be.
The Belvedere is a charming restaurant inside an even more charming resort hotel. The service is great. The staff is very attentive. Overall, a great dining experience. We had a wonderful girl's birthday breakfast. Nothing was a miss. Everything went smoothly.
It was disappointing and not up to the standard they showed us on our previous visits.
Food is wonderful, service is impeccable and the staff always remember our preferences. It is especially lovely to sit on the patio when we can.

We had the most wonderful breakfast at THE BELVEDERE. They were wonderful to our three grandchildren and even gave each a coloring book and crayons. The food was delicious and the choices on the menu were great. Service was outstanding.

This dinner was totally outstanding in every way. The food, service, and setting were all great. It was personal and sophisticated at the same time. We were staying at the Peninsula where we had stayed seceral times before and decided to celebrate my wife’s birthday at the Belvedere. What a perfect choice. We discussed the wine list and wines generally with the manager or maybe he was another senior level position. He brought us some tastings of ‘82 and ‘84 Cos d’Estornel and Lafite from some friends of his at another table. Did not get his name but he had run and maybe partially owned Le Dôme years ago. And literally everyone else also provided just exceptional service. Great evening on all levels. Highly recommend.
Excellence on every level. I have NEVER had a steak cooked to that level of perfection. Medium rare throughout!
What you'd expect of the Peninsula and more! The remodeled Belvedere is contemporary, comfortable and elegant. The staff and overall level of service are extraordinary and dinner (which we had on a Sunday evening) was wonderful. Very nice variety of appetisers and main courses all reasonably priced for the overall ambience of the experience. Adding to the experience is the fact that you can have a comfortable conversation over dinner as the ambient noise level is very comfortable. An added benefit for wine connoisseurs is the fact that corkage is waved on Sunday evenings. So bring your best bottle(s) and really enjoy a special evening out.
Booked a dinner using a Travelzoo coupon. Very nice dinner. The service is fun & extraordinary. I get the impression patrons can be a little snooty. Dined inside but the patio looked very nice.

Usually a big fan of the peninsula... I’ve stayed at almost all of their properties... with that said, I have to say the food was extraordinarily bland. I had the steak tartare, the lamb meatballs (barely any taste whatsoever) and the grilled octopus. I also tasted some of the crab from my wife’s salad. All of it was literally tasteless. The best item on the table was the olive oil for the bread. To be clear, it wasn’t like it was inedible, it just feels like the restaurant menu is programmed to the tastes and palettes of the octogenarian crowd that frequents Beverly Hills. Very disappointing.
This is one of the top restaurants in Beverly Hills. The food is sensational. The executive chef is clearly a master of his craft. The staff is phenomenal. From start to finish you're well taken care of. You will leave with a memorable experience and want to continue to go back.
Unbelievable service. The staff is so attentive and wanting to accommodate our every need, from the request for an arm chair, to onion soup in a cup versus the traditional serving method. we will be back!

Took my youngest son for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon and sat outside on the beautiful patio. The service and ambiance was perfect and the food was delicious. We both ordered different salads and the portions were large, we had to request boxes to take home. The use of fresh and flavorful ingredients was obvious and we both said they were the best salads (Charred Cesar and Mediterranean Chickpea Cobb with Falafel) we ever had! The Belvedere outdoor dining area is the perfect setting for an outdoor afternoon lunch. Can't wait to go back!

Christmas time at The Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills is always a great time to show off to out-of-town guests because of the lavish decorations and Christmas tree. The Belvedere restaurant is definitely on the pricey side, but the service and selection make it worth every penny.
We wanted to dine at The Belvedere as it was our 1st visit to Beverly Hills. I cannot say enough great things about our dining experience. Our waiter, Derrick Dalton was outstanding. He took us through the menu, and made both main course and cocktail recommendations. He was attentive and personable.
We had Filet and also the Tagliatelle Special. 5 stars to both. Absolutely fabulous food. The cauliflower was unique and delicious. The ambiance was just what we had expected. We look forward to returning and enjoying the outdoor patio when the weather is warmer. We highly recommend The Belvedere at The Penninsula.

The atmosphere and ambiance hasn't changed since the last time we were here, which was several years ago. The food presentation and service was outstanding. The chef and waiter, Derek, were able to accommodate a request to change the vegetable choice on my entree, which in this case was green beans from cauliflower.

I was disappointed with the food selection for the price. The salads were soggy with dressing mixed in and a small selection of cheeses. I requested a slice of meet to be cooked a bit more. It came back burned and hard. I love the Belvedere for dinner but I will not be returning for brunch.

The free flowing champagne was great. The food was mediocre at best. Use to be such a wonderful place for brunch. Now that it’s Buffet, it lost its charm. Frozen shrimp, not great oysters, poached eggs were hard. Big disappointment.
Great ambiance and service. But honestly the food was only mediocre. Bad value for the price. I’d go again but only for appetizers (pasta was good) and drinks. But honestly, this was a very, very expensive dinner and not well prepared. Overly salty and overcooked. The servers were very nice but it didn’t make up for the food.
There were numerous members of the serving staff assigned to tables as well as a private dining room...each time the door opened to that room and anything was requested...everyone stopped serving their tables and ran to the private room and forgot to bring anything that was requested by their tables. Due to this...everything was served cold, or not at all. If you are going to raise your prices every year...get better, not worse!
We were seated in a cold, bland ballroom. The hotel tried to make the room feel inviting, but there was nothing convivial about it. At the very least, guest should be told ahead of time that they will not be seated in the dining room.
