The Capital Grille - Chicago - Lombard

As always, our lunch at Capital Grille was wonderful. I met with two friends to celebrate a birthday and, even though we were in the tent, we were very comfortable. Birthday confetti and a card were on the table and the service and food were excellent. This is our go-to restaurant for birthdays, Christmas and other times during the year. We are never disappointed. The lobster bisque is the best I've ever eaten. We all ordered the tenderloin sliders with truffle fries lunch and it was delicious. We will be back!!

Every safety precaution is taken, food is always delicious and staff goes above and beyond!

The tent is very well heated and nicely decorated for the holidays. We were surprised at how warm it was with about a six foot open section on the north side of the tent. The menu was very similar to their regular menu. Service and our food was - as always -excellent!

We sat outside in the tent. Very comfortable with the heaters. Kara Hale was an exceptional server for our lunch. We will be back again.

Fantastic experience. During COVID, the outdoor seating in December was warm with a nice ambiance. The service was fantastic.

Our waitress was Molly and she was incredible! They had a tent setup outside because of Covid but it was adorable and had heat lamps. It was plenty warm but they also sell heated blankets, I'm guessing single use as they were $15. The food was incredible!

As usual, service is excellent. This, to no fault of CG, the noise level at the tent was loud. Some guests were loud and the tent has poor acoustic. Other than that, the CG did the best under the Covid restrictive circumstances. Well done!

We love dining at this Capital Grille. The food and the staff are incredible!

My husband and I went there celebrating his birthday the service was exceptional everything considered the staff went out of their way to make this a very special occasion for my husband I am extremely grateful for that I would like to thank them for everything they do during this difficult time and the food was wonderful. I look forward to the day when we can actually do indoor dining again

Overall I enjoyed the experience

The experience at the capital grill went really well. We were outside in the tent due to covid, and that didn’t bother me. I would say, I wish the heat was more consistent, but I won’t complain too much about that. The food and service was wonderful, and I would gladly come back to eat there again!

Fantastic experience! Really, from the start with drinks & appetizers through dessert service & food was excellent.

It was the best experience. Went for my moms bday. The server took a picture and printed it for her. Service was awesome.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Top not service and next level food! I was late for my reservation and it was close to closing, and the staff was still amazingly accommodating! Some of the best service I’ve ever seen and one of the best steaks (22oz bone in ribeye) I’ve ever had. Drinks were also perfect! Highly recommend!

Capital Grill never ceases to disappoint, not only is the food the best around, the service is set to match. Amazing from start to finish.

Errvything was great food was delicious and the service was amazing. They weren’t crazy busy so it was nice to enjoy our food at our own pace. Always wanted to go here and finally did and will definitely be back!!

The Capital Grille does a great job of keeping the patron safe without losing the quality and ambiance that we expect. The service levels and food are as good as ever, and other than the masks worn by the staff, once you have cleared the safety protocols, it is the same rewarding experience. Outstanding food and service! We dined in doors this visit, but we have also dined outdoors, and that was a great experience as well. We will return!

The food was amazing as usual. Our waiter, Davis, was the best in the entire restaurant. Their cleaning is exemplary. Even with Covid, they made the experience wonderful.

We love coming here, we always have great service and food too!

Our dining experience was beyond our expectations. Service was fabulous, steak was one of the best I’ve had. Celebrated a friends birthday and they made us all feel like queens. I look forward to my next special occasion dinner there.
