The Dining Room at the Biltmore is very elegant. Service was excellent. The only negative is that the entrees were very slow arriving.
Preparation dinner was superb. Top-flight service and ambiance.

Normally we share photos, but we were sooo hungry 😋, we just dug in. My wife had her usual Steak 🥩. I had a fantastic seafood 🦞 melange ... lobster, salmon, shrimp, scallops. For dessert 🍨 we had vanilla custard with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, pistachio & cake. YUMMMMM !!!
Outstanding service in a beautiful restaurant. The menu is limited and the portions are small, but it’s still a wonderful experience!

Hank was an excellent server and the entire team was fantastic. Excellent prepared food, nice portions and overall lovely meal. It is a bit on the pricey side but we so enjoyed the evening we will be back. It was a treat. George Vanderbilt would have approved.

We enjoyed two meals at the dining room of the Inn and enjoyed them both. The food was delicious and the service was impecable.
We were looking forward to an upscale dinner at the best restaurant on property at The BIltmore Estates, but our experience was far from exceptional. The prix fixe menu offered three or five courses at a very reasonable price in a lovely dining room at The Inn at Biltmore Estates.
We both ordered the foie gras mousse starter, which was a great beginning to our meal. We also both ordered the Black Angus filet and I added on a lobster tail to mine. The first problem began with the delivery of the mains. My wife found an insect in her mashed potatoes. The server was very sorry for the problem and took the dish away, but in their haste to quickly bring another to the table, the filet came rare not medium as we had ordered it. By the time her filet came back a second time I was already finished with mine. To be fair, they offered to take mine away to bring it back when my wife's came out, but it seemed a waste to toss (or heat lamp) the food. My lobster tail was quite diminutive, which was unfortunate.
We ordered the artisan cheese plate for dessert, which was fine.
I can appreciate a leisurely dining experience where a person can savor the company of the people at the table, but the time between courses was l-e-n-g-t-h-y and the restaurant was not full. Our dinner took most of three hours from ordering to completion of dessert.
The server comped us my wife's entree, which was very kind. I will give them that they did everything they could to make it right--but between the time everything took and the problems to begin with it seemed unfortunately for such an upscale establishment.
One of the best meals and experiences I've ever had!! Depth of flavor in every bite. Impeccable service abounds. Ask for a table close to the beautiful fireplace. Expensive but worth it!!
Nice dining experience. Lovely room with fireplace. Dishes were well presented but were not exceptional in any way. Sliced beef filet was very small. Drinks ($21 or $22 each) were overpriced. Biltmore Vanderbilt Reserve cabernet was great, though, and a reasonable value at $14 a glass.
Best service in very long time! Attentive not intrusive, looking to be helpful. Keep it a secret, a value for service and food.

Wonderful food, lovely setting. Service was excellent, very professional. Great variety on the menu. We try to be there at sunset, the views are unbelievable.
We have eaten in some of the best restaurants around the world. Biltmore Inn main dining room is by far one of the best. Food and service were excellent.
We spent a couple of days at The Inn on Biltmore Estate for my wife's birthday. The evening dining is an affair to be property attired and ready for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. First, the setting is elegant, a single red rose resting in a clear vase per table. Plates bear the Vanderbilt " V" at the top edge. Staff are extremely well trained and observant. The atmosphere is that of what one would expect of the 1920's aristocrats, ie, imagine dining with Lord and Lady Granthom of Downtown Abbey.

Ordered five course meal option. First found out one of the selections was not available. First course was mediocre. Second was overly salty and again mediocre. Third was fish course, again overly salty with a taste that indicated an age just short of bad, meat course was good, but accompaniments again overly salty. Dessert once again mediocre. Wines were good, server knowledgeable. Time between courses averaged 20 minutes between finishing a course and receiving the next. As I told the server, something was badly off in the kitchen that night. Food wise, it was the poor experience one occasionally has in a chain restaurant in a strip mall. Did not expect it here.
A group of people were very loud and distracting at 630 PM on Saturday not at all enjoyable. I recommend to ask people if they mind a noisy place because we ere looking for a romantic dinner. Several other c couple were also uncomfortable. The service was great. When I got my lamb chop it was delicious but was cold. Thanks for checking
I decided to go with the 5 course chef’s choice and wine pairings for our meal and it was without a doubt the best pairing I have had here in the US I have only had two other meals this incredible and they were in Milan and Paris. Hats off to the chef and the service was incredible.
The price fix menus made it hard to pick 3 items.if you wanted a salad and an appetizer you could not order both. We had a better steak down the hill at. Ruth Chris. The desserts are wonderful and very unusual. it is a good place to go for a quite dinner on your first night here.

The food in the Biltmore Dining room was excellent as was the service and the ambience. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and our server, Scott, was really attentive to us through out the evening. I highly recommend it.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Dining Room Biltmore Estate. Finding it was not the easiest thing in the world but we allowed extra time for it and all was perfect. Good was absolutely fantastic. We went with the 5 course instead of the 3 to get a more varied sampling and were happy we did. Well worth the money. Comfortable and perfect setting and views. No rush to move you out as some places do. We were seated promptly at 5:30 and enjoyed our experience through dessert which concluded around 9. Planning to go back for our anniversary. Will need to purchase a day pass to Biltmore or spend the night at the hotel, either option would be well worth it. Danielle our waitress and all the other staff were outstanding!
Beautiful restaurant. Service was very attentive and all the dishes were very good. The Chef’s amuse bouche was very creative and tasty, as were all three courses in our fixed menus.
The setting was amazing but our particular waits were rather stiff with no personality The food was basically good and interesting but the soup and salon were over salted

Beautiful setting on the Biltmore Estate. Great service and food but pricey. But we chose it for the experience while vacationing at Biltmore.
My wife and I spent our 50th wedding ten years ago, we came back to spend our 60th the hotel service was excellent as before. The dining experience was not so, the buffet breakfast was fair nothing to write home about. The dining experience in the formal dining room on our anniversary night was something to be desired. We both ordered the filet steak which was room temperature at best, my wife had to send hers' back because there was a long hair under her steak, for a 200 dollar meal we were expecting a little more.
It was nothing like we had experienced ten years ago, you would think after finding a hair in the food a manager would of come to the table and apologized. Needs to be check on!
The staff at the Inn at Biltmore Estate are the best and truly amazing professionals. The Dining Room staff exemplify this. The food quality and selection is top notch. Many of the produce and meats are grown and raised on the Estate. Staffing levels are high and the training must be top notch. Our Head Waiter Hank took care of everything and anticipated all our needs. Be sure to make this a must on your next visit to Biltmore.
