Great experience with exquisite food and excellent service.

Waitstaff was a great as the setting. The view over the Sound and the feel of the room is amazing.
Food was cooked perfectly and the menu had some fun choices.

Aside from the food (which was extremely tasty), the most memorable experience was the exceptional service we received from our server. She was, funny, polite, knowledgeable and most of all had a fantastic attitude. Will definitely be back.

Food was amazing and the service was outstanding. If you want a high class meal in an intimate environment, this is your place.

The server took a while to come to our table. The service was good - he was cheerful and apologetic but it took us a while to get the bill too

My wife has a nut allergy The desert menu had nuts but the menu or waiter never mentioned it She kept away from the peanut part of desert but she still got violently sick on the way home Everything was great until then

i visit Oak Bay Beach Hotel regularly for coffee, before the renos started, and for different meals. When we come as a family with a toddler we are usually at the family table outside the dining room, which is also perfect and relaxing. ALL staff members of the hotel make us welcome. The food, view and entire experience is exceptional.

My wife and I spent a very fine evening at the restaurant. The service was both friendly and impeccable. The food quite excellent and the minor tipple with an Italian wine pleasant. The ambience is overall very good, although because the space is small sound from more ebullient guests tends to carry. To the extent that this was an irritant it resolved when one set of guests moved on. The value is good at least for the occasional evening out in our case. We would certainly recommend friends try the restaurant at least for special occasions.

Fabulous service, meal and view. Stunning scene as we watched storm brewing on ocean. Great being able to park easily in parkade underneath. Friendly staff.

I alwaysw enjoy the Oal Bay Beach dinning room Everything abolut it is very good, We are reletively infrequent dinners there but the waiter remembers us and knows oru preferences. I recommend it high;y.

A lovely location with glorious outlook over the ocean. However, we found service to be less than expected for an up market facility. One of my guests received cold coffee which was a poor start. Our menu selections were good but not memorable. The Bennies were hard despite specifying soft. Coffee quality good once the first issue resolved. I would expect servers to know which item is delivered to which seat location in this standard of dining. I do believe training would help in this respect. We loved the ambience, but work is needed to leave guests with a memorable experience and reason to return.

We had a romantic dinner and our waiter, Michael, was very friendly and attentive. We both had the coconut crab bisque and the seafood spaghetti and they were fantastic!

terrible waitress and the manager was not much better. My daughter is diabetic and asked for eggs Benedict, oil & vinegar dressing and hollandaise on the side, no cranberries with the salad.
The waitress brought the balsamic dressing not oil & vinegar my daughter tasted it and it tasted like it had sugar the waitress said definitely no sugar so she put the dressing on her salad. My daughter still felt it had sugar the waitress argued about sugar in the dressing, she reluctantly brought oil & vinegar. We said she already put the balsamic on the salad. the waitress hesitated then said well do you want a new salad. My daughter was embarrassed and declined. We both left hungry from her birthday lunch. the waitress also spilt a flute of prosecco down the back of an old lady at the table behind us, the waitress said "sorry about that" and left, my daughter helped move the chairs around so the lady wasn't sitting on a wet chair, everyone was trying to help with her soaked sweater. the manager showed up and I think gave her a drink, didn't offer to dry clean the sweater or take her lunch off the bill. I was shocked at the poor service both we and the other table received. the waitress could care less if my daughter was diabetic and concerned about the sugar. No I will not recommend OB Beach Hotel.

Nice place for hotel guests to have a fine dinner. The seafood spagatii was nice and the service was beyond good.
The dining room was with nice view but relatively small, and maybe just me, but the light/candle was a bit too dim.
Overall a good place!

If you’re in the area, make sure to dine here. Seems unassuming, however the service and food are impeccable. 3 months later and we still talk about how much we endnotes our dinner here.

Great environment. Expensive, but I am assuming part of the cost is being located in a high-end hotel. Food was good, chowder was excellent. Service was friendly and quick. Parking is complimentary, which is a welcome surprise. Menu for lunch was not the same as on the website so disappointed. However, given the option of the pub menu which saved the day. Chef's Menu of steak is only available at lunch during the weekdays. Why is that? $100 for 3 for lunch seemed steep especially as we only drank water and two of our meals were eggs.

It is s lovely small restaurant. The views are nice, service attentive, and food excellent. My only complaint is that the dessert selection was unimaginative and boring. When going out for a special dinner in a beautiful hotel there should be appropriate dessert choices.

What a lovely time @ the Oak Bay Beach Hotel. We stopped by to Have a lovely sea view lunch with my wife, myself, and my mother in law. We enjoyed it thoroughly and we absolutely raced about the food. What a wonderful atmosphere, beautiful sea view, and the staff were exceptional. Will definitely be back. Thank You

We celebrated our 32nd wedding
anniversary at the hotel and a wonderful time and fabulous dinner. Our waiter was fantastic, very accommodating, helpful and so nice. We had a wonderful evening and would most definitely recommend this restaurant.

The food was excellent, the service top notch and the chef personally checked on the guests himself.

Ocean view was great,beet salad was recommended by waiter very helpful but the spaghetti was too much soup to effect taste.

Soup was a bit salty and had a tummy ache afterwards but the view, atmosphere and services were excellent.
