The Greek By Anatoli - Yaletown
Good menu and friendly service. Seating is too close together to be comfortable
The food was very good. Good service. Very warm in the area where we were seated
just a fun place to eat... clkse to the stadium so provides a great pre-game meal location... staff are good, efficient and have good sense of humour...
Our table was ready right away. Service was attentive (our waitress was super nice) and speedy without being invasive or rushed. And the food was delicious!
Best Greek restaurant in Vancouver
Amazing as always!
Asked the server to change the seasonal vegetables for a bit of Greek salad and she said sure. I received a very small portion of salad which was the perfect amount with my lamb dinner. When I received the bill I was charged $4 for the salad. It would have been nice to be told that at the time I was asking for the substitute. My lamb dinner was $32 so adding another $4 for a tiny bit of salad instead of veg was insulting and the server did not seem to care.
Really nice place, at a great location, serving some actual Greek food! The staff is very friendly and nice. Only gripe I have is, I asked for a pasticio, but received a mousaka, which looked delicious, but wasn't a pasticio! The pasticio did arrive some time later, and it was really very good.
Today is Canada Day! I was riding a bicycle at least two hours and super duper hungry. I made a reservation and have been there. There is a line up around 6:15pm and atmosphere in the restaurant is pretty good. We ordered mussels, souvlaki platter, and bottle of wine. Food was great and server concerned a lot. We had a great dinner in there.
Lots of servers but none seemed to know whether they were serving our table or not. Service was very delayed at a time when the restaurant was not even half full. Further training and professionalism seems to be required. Restaurant would like be more profitable if they increased service efficiency.
It was good
excellent food, the lamb was amazing and the platters were almost enough for four with a couple of sides a perfect dinner
I couldn't finish my moussaka as it was a little too salty
We made a reservation on the patio. They didn't provide us with on and instead placed us inside and gave a table of 7 the patio table.
Food was expensive for portion sizes and the quality.
Service wasn't great, uninformed staff, slow.
Let's start with the positives, good location nice decor, our server Maggie was nice. The food was acceptable, calamari good, Souvlaki was well seasoned , the rice was somewhat bland and vegetables varying between over and undercooked. The Moussaka, was good to the taste but somewhat dry in texture. The restaurant was extremely noisy, but that's just our personal tastes. When we ordered Maggie explained to us that they operated a mezze style service and everything comes out as its prepared, we are fine with that however the appetizers came out within 5 to minutes of each other but there was a 30 minuet wait after receipt of my entrée before my wife's turned up, one chap came over to apologize in the interim but to be honest I see this as totally unacceptable.
This is poor kitchen management, in addition there was nothing taken off the bill, as a result I did not tip! And will not return
I go often but I find the time it takes to take your order and get your first drink takes much longer than most restaurants. Doesn’t seem like anyone is managing the wait staff. This most recent time we actually had to go the host desk and ask for a waitress. That was after 15 minutes of no one showing up at the table. Still love the food.
service is terrible, they took almost 45 minutes to bring the food and they brought the appetizer with the food, service was the worst never asked for another drink even our glasses were empty and never took the dirty dishes away from our terrible, will never go back!!!!!
The Skewer Platter at $31 was a great value; it includes 4 skewers of protein of your choice, rice, lemon roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables in quantities sufficient to feed two adults following a high protein diet. The beef tenderloin was well worth the additional $1 / skewer and highly recommended! We are visiting Vancouver on an extended stay and shall certainly return.
Patio was awesome! Really enjoyed my time. Service too (from our server and the host that welcomed us) was 10/10. Would definitely come back!
Food is authentic and delicious. Great atmosphere and awesome service!
Music was absolutely terrible. Not only it was hip hop (or rap, whatever), it was a very very bad rap as well. Also it was completely misaligned with the general feel of the place.
Food is fantastic, service is great, but you should change the music, it is not a night club
The owner of this restaurant has no interest in his patrons. The noise level was way too high. More on a theme of a club. Asked to turn it down and the manager said the owner likes it that way. The owner was sitting at the bar, high on something chatting up a young girl.
Cant have a conversation so certainly not worth the money
Sat on the patio for happy hour on mother's day at 3 pm. Great prices for a happy hour menu.
The Greek By Anatoli - Yaletown was a solid spot to get some delicious Greek cuisine. Service was good for a Saturday night!
Such a good meal! Went during happy hour, which typically has small servings, but we left completely stuffed! Amazing!
I had the Braised rabbit dish with seasonal veggies. The rabbit dish had very little rabbit . Almost all orzo. Veggies were perfect. Very good service from our waitress.
Great service. But I think kitchen got little too busy, they brought one of our mains to another table.
But over all it was pretty good experience.
Increíble comida, gran sabor, los acompañamientos adecuados, solo un poco acelerado el servicio !!!
Hostess was quite terrible but our server was wonderful and made up for the terrible greeting or lack of greeting and service. Food doesn’t taste good as before, but still decent.
Food was very good but came out inconsistently with our friends dishes. But nice patio. Good service by Victoria.
Lively crowd and good food would go again for casual meal in Yaletown. Surprised that they don’t serve Greek coffee.
I had great lunch there, good food, good services, and reasonable price. I definitely come back and recommend.
Love it! The food was delicious and the service went above and beyond!
We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful Vancouver spring weather. This is the best Greek restaurant in the city!! Fresh ingredients! Food was delicious! Will definitely be coming back!
Liked the food. Liked the vibe. Enjoyed our evening.
Always great food and service...for us, a treat, as quite pricey.
High energy upbeat environment with great service and delicious food. We ordered the souvlaki platter. Plenty of food for the both of us.
Hello! I have ordered pretty much the same thing, shared platter, every time I go to dinner here because I absolutely love it! However, I have noticed that the chicken skewers have "shrunken". The pieces of chicken used to be bigger. Additionally, the amount of vegetables that come with it. Again, less vegetables. I'd love to know what happened and why this is happening?
Other than that, I love the taste and ambience of this place!
Had a great time. Reserved and were seated promptly. Came on a Friday night and it was packed with quite a few loud groups having a great time. As a couple we might prefer a quieter week night but it did not detract from our experience much. Ordered several different things and really enjoyed everything with the exception of our souvlaki meats. We tried the beef, pork and chicken in a combo and found the pork and chicken to be overdone and burnt for our taste. Our server was excellent and everything she recommended was fantastic including the house red wine which we really enjoyed. Will definitely be our “go to” for Greek food in the city.
We had a great time. The music was great and the food was delish. 😊
