The Paella was terrible. Maybe my expectations were too high as I have eaten Paella in Spain. But the rice was steaming hot and the meat was suspiciously cold. It was like they cooked the rice but then microwaved the meat. There were 4 of us and although we spent $65 on the dish we could not eat it. I learned a valuable lesson though-in Spain and in other restaurants that serve Paella we are always told that it will take 30 minutes. Here it took less than 10 minutes to get to our table. Maybe other dishes are good we didn't try anything else. Ambiance good.
Sebastian is great! Thanks for a wonderful re-introduction to fine dining in-restaurant, after 9 weeks of isolation!
Food is always outstanding.
Enjoyed wine and nibbles on the patio. Perfect evening in Greenville. The Brussel sprouts and truffle fries so very good! Nice selection of wine too.
Still our favorite spot downtown! The quality of food and service is the best!
Great experience all around!
Great food taking safety seriously felt very comfortable my server was outstanding. Thank You!
Patio dining well spaced, very comfortable. Staff very polite and as usual, outstanding menu. Portions perfect to share. Highly recommend.
We love the food at The Lazy Goat always consistent and presentation fantastic. They are limited with what they can do and still manage to pull off a great meal. They are our go to Greenville restaurant!
Everything was super clean and sanitary! Felt very safe eating there!
Waitress was great sat outside they let you bring dogs on patio and outstanding food!
Lovely, as always. Our first meal out since the state closed. Jennifer took great care of us.
Wonderful food. Look forward to returning.
I took my wife to Lazy Goat to celebrate her birthday. Let me tell you, the Lazy Goat restaurant not only shines for her key location, but they have great food, great atmosphere and great customer service! I highly recommend them. In addition. My wife got a free dessert on the house! It was delicious :)
I had the short rib dinner. Yummy! And then I had the chocolate torte for dessert. Equally as yummy. The waiter was super organized and wonderful.
Outstanding food and service. We will definitely be back in the near future. The octopus appetizer and sous vide short rib were the highlights.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Will definitely go back.
Despite good food and great service, the experience was ruined by the poor accommodation for our adult daughter who was in a wheel chair. Apparently the only way to access the dining area was by taking an elevator from outside the building and then wending her way through a utility area partially blocked by cleaning equipment. Inexcusable in today’s world.
Great setting and service but food was awful. Steak over cooked, tough. Scallops undercooked and bland. Very disappointing.
Had always wanted to go, and so glad we finally made it. Samantha was our waitress. She made a great wine selection, was attentive, but not overly so, she was knowledgeable about the cuisine, and made sure we made it out in time for the play. I had some issues with some of the food prep, but overall there was a decent amount of food options, and I would definitely go back.
We visited at 4:30 in the afternoon, so I cannot speak to how the restaurant would be if filled with people. Overall it was an enjoyable meal.
Thank you for your feedback. We are so glad you had an enjoyable meal and look forward to seeing you again soon! Jo Vanvick General Manager The Lazy Goat
Wonderful meal and such friendly service! Food was top notch! Great first experience!
Food was very good, ambiance was also as advertisedised. However, the server seemed preoccupied. Took awhile to have our sangria made tableware. After our meal which was very good. The server immediately brought our check without asking if we wanted coffee or desert. Which we would have purchased. We decided to go someplace else for desert.
Delicious food, terrible service.
Great food and great variety. Delayed seating (with reservations) due to overages. Wait staff was overloaded and barely had time to check in on us.
Lovely building but less than decor. Pity really.
Weird ‘collection’ of cheap clocks on the wall. That said, 4 diners:
My son’s pasta got rave reviews, and the building is excellent as a shell... otherwise: Pizza was terrible. (All my kids liked Brussels sprouts.) Our server seemed tired and overworked. This is our second time here and I had hoped the first time was an off night. Can’t imagine trying it again.
Nice meal and excellent service. Restaurant was very noisy and at times amid raucous laughter at a nearby table I could not hear my wife speaking to me and vice versa. You really need some soundproofing.
Thank you for your feedback. We are constantly making improvements and adjustments and value your comments. My apologies for the noise level. We are so happy to hear you did have a nice meal with excellent service. We hope to see you again soon! Jo Vanvick General Manager
