The Lazy Goat
Very good. We will go back another time. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Delicious food and great service! Fried goat cheese appetizer and blackened tahini chicken were especially divine.
Our food and our server were both excellent! Our server offered great suggestions and was right on all of them.
Awesome night out , food was fantastic ... listen to the waiter/ waitress went with their recommendations & didn’t steer us wrong
Appetizers were amazing. Main courses were ok. I’d probably just eat from the appetizer menu moving forward.
Had the restaurant week menu. We both had the sea bass which was excellent. Service was great.
Had the Lazy Paella, it was very salty.
We have been to Lazy Goat on several occasions. We enjoy the restaurant enough that we booked this reservation for our wedding anniversary. We thought we knew what to expect, but this time the food and the service were exceptional.
Matt, our server, was one of the most personable and attentive waiters I have met. His recommendations were perfect. The food and wine pairings were wonderful. The new general manager stopped by to check on us and wish us a happy anniversary. We will definitely be back.
Wonderful food, service, and experience always!
As always, a delicious meal and great service. A bit noisy because of a large party of apparently deaf people who had to yell at each other to be heard 😑
Business partner made the recommendation. Friend and I were going to Greenville only for the night. She’s a vegan and pregnant - so we were DELIGHTED 2 find the generous menu options for her diet considerations. The kitchen happily prepared a modifies brussel sprout app to suit us both.
I, of course had 2 nice glasses of wine of the waiter’s suggestion Along with the delicious tagliatelle!
The lazy goat will be on my short list next visit to Greenville!!!!
Everything was excellent. Both my wife and sister feel the same. It made for a perfect day after being at the Peace Center.
Very nice place for dinner before a Peace Center performance. The Brussels sprouts were WONDERFUL!
The most enjoyable part of a dining experience at the Lazy Goat is unquestionably the ambiance. All sides look out onto the Falls, Reedy Creek, and the beautifully landscaped Falls River Park area. It is also within walking distance from the Peace Center and S. Main St attractions.
Our meal, however, was at best merely "so so." Even though we thought we had allowed ample time, because we were seated later than our reservation time, we ended being up pressed so made sure to choose something we hoped would be simple and quick--a Greek salad plus a protein addition. This consists of a large quantity of unseasoned quinoa, topped with a small quantity of salad greens, a few tomatoes, and very few Greek Olives and pepperoncini. The dressing was tasty as were the proteins. Chicken and steak were well-prepared and seasoned.
Our server, Foster, was very attentive and helpful and on this score we had no complaints.
Would we choose it again? I am not sure but if so we certainly would make a different menu selection.
Excellent all around. If you are in Greenville this is a must stop for a dinner
Overall, a good experience. Our waiter was just really hard to find constantly. I’ve been to lazy goat many times but this was the worst service so far.
Drove up from Hickory to meet a friend who drive in from Atlanta - this will be our new go to meeting place! Food was amazing and the staff was helpful and well versed on the menu
I wish I could remember our servers name but I cannot. He was outstanding with great food recommendations, outstanding service and professional demeanor. The food was delicious, the ambiance was perfect and the quality time spent with our family will he remembered forever.
Enjoyed New Year Eve Dinner!
42nd anniversary. It was awesome. Server was excellent, welcoming and very knowledgeable.
Good food, but Moroccan lamb served unheated. Waiter was pleasant and hard working.
We are always happy with our food choices and the service was wonderful.
Great food, service was excellent (Clark). Portion sizes for apps and entrees also very plentiful. Overall very very good
Excellent food and wine. Plates were small portions but tasted superb. Staff very helpful. Charcuterie board could use some condiments and an explanation of meats and cheeses from kitchen staff that delivered plate.
Service was excellent - as was the food! Very enjoyable dinner all around! And half priced bottles of wine was pretty nice too.
Clark was a great server
Food could have been warmer. Not a fan of the sauces on the brussel sprouts. It was difficult to find the octopus among the potatoes and gravy. Long time diner here. Something has changed.
Service was SLOW. Appetizers were cold when they finally arrived. There were only three other tables being served. I don’t think I’ll go back.
Great service. It was our anniversary and they made it a special night with where we sat and giving us a special designed dessert with Happy Anniversary.
The Lazy Goat has become a favorite place for me and my granddaughter before going to a show. I have only one issue and it is not just at the Lazy Goat but all downtown restaurants. I feel that $10 for a glass of wine that I know as I am a chef is too much for a 10 dollar a bottle at retail wine. It really doesnt allow a person to have a second glass as 20 dollars is too much plus food for one person. I feel they should at least offer a reasonable price wine at 7 dollars.
Our server, Max, made the evening most wonderful - from the personal greeting to his dining recommendations and attentive service, Max was on point. We ordered the short ribs and every bite was perfection! It was a great anniversary celebration! Thanks!
It was a great quick dinner before we went to a show. Service was good and the food was great.
A very enjoyable evening with friends, great food and excellent service, plus a complimentary birthday dessert.
Exceptional service, great atmosphere, good wine, and great dessert. Paella lacked flavor but overall great place for a romantic date.
Everyone in our group of 6 ordered only appetizers for dinner and it took a good whole for them to come out. I had to ask for tea refills twice. Aside from that the food was really good once we got it. The Brussels sprouts were yummy as were the fried goat cheese and the shrimp.
Will probably return.
Wonderful dinner. Loved the lamb Lollipops. Really awesome!
Great! As always.
The food and experience were top notch! We were hosting out of town guests and were not disappointed.
We had to wait about 20 minutes for our reservation. No big deal. We sat at the small bar but they were too busy to serve us. Table service was great. The entrees were just OK really. The plating was sloppy and the sea bass was pretty bland. I believe they are capable of better. This was my 4th or 5th visit and I won’t give up on them.
It was absolutely perfect. Cozy, yet interesting. Warm yet roomy. Excellent service yet non intrusion. Perfect experience.
