The Loop Bar + Restaurant - West End

Had a fun time catching up with a college girlfriend of mine. We had a few drinks & shared some appetizers. Will definitely be coming back.

I had low expectations as I assumed this would be a shopping mall like dining experience, but the atmosphere was above average and the food was good. Nice place for a low key date with drinks and casual dinner.

Fun! The brunch was clutch!!

Just meh. Our server informed us that they we’re 3 servers down so he would be slow. We were Understanding but if by slow he met completely unavailable we would’ve never bothered to waste the money. The food itself was just OK. We tried to be patient and understanding but we waited over 25 minutes for our kids to get refills on their drinks and to get the french fries they ordered with their meal. I don’t think they were even put into the system. My husband and I also ordered a second round of cocktails but they never came. We were there for over 90 minutes. The manager came by, gave us our bill and apologized but that was it. I had one of the salads, it was super light on any toppings and was bland. My husband had the juicy loopy. It looked good but was not cooked in the middle (whole point of the sandwich) we won’t be back

Lovely evening on the patio. Great server, Hilary I believe, and fun to a nice couple share their black labs with us. A little doggie love during dinner is always nice. PS the sweet potato fries were PERFECT.

The service was initially good and then poor with a new server. I was very uncomfortable as the restaurant filled up with way too many people and most not wearing masks. We were at a booth near the bar and people were practically in our booth by the time we finally got our bill and left.

We had a training server so things were a little slower but it wasn’t a problem at all. Ambiance is very fireplace vibes mixed in with turn up vibes - overall feel good. The food is flavorful and cooked properly. I would recommend The Loop West End to anyone looking for a date spot or a night out with friends.

They have a great menu and especially like the appetizer selection. Generous portions and great tasting. This place never disappoints.

Consisten menu, nicely spaced sidewalk tables with overhead heaters and attentive stafff even tho we didn’t order full meals. Enjoyable evening

The food was great as usual and kaitlin’s service was exceptional. She was very busy but made sure we had everything we needed.

Ate dinner on the patio. When I checked in, the inside restaurant was practically empty. About an hour late, the inside was PACKED with drunk young people who were, at least, 5 people deep surrounding the bar. No one was wearing a mask. Everyone was standing on top of each other. The restroom had 6 guys who were very very drunk. I'm guessing a party bus (or two) pulled up and the management didn't want to turn down the business. But THIS is the reason COVID is getting passed around like it is. The city should shut this business down asap!

Our server was great! The food was eh. Buffalo chicken dip was more like a cheese dip, would not recommend. Juicy Loopy was not so good. Mac and cheese was so good! Desserts were yummy. Fun spot, but the food was a bit underwhelming.

Sauces on Asian main dishes way too salty. Sent back food and ordered calamari to eat instead.

This was a brunch date with a friend. We appreciated staff switching us to another table that wasn’t in the immediate vicinity of the door. At the time I wonders why we were given that table vs one of many more that had better, safer distancing. My Huevos Rancheros were great! However, I asked for no cilantro and it came on it. Disappointing but easy to remove it. My friend had the jambalaya and said it was very good but the slices of sausage and whole shrimp made it difficult to eat as they needed to be cut with a knife.
Otherwise we had a nice outside brunch and I plan to go back.

Operating very well under the circumstances. Slightly limited menu. My chicken sandwich was nice and spicy iand very moist and tender.

First dining experience in 4 months. And this made my time worth it. Our hostess was awesome. I have not seen that kind of customer experience in a long time. The food really good. And sitting outside was awesome. Don't miss out on this great restaurant

Everything was great. I felt safe and well taken care of. Staff was great, people were seated far enough away. I was already a fan, but I'm very impressed with the way they reopened.
