Always a great time, fantastic service, and amazing food

The service was awesome and so were our meals. That was our first time there and we will definitely go back.

I came here for the first time, with my husband, to celebrate my 23rd birthday and it was amazing! The service was on point and the atmosphere was beautiful.

The food was outstanding and we ordered many things from the menu. Everything had an unique taste that caused your mouth to want more and more. Portion sizes were large. Stephen provided awesome service! Definitely going back again.

My friend and I had a marvelous evening from the greeting at the door, through to the last course. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable of the extensive Whiskey & Bourbon offerings. The steaks were perfectly seasoned and the squash side dish was especially tasty. Would highly recommend as a place to enjoy and relaxing atmosphere.

A wonderful experience. Great care was taken to make sure our food was just perfect. The restaurant exudes classic Kansas City history. A truly impressive list of wine and other spirits as well. I look forward to returning.

Honestly, I was disappointed. My wife and I had never been to the Majestic, and it was her birthday, so we decided to try it. She ordered Salmon (the special), and it was not cooked in the middle. They sent it back to recook it, and it didn't come back out much better. I ordered the 32 day aged ribeye. It wasn't what I was hoping for. It was decent, but I have always heard great things about Majestic steaks. The sides were good, but overall it was not worth a second visit.

We love the Majestic. We have been there many times and have never had poor service or bad food. We love the unique ambience and live music and of course, the outstanding food.

We came to celebrate our anniversary that night. We loved the architecture and history of the building.
We were there only ones there until one other table of 3 came in.
We were not asked if we wanted to be taken to the dining room where the live jazz music was being played. We thought maybe the music was canceled. It wasn't but not asked.
The waiter Barbe was pleasant. My husband had done some research before we came and accessed your whiskey list prior to coming. He asked for the Pappy Van Winkle. The waiter told him the price which was far more expensive than it was listed on your website. My husband showed him the list on the web page. Waiter did not offer to honor that price.
Shrimp appetizer was amazing!
Wedge salad was brown on the edges and not fresh looking at all.
We both ordered the bone in filet and they were cooked to perfection.
Desert was also well made and tasted great.
Overall it was a good experience. We spent over 200 so we felt the service regarding the whisky price difference should have been addressed and the wedge lettuce should have been fresher.

Food was incredible and service top-notch. I would definitely recommend!

Celebrating 1 year anniversary

Upscale dining at its best. Barbie is the man - he makes excellent recommendations and can also help with customizing drinks and mocktails, say for a super-pregnant woman out on her last hoorah! The jazz room piano was the perfect accompaniment to enjoy our evening out. We couldn't have asked for better... oh wait, and the food. The best filet mignon I've had in KC, sides are plentiful, and dessert a decadent treat. The entire experience is top-notch. If you can only get here once a year, it's worth it!

Had a very nice and relaxing dinner. They did a great job on spacing tables for social distancing and did not feel rushed at all. Excellent meal and service. Definitely a must go.

As always, the Majestic was a great experience and the food was amazing. We had the prime rib, filet, and seafood. They're on-point with the COVID sanctions and have a specific timeframe for cleaning. I just miss the whole jazz crew being there and the typical ambiance.

The steak was ordered medium. We wanted medium well and the server insisted there would be no pink in medium well and we like a touch of pink not mooing. So we went with the suggestion and it came out raw.. very disappointed. Both sides were burned, and the center was fresh off the cow.. for the money I spent I would not return. However great wine, soup was good, overly priced for the half portion..

By far, The Majestic is my favorite steak house in Kansas City. The steak is always delicious and perfectly cooked. And the live jazz music makes it even more special. The staff is always attentive and polite. We return as often as possible!

Took my wife to The Majestic for her Birthday. She loved it. My steak was delicious. She had the scallops, shrimp with garlic grits. She couldn’t stop talking about how much she enjoyed it. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Thank you all for a great evening.

Went here for my anniversary and our server Steven was very attentive and knowledgeable. I ordered the lamb and it was tender and delicious. The piano player in the corner was very enjoyable. We are excited to find another occasion to return soon.

The Majestic offers live jazz music and serves great food. It was an outstanding choice for my wedding anniversary.
