   High quality cuts of meat, delicious pretzel bread dippers for the cheese fondue, yummy chocolate fondue and dippers, great service. That's the good part. The bad: way overpriced, we spent nearly $500 for five people + a tip over 20%. That included only two alcoholic drinks. Cheese fondue is not generous enough in the portions. The men's bathroom floor is always sticky and less than clean. What's up with that?

   Reserved a table for 6 and received confirmation for our party twice prior to Mother's Day. The hostess attempted to seat us in a 4 person booth. Prior to be taken to our table, they called for our party by our name. When we got to our table and advised the table would not work, we were basically told that we confirmed for a party of 4 and that was all they had. I showed several employees (not sure if any were management) my confirmations. Turned out they erred and were trying to sit a party by a different name. After our table was corrected we did get apologies but nothing else. We felt rushed as the error caused some delay in starting our meal. Our waitress was great but once she got our payment she never came back. We had to ask another waiter for to-go containers. Mother's Day was very busy and we respect this situation for the restaurant. However, the error getting seated really but a damper on our evening and the push to get us out was just a bummer. The Melting Pot is not cheap, especially when forced to do a PreFix menu. We should not have left feeling this way. We like[d] the Melting Pot but I think we are done for good. We tried the Portland OR location less than 6 months ago and was just not impressed with the whole experience. This, on top of our experience in Albuquerque for Mother's Day, finally made us realize we are done.

   Could not handle Mother’s Day volume. Kitchen was apparently having issues, at least you would think the service for drinks etc. would make up for the wait, but we waited 30 minutes for drinks and after the manager checked on us it took another 30 minutes to even get waters. Over an hour for any drinks. Would have been great to at least received an apology for the extremely unacceptable wait.

   For a Mother’s Day special, we we left lacking and felt the food and service was under par. Our waiter forgot about us several times and even forgot our salad course. Brought out our broth for cooking our meats and left us staring at it for over 25mins, to the point that a good amount had evaporated. Our glasses were left empty and we had to ask another server for refills. The fastest thing to arrive at our table was the check. Highly disappointed.

   We love Melting Pot. My wife and I have probably gone 100 times over our lifetime in many different states. However, we will never be going on Mother's Day again. The service, which is normally a very high standard, was terrible. Our server would leave us for long periods of time and we had to ask multiple times for pretty much everything, even drinks. We'd finish a course and two of the three times it was over 10 minutes until he came back to clear. The portions were less than normal, as well, and the food quality was lower than normal. Our cheese course was brought to us already congealed, as it was obvious they were just making them in bulk. To top all of this off, they charged us *more* than the normal price for a 4 course meal. This Melting Pot is fine, in general. But avoid days where they offer a limited menu. It was 20-25% more in cost for a vastly lower quality of food and service.

   Went for mother's day. Online reservation gave option to not do the mother's day special but restraunt was only allowing the mother's day special. I'm not a big fan of the 4 course meal especially when they limit your choices. The seat in the booth we were at is broken and when you sit, you completely sink into a hole. This needs fixed. Waiter although nice, was slow to come around and just dropped food off with no explanation of what stuff was (we had been there before but it had been over a year so it was a guess what sauces were what and stuff). He didn't check back to see if Temps were right and if drinks were filled (long wait for one member to get drink filled). Other waitstaff kept walking by and would glance at empty glass but kept walking. Overall an ok dinner but not up to the usual standards that usually come with eating at this restaurant. I would also suggest making it more clear that there are no other menu choices for online reservations.

    The overall experience is what you go here for. The cheese fondue and dessert fondue are the highlights. Everything else is meh. Maybe we ordered the wrong cooking method? Possible. The meat portion of our meal was quite a let down. It lacked salt and overall flavor. The teriyaki steak was tasty but the rest was pretty boring. Service was not stellar.

    Paul is always such an amazing server. 5 stars on customer service and overall experience! My boyfriend and I are regulars all because of Paul and is outstanding service. Highly recommend this place, and make sure to ask for Paul!

    Thank you for making my beautiful girlfriend’s birthday amazing. It was her first time to the Melting Pot and she loved it. The service was super the drinks so good and food as always amazing. The flowers on the table really made it that much more special. Thanks again. It was a truly wonderful experience even more so because she had the time of her life.

    Waiter forgot about us for 20-30 minutes. Left us running late and had to speed thru main course and deserts. He apologized but it still put a time crunch into our evening.

    We decided to take friends out to celebrate birthdays - on Easter, I expected them to be swamped, but the restaurant was very quiet. The Melting Pot is an expensive treat, but the amount of food for the money is crazy. I am absolutely WOWED by the gluten free options - our server made it easy and was very attentive to those needs by one member of our party. The meal pace is slow; be prepared for a 2.5 hour meal to fully enjoy it. We did and we loved it. Our server was OUTSTANDING; he kept our glasses full, kept the table cleared, and kept the pacing perfect. The mixed drinks were great, we ordered a variety and liked them all with one exception. Our food quality was great - everything was fresh and we loved it all. Even the salads were very well done. 4 courses, including steak and shrimp, for $50 each feels extremely reasonable given the overal quality of our experience. It was a great afternoon of friends and conversation, and we'll be back.

    Overall we enjoyed our experience there. We were disappointed they were out of the Impossible Polpetts. When we asked about it , we were given extra mushroom raviolis. We were surprised the Garden Vegetable entree was the same price as the meat entree’s, it should be considerably less. One thing that we found reason enough not to go back is being asked to tip the kitchen to “provide them a livable wage”! Isn’t that YOUR responsibility! Pay all of your employees livable wages and stop expecting your customers to do it for you. Shame on you!

    The food is a fun and enjoyable experience, but what really stands out is the service. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. It's nice to have a place where you can really linger and talk to your dining partners without too much noise.

    Food is no longer prepared at table. Cheese fondue was cold and premixed, not fresh. Chocolate fondue was similar to cold Hershey’s syrup with a spoonful of peanut butter in the center. Burners did not heat up adequately to warm the fondue. This is not the Melting Pot experience of the past.

    Food and service were great, but the prices have gone up exponentially and the amount of fondue you receive has decreased. We ate all of the fondue without getting more dippers, which has never happened. Plus, the dippers you receive are not like what they used to be. We paid $45 per fondue. Too expensive for what you get. I understand economy is hard right now, but the prices were astronomical and ridiculous. We will not be returning and this used to be my favorite restaurant to splurge.

    Good for desserts! Sign up for specials online and club to get free Chocolate covered strawberries. The best is the white chocolate. Cheese Fondues also very good. Not a fan of cooking the food as it takes too long but nice for a one time experience.

    We have been to The Melting Pot on several occasions and everything has been great. However, on my most recent visit on 02/26/23 at 5:30 pm the service was very poor. We spent close to 3 hours completing our meal mostly due to the food coming out very slowly. As we are frequent dinners at this establishment, we were very disappointed.

    I asked my girlfriend to marry me. I took her to melting pot to celebrate. Food was excellent service was terrible. The waitress did not pay attention to us. She also did not turn the burner on for our fondue. I had to ask her multiple times for a drink. Each time she came to the table she quickly spouted off what she was delivering and then immediately disappeared. I am very disappointed in this because your restraunt charges a premium price. I am usually okay with it because it involves excellent service. I was very upset and felt like it ruined what was supposed to be a very special evening for myself and my fiance.

    Food tastes amazing! Only downfall, out of our party of 4, every single utensil was dirty & had soap scum on it. Quick fix but shouldn't have to look at the utensils assuming they were already cleaned. Atmosphere was very nice, service was really good, we really appreciated the different types of food.

    Better than prior, but ambiance needs work. I don't like hearing from someone from another area in the restaurant when I'm trying to enjoy a date night. Music in all areas may do better to avoid that. But that's more for the building owner's suggestion, everything else was ok.
