Valentine's Day only one menu choice.

As a frequent patron of The Melting Pot, I was not satisfied with this dining experience. The cheese had way too much beer in it and I felt the dining experience was rushed especially for the price. The only positive experience was the kind server everything else fell flat from what I normally experience when I dine at the Melting Pot.

Always a nice ambiance and excellent food with very attentive staff .

Though there were few people there, we rarely saw the wait staff and had to ask if we could order several times.

The owners are fantastic. Went for anniversary dinner. Quite an experience.

Our waiter Rannie was outstanding. He gave us the perfect balance of personal attention, available to address any need, while ensuring we never felt rushed and enjoyed the experience!

Everything was wonderful! The food was delicious, and the service was awesome! We have zero complaints.

They always treat us like gold whenever we come. I love Melting Pot, especially their location. They remember what my daughter and I order and the little nuanced preferences we have. It’s such a nice touch and makes us feel extra special every tine we dine. They also have a great setup to ensure we and other customers are safe when we done there.

Our server was awesome! Still want to bring back the sherry spinach and mushroom salad from a few years ago. It was my favorite! Social distancing is easy because of the intimacy of the booth configuration.

We celebrated our daughter’s 11th birthday there.

We’ve been coming to the MP since our first wedding anniversary in 1996. At that time, the restaurant was in Rockville. We continued to come for family special occasions after the move up 270. I must admit there were a few years we almost stopped coming. We felt the service, the food portions and quality had diminished. I always contacted the manager to express my concerns and they worked hard to gain back our trust.
On Saturday, we returned to the MP for our 25th wedding anniversary with our adult children. I can’t imagine a better afternoon! Everything was fantastic! Our server was one of the finest we’ve had. We warned him that we are a crazy family and would make it a memorable day. The food, the atmosphere, EVERYTHING was perfect! The MP is back to the top of our list! We’ll be back for my husbands birthday in October! 💝

Might have been the perfect date night. I can't recommend it enough for people looking to celebrate a special occasion or just needed some way to treat their loved one.

Daughters 21st Birthday

Went for restaurant week.great food and better service. I like the cheese and chocolate fondue the best.

We went on a Friday night for dessert and our waitress was terrible. We had to flag her down for everything, including napkins because we never received any. She never checked to see if we needed anything. She didn't ask if we had every been there (luckily we had) and gave no directions how how to use the fondue pot. Never asked if we wanted more of anything. Was overall just not good!

Another great trip to TMP. They really have COVID service down. It's the TMP we know and love. Food and drinks are great. Service is top notch. Nothing is missing.

Good food, great service. Logan was our waiter and we had no complaints at all; very kind and attentive. Always a little pricey, but you go for the experience so it’s expected.

It kinda depends on what server you have... sometimes the cheese is well made - that is not watery or any taste.
I’ve had times where the cheese tasted great and sometimes ( most often) tasteless and or watery.

The chocolate always comes out cold and takes forever to heat up. the tray of treats that come with the chocolate is not that great. The fruit has been sitting in the fridge to long and the brownies are very cold.

The main entree needs work- good quality but way to small a portion and maybe take out the cooking in the pot and just do the grill.

Our go to place for birthday and other celebrations. It's a place to dine; relaxed and unhurried you can enjoy the company. You can easily chat over fondue.

My husband and I enjoyed our first date night since quarantine; we felt completely safe. We entered with our masks and then once at the table were able to remove our masks and enjoy a delicious dinner. Our waiter was great; he wore gloves and a mask the whole time.

Finally went out post COVID lockdown. Was tentative about what the experience would be like. It felt like TMP I was used to. Except the server wore a mask. Other than that, everything was just as it should have been. Food was great, service was quick. I felt very safe and comfortable. We had a great time!

We came for Father’s Day and overall enjoyed a great day! Service was very slow for how few tables were filled. We waited over 30 minutes before our order was taken. Despite this, we enjoyed the rest of our meal and I think our server realized how slow service was and made up for it by upgrading the size of chocolate fondue at the end.

I took my daughter for her 19th birthday. Neither of us had been to the Melting Pot before. The experience, fondues, entree, waiter (Jose) and ambiance were spectacular! You pay more for the experience than anything. We had a fabulous experience!!

Waiting tables is a tuff job, but we were at the restaurant 2.5 hrs- lots of time waiting on our server with large time gaps where he disappeared. He never showed to drop the check. The cheese and dessert fondue are always fun and usually good, the entree of meats usually leaves much to be desired. The filet was full of fat and tuff a leather. We go because the kids like it.

Love the atmosphere of this restaurant. It's cozy and private. The food is scrumptious. I can't wait to return.

Great meal, as always. Arrangement of tables makes it feel very private but also hard to get the attention of a server. Don’t expect to be in and out in under an hour as the whole experience is designed for you to slowly enjoy the food and conversation. This is our go-to place for family celebrations.

It was our first time eating at The Melting Pot. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable about the menu. She explained how to order and gave great suggestions! She was also very attentive. The restaurant itself was a bit too dark for my liking, as it made things hard to read/see. But overall, we had a great time and will definitely be going back!

Valentines day

Service and food were great. Plenty to eat with their 4 course meal. Tom did great. Great for special occasions

Had a singles girls night, it was a lot of fun. Food was good, drinks were good and our server was wonderful.

We’re regulars to the Melting Pot and always enjoy a nice elegant meal. This time was no exception. Our server, Jose, made it fun with his energetic and funny personality.
