   We arrived well before our reservation and had to wait 45 minutes after our reservation to be seated which made us late for other plans. After asking about how much longer we would need to wait for a table we were told 5-10 mins and waited at least 20 mins. Don’t expect your reserved time to mean much and expect a long wait after your reserved time.

   The whole experience was excellent! The bar wait staff, the server, and the management we interacted with throughout our dinner were all so attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful all with a smile and gracious attitude!! I would highly recommend having a pleasant evening here no matter the occasion, with a special air/ambience that lends well to celebratory buzz if your party is gathering for a special event or birthday/anniversary dinner, et cetera. Food was excellent as well throughout each of the four courses. Have fun, you will not regret going!

   After reading prior reviews, my party decided to dine here. We enjoy eating at restaurants and while normally do not leave negative reviews, I felt the need to provide information to the next potential patron. The restaurant is in the basement with an open ceiling, black paint and dark lighting. But with the crumbs, open wires, and worn rug, the vibe is more tattered vs hip. As for the food, if you like boiled meat, potatoes and broccoli, this may be for you. We expected oil vs flavorless broth to cook the meat. Unfortunately boiled meat, veggies and fish turn out exactly as you would think…grey and mushy. Same with potatoes and most people have long since stopped boiling broccoli. Super disappointing main course. Cheese course was predefined with a strong wine flavored cheese that we didn’t care for and you were not allowed to choose an alternate. Perhaps other flavors are better. The dessert (perhaps the whole reason why people go) was just ok. We were hoping for a big finish and ordered dark chocolate with marshmallow flambé. That translates to a glob of marshmallow fluff burnt black on one side. We enjoyed the fruit the best, all other dipping items were just ok. The bill for 2 with 2 cocktails was $220 with tip already built in strangely. Overall there are so many amazing restaurants in Knoxville where $220 would have been well spent. Regretting the waste of money.

   We love the Melting Pot! Every trip is always an amazing experience, and that's why we come back again and again. This trip was no different. The service of spectacular, the food was amazing. Only real complain we had was the noise. Since it's Mother's Day Weekend (we assume), a number of larger groups had toddlers with them -- toddlers who weren't controlled and made lots of noise. It's hard to enjoy a meal in an environment like this with screaming, crying children only feet away. My wife and I go here often precisely because we don't have lots of children around. So that was a bit of culture shock. All things being equal, though, still a good night out. We'll be back.

    Forbes was our server. She was awesome. The food was great. Can’t wait to go back. We had a snag w our grill plate not working for us and they switched us to a different cooking style with no issues to help us out. Mojo was delicious.

    Although a decent experience, this time at this location was lacking. Our waitress didn’t do a great job with our cheese and it was cold and clumpy. We had to ask for the garlic and wine seasoning and got it half way through the salads. Also, the dippers that come with the chocolate are skimpy now. We were missing several items we had just a few months ago. I think we will take a break from this restaurant…which is sad because it has always been one of our favorites.

    Everything was prefect for our late valentines day. They had our table ready for us. I had order the teddy bear, rose, and chocolate covered Strawberries. We had the cheese and chocolate. The veggies and bread was fresh. The turtle chocolate was amazing. All the different little treat they bring out with it. The chocolate covered Strawberries were the best we ever had. Is so tasty.     We had a wonderful server who took great care of us and included our 1 year old daughter in the fun by giving her apples and bananas. She would always check on us to make sure we had everything we needed as well as Miss Amelia while she was throwing food all over the floor. A wonderful belated Valentine's Day celebration

    My husband & I came here for Valentine's day & it was the best decision we ever made. The food, service, & ambiance was EXQUISITE!!!! Reagan is by far one of the best servers there. She was very caring, kind, smart, & made sure to make us feel comfortable eating there...even with my severe allergies. By far the best restaurant we have eaten at the Knoxville since moving here 2 years ago. I highly recommend this restaurant & Reagan as your server. Request her! You won't regret it.
