    We ordered 2 starters which were nice. When then ordered a roast beef and a steak and ale pie. We found a hair in the roast beef, then after mentioning and returning the dish back to us. I found the same short blonde strand of hair in my steak and ale pie. We didn’t want to eat any more of the food after. So we asked politely for the bill. We were shocked to find that they hadn’t taken any of the dishes off the bill seeing that we had hairs in our food I thought that we wouldn’t be paying. Also not eating any of it should have pointed out our discomfort. We were offered free desserts but we didn’t go there for a dessert. Shame really because it’s a lovely location and it started well with the starters. I was expecting more.

    The Old Inn was very busy when we arrived and being seated at our table was delayed because of this and the fact that the previous occupants had not vacated the table as they should of done. Having said that when we did get our table we did have a great evening with good food and very good service from the the staff who were all delightful despite being under obvious pressure.

    Archetypal English country pub set in a beautiful location. Boasting ample vehicle parking facilities, the staff are both friendly and welcoming. The menu is wide and offers something for everyone and the food, quite frankly, is simply delicious. We cannot praise or recommend this Inn high enough.

    visited as a couple in our 60s. We had starters of Scallops and Prawns both dishes were excellent. We followed with Chicken and Pizza (the hot pepperoni) with again both dishes being high quality and delicious. My wife has gluten and diary intolerance and the chef was happy to amend the scallop and chicken dishes to accommodate her. Service was fast and friendly. Overall this was an excellent visit to a lovely pub.

    Just fantastic every time we eat at the Old Inn. Fab food, lovely friendly service. I’d eat here every night if I could! Great selection of mains. I had the sea bass (full of flavour) and my husband really enjoyed the rib-eye steak.

    First time eating at the old inn, four of us went for a birthday lunch, we all really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent and all staff very friendly, I would recommend the Old Inn.

    Food was poor value we were put in the back and waitress was washing up knives and forks making so much noise and then with out asking put service charge on without asking . So many better value pubs around. Won’t be eating there again. Nice pub for a drink though

    I'd recommend the Old Inn to anyone, the staff are wonderful, very attentive and friendly. The food is great with plenty of choice. A great way to spend an afternoon

    Excellent food and service. A pint of coke is £4.00, that’s overpriced in my opinion, with the glass 2/3rd full of ice!! You can do better than this. Overall lovely service, not rushed and piping hot food.

    We booked to eat last minute on a Friday night. The booking online was easy. The pub was really busy so it took a while to get served however we were happy not to be rushed out the door like other places. When the food came it was really tasty and hot. The waiting staff were warm, friendly and professional. The atmosphere was very chilled. I'd recommend this place to friends.

    Excellent service and good food in a lovely setting. Why not include the 12.5% service charge in the cost of food and drink? It’s not optional and I might have felt inclined to leave a tip if service were included.

    Very pleasant meal out with friends. Can’t afford to go out much but this was a test. Very good food and excellent service and was allowed to take my dog in too. 10/10 👍

    Booked here very last minute and sat in the covered section outside (front)... Very chilled vibe with chilled music playing and a nice buzz around the place... Service was efficient and attentive. The food was lovely, with portions just right and good value for money... On a sunny day, it is worth booking the front section, having sat almost everywhere in this pub now, but generally. a really friendly, awesome place to visit, with amazing food, beer and chilled vibes...

    The Old Inn is so dependable.... A great menu, excellent quality dishes, superb level of service and an ambience that always delights. Sat outside and had a tremendous evening. Definitely a favorite place to go where everything is always just right.

    Lovely setting, good food, excellent service but far too expensive. £24 for a Sunday Roast. £8 for a small glass of wine. Although we like the Old Inn, and have been eating their for a number of years, they have now priced themselves out of the market.
