Great mid winter meal- cozy environment on porch- good service, cocktails. The food was well executed - scallops cooked to perfection.

Excellent service, older crowd, kind people, bad food!

The shrimp cocktail was spectacular. We could have licked the plate clean after finishing the filet tournedos au pouvre.

The food was great. The service was a bit slow but we were not in a hurry so it did not matter. Would recommend more for a couple's dinner than family place.

I had planned a trip to Maine and wasn't sure who would be open on Thanksgiving. The OpenTable app showed me this place and after reviewing the menu and reviews, I thought that it looked pretty good plus they had openings. I was not disappointed--the service was friendly and helpful, the food outstanding and a good value. It's not a pretentious place, very homey and welcoming. I would come back any time.

I went for my birthday with my boyfriend. I choose this place because I craved escargot- they did not disappoint.
Marcia was attentive and took lovely care of us.

The Old Village Inn is fabulous. The food was great, the service was fantastic and Marcia and Dean really know how to take care of you. A trip to Ogunquit would not be complete without a visit to OVI.

Whenever we go to see my son and his family we make it a point to dine at the Old Village Inn. We love the old New England styled ambiance and friendly and welcoming staff. The food is always very good and reasonably priced.

Second time eating at this restaurant. The first time was very good but this time it was great. The food was excellent and the wait staff very professional. Can’t wait to go back again. The dining room we were in was quiet well appointed and perfect for a relaxing dinner after enjoying the day in Olgunquit.

We had the best time- old school cozy building, especially the original rooms. Great service, friends folks, delicious food, reasonably priced wine. Such a good time. Don't miss the escargot and Filet.

Excellent food, great service only disappointments were no mussels or prime rib on Thursday October 15th. One entree was skimpy on the serving of pasta Have been a few times in the last two years and look forward to going there each year.

We had a really nice evening and enjoyed ourselves. Seating, ambience and service were perfect. Prices were not moderate but who wants to split hairs?

The OVI is a lovely spot for a delicious meal in a lovely historic building. It is completely charming and the food is excellent. We enjoyed our french onion soup, rack of lamb and pork schnitzel. The creme brûlée was delicious for dessert. Our server Chris was very friendly and efficient. It is so nice that some parts of Ogunquit remain unchanged through the years. We love this spot.

A Monday holiday and Ogunquit was very busy on the sidewalks. Walking in was like a step into a calm, pleasant and very clean atmosphere. We changed tables once, only due to a drafty window. The room we sat in had 2 other tables, very quiet and charming. Our waiter was FANTASTIC! Really top notch and the food was superb (rack of lamb and been tournedoes) We will return ASAP!

One of the finest restaurants in Ogunquit, with delightful ambiance, and delicious food. Try the creme brulee for dessert! Terrific seafood, pasta, steaks and foul!

They were very accommodating as we were 20 minutes early and seated us without any concerns. Appetizers were piping hot. My husband had the filet which was perfectly rare. I had the chicken Marsala which was also delicious. We hadn’t been here in 30 years but will now be back as soon as we can.

We’ve always had a wonderful meal and experience there. The service staff is great! They have a wonderful wine list and the the price of the bottles we’ve found to be right around the price you’d pay at the store. I recommend highly!

The food was as grand as we remembered, my wife had the duck and I had the excellent, fresh, stuffed haddock; the rolls were piping hot. It was as excellent as the meals we have had before there is no change in the food or the service.

We didn't call for a reservation until the same day and in this odd time we should have called days before, since all indoor seating was taken. We were outside in the parking lot, just in front of the Patio restaurant that faces the sea. It was a cool Fall night, so they had three propane fire-pit/torches and the ladies were given the option of fleece blankets. We were seated at 'black iron' tables such as you would have on a poolside or a deck and the tables were more than six feet apart so no worries about social distancing.

It was another grand meal at a grand restaurant!

Staple in Ogunquit. Best food and quality in town. Great menu with choices for all. You will never be disappointed eating here.

Great service. Haven’t eaten there for 25 years. The wait staff was friendly. I had the haddock stuffed with seafood stuffing. Very flavorful. My husband had the prime rib and it was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed dinner there so much we went back the next night. Highly recommend this restaurant
