I was informed after we had finished our appetizer that the side that came with my protein choice was not available. I substituted roast potatoes and they were very disappointing. They tasted bland, like boiled or microwaved potatoes that had been quickly browned. Some weren't even cooked through. I didn't mention it at the restaurant because I ate about half and they weren't awful, just disappointing. Shortages need to be mentioned at the time of ordering, I could of chosen something else.

We booked the reservations 90 minutes before the opening act for a concert at Rogers Place. 60 minutes after ordering our entrees, we were told they would be another 60 minute wait, so we didn’t have time to eat or even find another place to go eat since they wasted so much of our time before even telling us about the unreasonable delays. It ruined the entire evening. Terrible service and terrible communication.

We had 1.5 hrs for dinner before our concert. We still did not have drinks after 45 minutes, and our food hadn’t arrived 40 minutes after ordering it. Second set of drinks came 1/2 hour after ordering them. We had to get our meals to go and eat it on the way to the concert. Then the food was very salty. There is great ambience, both inside and on the patio.

Good food. They struggled with service and were understaffed, but they did try their best. It's worth noting that they should clean wine glasses better, every single one we received should not have been served to a client that way, IMO. Good overall, great ambiance, could be a 5-star place with some changes.

The worst experience I’ve had in a long time. Even though we had a reservation we were sat at a dirty table covered in crumbs. The hostess simply put our menus over top the mess. The service was incredibly slow and the food was mediocre. After waiting for our bill for over 20 minutes, I went and grabbed take out boxes myself and we had walked down to the door and waited there to pay. We will not be back.

We arrived a little late and they were nice enough to hold our seats at the bar. However, the service at the bar was far from attentive. Our pizzas took 40 mins to arrive after being ordered and they were dry and over cooked. Probably won’t return anytime soon.

The service was exceptionally slow. No blame to our server as she was excellent and friendly. But it was clear that the restaurant was critically understaffed. Took close to 45 minutes to get our first round of drinks and another 45 minutes to get our second. The food and ambiance was great but perhaps more staff should be hired for busy weekends. Perhaps offering higher wages will attract more staff.

Best server we have had there. One of our entree selections came out too spicy. He was prompt to remove it and saw that an alternate entree was selected and brought to our table. We found the second level to have a great view of the venue however the sound level up there was loud and beyond our ability to have a “date” conversation. They got us out on time to attend a concert at a nearby venue.

We have always loved this place but haven’t been in awhile. We noticed the service is a bit more casual and not as professional. And the decor is a little worn, the chairs need to be replaced for sure. Took some favourites off the menu but will have to come up with new ones now.

Found this place while trying to find a different place to got for a date. We both got pizza I sonny boy and she got the pineapple. We both included that it was probably some of the best pizza we've tried. Highly recommend this restaurant. I know I'll be going back.

Such slow service. Almost made us late getting to the game as the food took forever along with getting our bills. Overall I love this place but before any oiler games it’s slow. Give yourself a lot of time.

I took my husband out on a date to The Parlour before The Drowsy Chaperone musical at MacEwan University's Triffo Theatre on a Friday night. We had an enjoyable evening - the food was good, the Italian wine was delicious, our server was very attentive, accommodating and pleasant - she gave us the table that we preferred (even though the restaurant was packed) on the second floor overlooking the bar area. Thank you to The Parlour team for keeping the place busy with the life again.

It was our first time at the Parlour, service was good! Little slow due to the oiler game that night, but overall good. The Calamari was a bust unfortunately, it was all breading with not a lot of flavor. The pizza was great though.

Made a reservation and ended up in the lounge right next to the windows. Had to wear our jackets the whole time it was so cold. Took 1 hour for us to receive our appetizers because they prioritized skip the dishes orders over people in their restaurant, who I’m sure were spending more money than skip orders when you factor in drinks, etc. but maybe I’m just crazy. Food finally arrived over an hour later but only my meal came out. My wife had to wait another 10 minutes for hers. By the time we both had food mine was cold. They did comp us 2 drinks but honestly we’ve been comped more for a lot less problems. Not worth my while to ever go back, food was just ok, definitely overpriced for what you get.

This was a real disappointment. All 4 meals were terrible. Caesar salad was wilted lettuce. So discouraging!

I would recommend this restaurant to my friends, atmosphere was classy and inviting, service was great, the food was spectacular, this was my first time there and I am definitely gonna become a regular here. I was very impressed and I’m not an easy one to impress.
