Lovely pub, my first visit was the day before #LockDown2 but we will be returning once we are allowed back out by Boris!

Easy to book. A variety of dishes and made aware of specials as given menu. Accommodating for children and babies. Variety of drinks available.

Another fantastic meal at one of my favourite places. Took my mum for Sunday dinner as she used to go there when courting my dad over 40 years ago. Would highly recommend this place to anyone ...the food and service are outstanding and the views are something else

Great food, just lacked a. Little ambiance but it was Thursday lunch with only 4 other couples socially distance in the restaurant so no issue from the Covid-19 point of view 👍

The Rams head is a perfect dining experience. It offers a high level of service with a family friendly ambiance. Stuart runs a well organised restaurant with nothing left to chance and will always go the extra mile to make sure you enjoy every minute of your meal. 5 star all the way.

Absolutely our favourite place to go for Sunday Dinner. Great portions. Tasty and fresh. If you go try the onion loaf - it’s AMAZING (I need the recipe)!! The staff are so friendly. I couldn’t recommend this place enough

We dined there using a gift card from last Christmas and sadly we were disappointed with the experience. The menu was limited, maybe due to Covid-19. We felt it would have been preferable to include the children’s main dishes as options in the main menu. We were both disappointed with our choice of main course. The wine however was good. There was nothing there that would encourage us to return!

Any outing in these unprecedented times is always welcome. We treated ourselves to a Sunday evening out. On arrival all the safety measures were in place. We were shown to our table on arrival and our orders taken for drinks and food. The Rams Head has a lovely country feel - very welcoming. Our meals were served in good time, but not rushed. Goats Cheese Tart for me and Creamy Garlic Mushrooms for my wife. We both had the fish pie for mains. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. All in all a very pleasant evening. Will definitely return.

A long time since i last visited the Rams Head, i won't leave it so long until my next visit. The food was excellent and well presented, the staff were very friendly and attentive but were not intrusive. A perfect place for that special occasion

I felt that although the food was very nice it was too expensive. I know covid has had a massive effect on the restaurant trade but the public have had it hard too and therefore hiking prices up doesn’t sit well with people if you want them to return.

Excellent food, very welcoming, good social distancing in place and easy to follow. In these tough times would definitely recommend to people to help out businesses like this one.

It's the only place were my mouth waters when I think of the food they do, the pies are out of this world mmmmm mmmmm, basically if you want great food in great surroundings then look no further than here

A little pricey but you do get what you pay for.
Highly recommended especially if the weather is nice to sit outside watching the horses and enjoying the view before or after eating

We had a lovely meal in cosy surroundings and were served by attentive staff. Would highly recommend The Rams Head and will be revisiting soon.

Appreciate the COVID restrictions however service not made to feel at all welcome more of a hinderence. Food quality even with reduction in cost was very poor and only eaten as was hungry!

I thought the food was average i had a steak and chips, thought the chips and steak could have been cooked better and my wife had a burger and thought the same. we would not have liked to have paid full price

Fantastic food and service. The views from the restaurant are breathtaking. Went on the bank holiday and enjoyed the extensive range of specials. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent all round visit to the Ramshead staff friendly and welcoming and the food is top notch. I’d recommend a visit always wise to book ahead
