Ambience was great. The decor was immaculate and beautiful. The waiter was friendly and enthusiastic without being annoying. He was probably the best part of the dinner after the food! His recommendations were on point. Well worth the drive from Stratton!

Great food! Service was great, and a cool vibe

One of the better meals I have had in the last 10 years. There were four of us an everyone felt the same. Had the trout and it was spectacular. Two others had the scallops. Brie and lobster app was also outstanding. Great atmosphere on a cold winter night. We will be regulars.

Once again, our experience at the Reluctant Panther was excellent. The food is delicious and expertly and creatively prepared. Our crispy Brussel sprouts and bacon gnocchi appetizers and scallops and stuffed founder were wonderfully seasoned and cooked and beautifully presented. Finally, our warm desserts were unique and perfectly complemented our meals. Service from Thomas was very professional and friendly. A fantastic evening!

Lamb was excellent choice and the Steak was prepared perfectly.

This was our second time visiting the Reluctant Panther in 3 weeks. The food and service were both outstanding. Lovely quaint atmosphere for a night out in Manchester. It has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants in town.

Quality, unpretentious food and service in an intimate dining area. I could not ask for more.

It’s charming enough place although it doesn’t feel like a stand-alone restaurant - it definitely has that inn lobby feel to it. The lobster and Brie fondue is an absolute must. The beef short rib was decent but nothing special. My partner enjoyed the crab-stuffed trout although it was a bit salty for my taste. Dessert was good, as recommended by our waiter we had a dish called the apple hazelnut duet or something along those lines. The service was excellent and they‘re taking good COVID precautions. It‘s an expensive place, but the lobster and Brie fondue is really what makes it worth it.

The flavor and quality of the food was outstanding from the crispy brussels sprouts and gnocchi appetizers to the braised short ribs, grilled ribeye and seared lamb loin entrees. Portions are large. The atmosphere is lovely and tables are spaced very far from each other. We had our own dining alcove for our family of four with a fireplace making for a cozy and special dining experience. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The wine list is extensive...the best around. It was my family’s first time dining there but it won’t be our last! We have found our new favorite place in Manchester!

Exceptional food, top notch service, a totally pleasant experience from start to finish.

Dinner was simply outstanding, tables were very well separated, and staff in masks the full time. They were able to prepare everything gluten-free for my partner. Service was outstanding, the food awesome. If we're ever back in Manchester, this will be a top pick for dinner again!

Had a wonderful 2 couples dinner...food was very, very well prepared (try the trout stuffed with crab) and the service was very attentive, flexible, pleasant and not stuffy. With the fireplaces going the ambiance was superb...just really, really enjoyable.

The lobster Brie fondue was so delicious. My husband got the short rib for his meal and I got the crab stuffed trout. Unbelievable. Our waitress Terry was amazing and so attentive and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Excellent dining experience !

First time here and going back for sure. The food, service and personnel are amongst the best.

Such a great dinner! Even during a pandemic we felt very safe and far away from other diners. We sat in the patio and it was quiet and beautiful. We had the Brussel Sprouts and Beets as apps and they were really great. My husband had the fish and I had a steak. Both were cooked really well and were delicious. Overall, a really nice dinner!

The food was beyond our expectations.

The inn staff are all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Dinner in the dining room was fabulous as was the service. Our waiter Tom greeted us by saying "we're glad you're here"! The Chef, Sigal, chatted with us briefly before we ordered short ribs and scallops. Both were excellent! We finished by sharing the trio sorbet accompanied by lemon shortbread cookies. Sigal is a fabulous chef! This was our second stay and would definitely visit again!

Went for my boyfriends birthday and had a great overall experience. It was our first time eating inside since March and we felt completely safe. From the food to the service, everything was perfect. I wrote when booking on Open Table it was my boyfriends birthday but didn’t have a moment to tell the waitress and she still brought out a beautiful plate at the end that said Happy Birthday with delicious truffles. Would recommend 1000%

The staff was warm and engaging and the overall setting was very clean, comfortable and as welcoming as any other time we have visited. Social distancing was well maintained and strictly practiced. They were more than happy to adjust the plate to your liking and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our meal and our night out. Our only regret is that corona has changed their breakfast and that we were not guests at the Inn during our recent visit to the area. We won’t make that mistake again!!

Good dining experience during challenging Covid times. We showed up at the restaurant on time for our reservation and were promptly seated. Great server who knew the menu. Great cheese platter, good salad, and tasty "comfort food" chicken. Nice but not overwhelming wine list. Tables spaced out nicely, and they handled the flow of guests very well. Notable difference (positive) from another dining experience on this trip at the Copper Grouse at the Kimpton.
