The Rotunda by Neiman Marcus - Paramus

This is a great spot to get lunch. The crab cakes were filled with crab and delicious. The salmon was also great. The only negative is the chocolate chip cookie we purchased to go, was too hard and seemed like it wasn't made right..... The rest was great.

It was a wonderful day to celebrate a special birthday with good friends.

We always have a nice time at the Rotunda. The service is always excellent and attentive. I enjoy the complimentary little cup of broth they provide at the very beginning. It’s a nice touch. The puffy bread and tasty butter also is very good. The lunch I had was good, although the soufflé part of it was just okay. Still, I look forward to returning.

Marvelous experience. Excellent and attentive service. Food was delicious and we had a fabulous lunch. Will definitely return for another occasion soon.

We waited over an hour for a waiter and food. The food was cold and the order was wrong. It was terrible.

Very excellent atmosphere because of neutral colors, warm hued walls, fancy place mats and silverware, and Christmas decor. My family ordered the flatbread, chicken melt, grilled cheese, and salmon tacos. Everything was served in an amazing style. The popovers take awhile to receive because they don't like to let them cool down, the head chef in Texas stated that popovers can only come out straight from the oven with no substitutes which I think is genius, quality over quantity. Everything was excellent!

Very clean bright and airy environment as the skylights shower the restaurant with light. Good food, good service and nice place for a quiet lunch with fitness and clients. When you want something that’s nice but not the steakhouse, not the pub and not the chain restaurants.

Lovely place. Ambiance was nice. Unfortunately the food was not great. The chicken dish I had was over cooked. The chicken was hard and dried out.

Very quiet when we were there. Great service and our entrees were lovely. The famous popovers were unfortunately dry and overdone this time which was what knocked this review from 5 stars to four.

A perfect restaurant for Ladies Who Lunch. Great selection of healthy light fares and delicious entrees and desserts in a pleasant atmosphere. Very attentive staff especially Michelle, who not only served our table of 5 efficiently but pleasantly as well.

This is a very nice department store lunchroom with large windows and a dome. Of course, the cup of chicken broth and popover with strawberry butter is a tradition and one I have enjoyed for many years. Our lunch was delicious and our server was very attentive.

We had a nice dining experience. The large windows and skylight create a nice atmosphere even if you are overlooking the parking lot. The waitstaff was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the complimentary broth, popovers with strawberry butter and the chocolate mints at the end. The entrees were a big portion. Our party had the crab cakes with a salad, the 1/2 soup and 1/2 sandwich option and the turkey sandwich which came with salad and fruit. The only negative would be the outdoor iron chairs. They were not really comfortable and they were very heavy to move in and out and they made a screeching noise when pulling them in and out. We would come back. This is a nice quiet spot in an otherwise crazy and noisy mall.

Great food and relaxed dinning.

We actually didn't stay to eat. A beautiful setting, but apparently no liquor license. We were looking forward to a glass of wine with our salads, so we left and went to legal seafoods instead. We did find out you can BYOB after we got there, but who is going to walk
Through a mall to fund your car to drive to a liquor store just to have lunch?

I usually get the salmon salad but this time I got the vegetarian kale and farro salad and it was the best version I've had of this popular dish. The popover and strawberry butter that come with every meal are as delicious as they sound. I look forward to having one every time I come to the restaurant. I also think the wait staff is exceptional- warm, attentive but not overbearing, and they let you sit as long as you wish.

Great place to meet friends and have a wonderful lunch. Food and service is always good. The location is nice, too, as I usually do a little shopping after lunch.

I have eaten here several times. The food is always delicious, the service is attentive, and the ambiance is very relaxing. A great respite from the craziness of Garden State Plaza!

This is a wonderful place for lunch. Salads and sandwiches are awesome. The tiny cups of chicken consume and puff pastries are great starters that are brought out before the meal. Pleasant smiles, kind and friendly attitudes from the hostess to all the servers, beautiful decor and ambience, and delicious food make this place worth your time. Linda is the best server by the way, so professional, attentive, and friendly. Prices are not cheap, but worth it. The food is good quality, fresh ingredients, and very tasty. Plus, this place is nice and quiet. This hidden gem is my goto place for brunch or lunch. Thanks Rotunda. You guys are awesome!

Lovely place for lunch! Solicitous service, delicious food, very pleasant surroundings. Really one of the best places locally for lunch!!

We had a very nice time even with the polite but inept service. Our entrees were given to the wrong people with the wrong toppings on each ( a double error in one shot). Having to ask for more popovers and butter 3 times became frustrating.

my shrimp salad consisted of four dried small shrimp. salad itself was good. would not go again for that price.

I was looking forward to lunch here as it has been a number of years since I ate at the restaurant. The menu is more than adequate and service was good. I particularly like the fact that calories are indicated after each dish. I had hoped to eat outside on the new patio but my companion felt it was too muggy outside. Maybe in the fall!

How could you not love a lunch that begins with a tiny cup of bouillon and a hot popover with strawberry butter. The salads are inventive, pristine fresh and deliciously dressed. The burgers are really good and served with crispy fries. The crab cakes, salmon, shrimp and all the other menu items are well prepared with fine ingredients. Our favorite server, Michelle, is a joy. She is professionally friendly and always has a smile.
Only thing that doesn't work here is their OPEN TABLE RESERVATION SYSTEM. Very frustrating as we eat there several times a week and can'mae a reservation!

My very favorite place for lunch. The cup of bouillon the hot popovers w/strawberry butter--where else does a meal begin like that/ Their menu isn't long but you can get all kinds of salads, a great burger, delicious crab cakes, shrimp, shrimp salad, chicken salad.....all very fresh and delicious. They have a selection of soups, sandwiches, and a children's menu. Desserts are okay but the lava cake is really delicious. Tables are large enough to hold all the plates and glasses they put on them. Occasionally there is a fashion show....after all, this Is Nieman Marcus!!
