The Saddle Room
5 guys out for dinner... Bartender though didn’t get his name was fantastic. We spent more time in the bar than anticipated and they held table and didn’t rush us to sit down.
Great atmosphere as always and the service was great.
Three in the group had steak and said it was perfect.
I had a flatbread and it was good though a little dry compared to other times but still good flavor.
Great evening out with the guys!
A mojito was $13!?...the lobster bisque was just okay, my duck dinner had brussel sprouts cold and meat room temperature! Not impressed with food or drink...the service however was wonderful and atmosphere unique.
It was our first time there with another couple. We arrived 45 minutes early for our reservation and the hostess sat us by the fire and we relaxed on the sofas. The food, ambience and staff were superb! Highly recommend.
Great place with amazing food. Just be careful there isn't a children's event next store! Place was flooded with kids whose parents could not have cared less about them running and screaming all over the restaurant. Normally a GREAT place!
We had to wait a long time to be serve. The food also took a long time and when we finally got our food, the soups, appetizers and main meals were served at the same time.
The food was excellent.Simply awesome. But the service is too fast and sometime is not time to put the order.Wine by glass is pricy.
But the fairplace was on,good drinks and kitchen did great job.We will come back.
Went for New Year's Eve dinner. Food was excellent and service was solid given the busy night.
We have been here a couple of times and the food and service are always excellent.
The Saddle Room has the best atmosphere and most carefully prepared food around. A table by the fire is just what was needed this New Year's Eve. Love the custom cocktails too!
The Saddle Room was the perfect Pre-New Year's Eve dinner venue. My family and I enjoyed some great food and ambiance to kick off 2020 in style!
Celebrating engagement on Saturday night with family of ten; the service was simply outstanding!
The food perfect; martinis are the best in the area-ability to place bets added to fun atmosphere! Our go-to place for celebrations for all of these reasons- Highly recommended!!!
Dining room is VERY DARK. Many people used cell phone flashlights to see menu.
Too dark to read menus. Felt like they didn't know what true vision of restaurant was translated to drink and food. Gambling place? Sports bar and fire place? 1800s Western? Apple dessert was not good, crust tasted like flannel. No hostess working to seat us. Wife and I felt a bit sick after eating. Main courses over priced for quality and quantity. Sort of hard to find with top lights not working outside all around. Service was good. We got a taster before the meal which was good. Overall not worth returning unfortunately.
This is a must experience for any foodie or even if you aren't. Just do it!!!
Lovely atmosphere, drinks were excellent. Took a long time to get our food but it was Christmas Eve so I didn’t have high expectations. Chicken and waffles was good, the rest was just OK. Looks like they have a nice outdoor patio for the summer dining and fireplace inside was cozy. We will give them another try on a non holiday night.
Food is delicious, but you pay for that... Our meal took 2 hours to complete but it was Christmas Eve so they were a bit busy. There were little things that could be better given the price point, but again I'm hesitant to judge for to the holiday. We'll be back for a special occasion meal.
I know it was Christmas Eve but they were very understaffed. Service was very slow. The grilled Cesar was absolutely delicious but the tuna tartare was very disappointing. I order that dish frequently at restaurants and I’ve never had so little tuna. There was something in the middle. Cream cheese or something? And they basically coated that with a thin layer of tuna.
We went to have a nice dinner and celebrate Christmas Eve. Our waitress went to work with a chip on her shoulder. Not a good combination. To be fair, she is serving some very bizarre dishes that do not come with basic things people expect (lemon with calamari, etc.) but she sighed and clicked and "humphed" every time we asked her for something. And took a very long time to bring out those basics. Now the food - I was charged $40 for a tough, grizzly filet (asked for the glaze on the side but it ended up on the filet; something with 409 sauce). The waitress said it came with mashed potatoes but actually it came with THE smallest yellow potatoes you have every seen - microscopic!! Used to prop up the filet. She actually apologized and offered mashed potatoes at no charge. I accepted. She brought out a BOAT of mashed potatoes and charged us $9 for it. The worst was my son - he didn't care for anything on their limited menu and asked for the kid's pasta. They said no, as he is 15, not 12. He had to order a pasta meal at $18+ and ask that they hold everything but the pasta and substitute marinara sauce. They brought him a huge bowl that was 3/4 empty. 1/4 had noodles in it. And then a cup of sauce. It was like they left empty spots for the items he did not want as punishment. My other son's meal came late (removed from the bill, thank you). Fried chicken on top of a black, burned-to-a-crisp waffle. Apparently the chicken tasted so bad he tried eating the waffle! Thank goodness Popeyes is open on Christmas Eve. My husband did like his Jambalaya, but it was a very small portion for the price. I hate leaving bad reviews these days, while restaurants and businesses struggle to stay afloat. But what I hate more is being absolutely robbed, and not even treated decently while it's happening!
Great place and when the weather is warm enough they have an outstanding patio.
Food and drinks were excellent. Server was great. Atmosphere was relaxing. I had the salmon and thought there should have been more than a few asparagus on the plate.
The host Darren is the best greeter.
Waitress was a bit slow to start then all
Sat at the bar and ordered 2 drinks and 2 appetizers. The female bartender didn't care too much about our dining experience as she was not at all personable. She did however change her tune and pretended some pleasantries when the check arrived since it was tip time. I perused the bill and noticed she charged us for an extra sauce for the calamari and a scoop of hummus in exchange for a scoop that was not appealing and returned to the kitchen. I do not appreciate being nickeled and dimed when I am already paying a premium for food and drinks at an establishment. Sadly I won't be back to this place again. Lastly, the men's bathroom was filthy dirty.
Vegetables were very salty, both in the Triple Meatloaf and in the Warren Bacon Chop. But, otherwise, the food was excellent. A couple of kids running around the fire pit area diminished the ambiance this visit, but that's poor parenting and not the restairant's fault.
We love the Saddle Room, for a date night or even with our kids! The service is outstanding, food is always amazing and we love the music along with the roaring, 4 sided fireplace with lounge seating around it. Even going to the bathroom is fun!
Week night date for husband and me. Had a lovely table by the big roaring fire, the smell and ambiance was delightful.
My build your own burger was excellent with all the things I like on it. My husband had the scallops pasta dish and thought it was good. Only two scallops though.
My glass of wine and his drink were good and enjoyable.
Our server was attentive.
The Sunday brunch was very disappointing..the prime rib was raw, the other selections were very poor. Bacon burnt, and one choice of eggs. Glad it was only $25.00 not worth it..
I really enjoyed The Saddle Room. I live about 20 minutes away but was with a business colleague that was staying at a hotel nearby that really enjoys a good streak. I wanted something that I hadn’t been to either. This was spot on, good drinks and a generally quiet atmosphere the night we were there. It could be loud from the layout but not over bearing. The outside area looked great but being Dec it was closed. I will definitely be back
I would recommend The Saddle Room with a bit of reluctance as every time I have been there it is always really smoky from the fireplaces. It is like the ventilation is off so when you leave your clothes smell like smoke then they open doors and it gets really cold in there. The food was fine, not great. The saving grace are the people- the hostess was fabulous and very nice, our server was funny, engaging and in lock step with the absurdity of all the smoke there. I cannot fault, nor would I ever, the servers and host staff for poor ventilation.
Watch the mixed drinks they are very strong compared to most places
Very nice evening. Great service. Food was prepared perfectly and enjoyed unique flavors in the dishes. Only minor comment it's really dark in there. Im a lover of ambiance, but it was sooo dark at the table. Unable to see the menu without turning on cell phone flashlight.
Had a wonderful experience this weekend at The Saddle Room! Service, food, drinks, ambiance and management were impeccable. My favorites were the tuna tartare and pastrami smoked salmon. The fire pit was a plus!
We sat in the bar area and had the sliders. Even with a time crunch the server got us out in a timely matter. Food and drinks were on point. We just had to flag our server down once. This is a must go if you are in town.
