   Went there for dinner after the opera. Seemed a bit chaotic at the hostess station even though we had a reservation. Wine was served in a small glass which was odd. Food was good. A bit loud inside and out.

   This restaurant has a very convenient location if you’re attending an event at Lincoln Center. The staff was helpful and friendly and the food was decent. The noise level, however, was unacceptably loud.

   Food drinks and service were all great. Noise level was over the top loud on a busy Sunday brunch shift, we could not hear our own conversation over the din of the other diners. Please add some sound dampeners.

    Noise level is very high. Inside, the tiled walls create reverberations that amplify the sound. Outside, a musician with an amplifier was sitting on the side playing music loudly which, combined with close-in tables, made conversation almost impossible.

    Restaurant is across the street from Lincoln Ctr. It is very attuned to helping patrons get to their shows on time. Service was very prompt, while never making us feel rushed.

    I knew I was taking a chance but …. Showed up early for my reservation and wasn’t seated until about 10 minutes after the reservation time. There was a wait just to get to the desk to be told to wait. I’d requested a table in the back room because I knew this place was loud. Didn’t get it. The noise level is deafening so conversation has to be shouted. Service was cordial but we waited longer than I’d’ve liked for our orders. Food was good. Ordered coffee and the check together because we had a curtain to catch. Nothing was bussed. When the check and coffee came, nothing was bussed. All of our dirty dishes remained as long as we did. I won’t be going back here and am mystified by the appeal this place seems to hold for people.

    Had a pre-theater dinner here with the family - husband, 2 young adult daughters and me. Service was very friendly but a little slow, and we weren’t seated for our 5:30 reservation until 6:00. It was a busy Saturday evening though, so I guess it’s understandable. We unanimously found the food delicious. Beef came as-ordered (medium rare), all the entrees arrived at the same time, the portions were reasonable, as are the prices. Would definitely go back.

    The food was just right for a light early dinner. The service couldn’t be nicer. We ate outside, so there was less noise than inside. It was in a perfect location near the Metropolitan Opera House.

    Stay away from the salads -- way overdressed and soggy. Veggie burger was a total disappointment. Shrimp pasta was the most edible thing at our table. Service was good but food was so disappointing.

    The location can't be beat if you're seeing something at Lincoln Center. There are plenty of small plate options if you want something light and/or to share. However, the noise level is painful. I kept having to ask my friend to repeat what she said. I get that restaurants make more money by turning the tables, but why go out if you can't enjoy a conversation with your party?

    The food was OK, a little bland. Our wine arrived after our food. Service seemed to be chaotic. Never received any bread. Restaurant was very busy, but I've been here before on an equally busy day, and I had a better experience.

    Seemed like maybe 2/3 were locals, good sign. Great people watching, gorgeous weather and the dining room wall to the sidewalk was open. Food was tasty, rich side.
