   We were put in the back room. Long waits between very small dishes. This wasn’t a great dinner yet we walked away with close to $100 per person.

   Had a great time at Ten Bells! Threw a party for my fiance's 30th birthday in the back room with about 20 guests! The room was cute, atmosphere perfect and we enjoyed great service from Fernando. He was knowledgable and helpful with wine choices and attentive throughout the night bringing us fresh glasses and lots of water! would def recommend for small gathering of people who love natural wine :)

   We had a lovely dinner at The Ten Bells. We were a large group and they accommodated us at a long table. The food was uniformly delicious and the service was attentive. Will definitely come back!

    The happy hour specials are great. We then ordered a ton more of food and I was shocked by how inexpensive it was. The staff is wonderful and helpful. If you get a chance defenitly try this place.

    Great food and a cozy atmosphere. The bar was packed but The dining area was pretty nice. The quality of food was very good and the price of both food and wine was very reasonable. The service was a little slow, but other than that: I’d go back!

    Unique place with an eclectic vibe, old world charm, new world spirit and delicious foods that range from the freshest oysters on the half shell to sumptuous tapas to a wine list that will satisfy any palate. Excellent, knowledgeable, and attentive service and perfect location.

    Very pleasant locale, a winebar with an interesting selection of wines emphasizing Spanish (no liquor), tapas and oysters with a happy hour deal of $1 oysters. Unfortunately on our visit they had only of the three kinds of oysters that they usually offer. Tapas were creative and excellently executed. All reasonably priced. Very pleasant staff.

    Wonderful wine bar with both great wine and fantastic tapas! The octopus and the steak tartare are among my favorites. Super knowledgeable and helpful staff.

    We had a party of ten for a birthday celebration and they gave us the beautiful back room to ourselves. The atmosphere was intimate, the service was friendly and timely, and the food/drink was delicious. The salmon tartare, the crab meat and avocado, the croquettes, and the shrimp nachos were our favorites from the night. Would definitely recommend for large groups. So fun!

    The Happy Hour was great. The location was accessible to my friends for a get-together. The ambiance had a nice old-world feel to it, but a tad dark. The waiter forgot our dessert until we reminded him, but up until that point, service was good and prompt. The long table could have been "partitioned" better so that we were not too close to the next group. The food was delicious. Overall, I gave it 4 stars for the reasons stated above. I will go back again.

    My husband and I, though older than most of the Lower East Siders that frequent The Ten Bells, love this place. The tapas are fantastic, and the wine selection is splendid. The atmosphere is perfectly comfortable and cozy, like your favorite bar, the service is friendly and relaxed. Recommend the chorizo and the raclette on bread with pear! To boot, the place is a great value.

    Really good service with a good French style service ! We order some wine which was not cold like we like, so the server offers us a first glass of white wine. So good wine ! Food was good. Good recommandation about the burrata with honey for our dessert. Chocolate moelleux was amazing too. Really good diner there, we will come back ;)

    We reserved last minute for our party of 6 and the perfect cozy table was ready and waiting for us in the back. It's louder and more crowded in the front area so I was nervous about how comfortable we were going to be. Apparently there was no need to be! The back area for larger parties was cozy and quieter--the perfect place to catch up with friends on a rainy night. The service was great too! Our waiter was very accommodating with all of our varying preferences for wine and food and helpful. All in a all, a fantastic night!

    This is my all time favorite spot for a chill yet hip vibe, in which you don't sacrifice quality of food or quality of wine. I don't know what it is, but this place keeps drawing me back for whenever I need that perfect downtown wine bar experience, without the snobbery.

    My entire party of 10 people was late by 30-40 minutes (some even later) which is often the breaking point for any restaurant! I received nothing but kindness and patience from Ten Bells though. The service was impeccable in this regard.

    Food and ambience was really good. We ordered a Rose but the description on the wine menu didn't mention that it had orange. It wasn't bad, but was very unexpected, so one of the couples with me didn't like it.

    Super fun, casual venue with an awesome selection of natural wines and good tapas style food. I love the peppers stuffed with tuna! The place can get quite loud, so one should realize that the vibe is more of a bar than a restaurant.

    The wine we had was wonderful, a suggestion from the server. The food was quite good. Our first and last interactions with the staff were disappointing. Checking in for the reservation was confusing - no clear person to speak with, servers and bartenders all rushing by, no one asking us if we needed help for several minutes. When I got the attention of the bartender he seemed slightly annoyed and curt. Our server during the meal was fine, not particularly warm or inviting, but not rude. Leaving at the end of the meal, less than 90 minutes after we arrived, a different server asked us to leave as she needed to seat a large party where we were located. Granted she may have been seeing if she could move us elsewhere. I had been looking forward to Tell Bells for a while, as I work in restaurants and with natural wine but the service won't have me rushing back.
