We had a lovely dinner. Neither of us were very hungry but we decided to split the clam appetizer, an octopus dinner special, and the pot de creme. Our server gave us the recommendations and he was timely in taking the order/delivering the food. We are here on vacation so we wanted a few photos and the bartender went out of her way to help us find a cute spot. Overall, we loved everything about our dinner and experience here!
Melissa was an excellent server. She provided suggestions, was very knowledgeable about menu and was very gracious. The view and experience was exceptional. This is certainly a hidden gem.
What a wonderful gem along the bay. It was a beautiful evening to be out on the patio (with the heaters on!). Cocktails were great and food was impressive. Our server was knowledgeable about the food and he was never “too much”
Excellent service, delicious food...best smoked octopus I ever had!! Ambiance was nice. Overall great experience. Highly recommend for date night and bring a jacket for patio dining.
We were incredibly disappointed with the food. The food selections were very limited and very different. I think it was incredibly overpriced for what we got.

We had the best seat in the restaurant. Perfect view of the beach. The temperature was just right with the heat lamps on the outside patio.

High quality food and ingredients. Very generous portions for a fancy restaurant. Chef is from Guam and all dishes reflect this influence. Service was fast and very attentive. The restaurant is small with only maybe ten tables not including a covered patio overlooking the bay.

The food was OK, service was VERY GOOD.
Nobody at the table was amazed with their dish.
We all thought it was way overpriced.
Very beautiful place, good food and good service.
Lovely Thanksgiving buffet. Lots of wonderful choices. Due to the rain and chilly winds all seating was indoors. I had booked outside for us and our small dog and the restaurant very nicely let us keep the rez as I assured them our dog was quiet and well behaved....and he was!

Food was great but what really stood out was the service. Our server Julia was INCREDIBLE. Service with an enormous smile the whole time and on Thanksgiving day no less. The rest of the staff were also incredible. The food was great, loved the stuffing, crab legs, smores.....

Thanksgiving brunch was $75/pp and not enough selections however items there tasty
Always a true culinary adventure. We have ordered the "Chef's Tasting" on the last two visits. The Chef Andrew Reyes is incredibly talented and creates magnificent meals. The Four course Chef's Tasting is definitely worth the price tag. The view from the patio is beautiful and a great place to watch the sunset. The service has always been excellent. Highly recommended.
Fantastic, deliciouse, coming certainly back
There were only 2 other tables in the restaurant at the time and it still took over 5 minutes to be greeted. The food was very overpriced and poorly prepared. My girlfriends scallops had arguably the worst texture we have experienced with scallops and my steak had no flavor. Given the amount of money we paid, we could have had 5 similar meals with better quality at an Applebees
Overpriced, fair quality, not the "high-end" experience you think of when you see $$$$. PS: not easy to find, dark road & parking lot
It was the perfect setting for our anniversary dinner. We were seated right on the edge of the outdoor seating, mere steps from the water's edge. We were able to see the sun set over the bay as we ate our dinner.
The service was snappy and spot-on. The food was delicious.
Rachel took great care of us - she was cheerful, professional, made great recommendations about the menu, checked on us often, and never missed a beat. Bravo!
Great surprise to find CHamoru food in San Diego on property at the hotel i was staying at. The scallops were divine as was the clams kadun pika
No reservations necessary as Tidal’s buzz has definitely worn off. Sometimes the venue is closed for special events though. But still a creative menu and outstanding bay views. Cocktails are nearly the same price as brunch entrees. Total bill was $96 plus tip for a couple. Two cocktails each.
Parking is ample and free but spaces are skinny. Have to park in the back 40 to avoid door dings.
It was noisy, but in their defense, we were seated next to a party (Birthday) of about 12 - 10 year olds. They did say that we had gotten the wrong menus. Which was kind of a bummer. Oh, there were possibly more options. Well now we are in time crunch and don't have time to check out other options. You kind of feel gypped. But I had the Kahlua pork and cabbage with Garlic Fried Rice. I think everything came with Garlic Fried Rice. And it is VERY garlicky. But also super yummy! The sourdough toast came with some super yummy guava jam.
Just would have liked some pico de galo salsa. None to be found.
Good food, beautiful view, service was less than par. Not very kid-friendly.
The service was outstanding hands down. Our charcuterie board was exciting, because so far the food at Paradise was kind of a let down. The main coarse was super salty, and we felt tired of being negative about the food and drinks from different spots on the facilities. We were excited that it was better. Seems like the kitchen just needs a little tightening up, and re-examine. Please, rescue the bar program everywhere, it needs help. The service was outstanding, and genuine. It was almost like the staff knew drinks or food weren’t good and couldn’t do anything about it, so I hope that changes. Guests need to get what they are paying for.
Booked this spot for my birthday. Food selection was hard for all my party. Kids didn’t like most of it. Adults too were picky. Food was ok not great. Starter bread rolls were crusty and dry. I ordered the tomokawk steak $110 for my 12 yr old son. Pricey & nothing special. Drinks and ambiance was great. Great noise level for kids. We sat outdoor and it was nice. Sister ordered scallops - only 3 medium size for $40 not worth it. Lobster - flavor was great but not worth the cost. Duck appetizer was too fried, hard and greasy. Recommend only for drinks & Clams appetizer or Steak special was amazing .
Our reservation was honored and we were seated at the time and place requested on reservation. 1st impression was that staff was very helpful and friendly;which continued throughout the dinner. Andrew, our waiter was excellent- he knew the menu well and was able to explain the different options. We ordered the Foraged Mushrooms- sadly we had to send them back be cause they were inedible salty. Andrew was apologetic, and took the order off our bill without hesitation.
To our happy surprise, the reminder of our order, salmon and scallop dishes, were perfect. My companion and I both were satisfied with the amount of food as well as the delicious taste.
We were a bit put off by the people traffic and noise-, the resort was full, and noisy. We might have just picked the wrong weekend to go. Our comment was that if we are spending that much on dinner, we have the expectation that the venue would be quieter and more peaceful. With that said, we would recommend to friend who want to try something new and different.
Melissa was our server and she was so nice and respectful. Always checked in on us. We were a party of seven. We had the steamed halibut ( so good), salmon was also delicious. The filet mignon special served with purple yam was unique. We also had desserts. The green tea panna cotta and cheesecake were also refreshing and lite.
Although the food and atmosphere is nice, we were disappointed that there were no linens on the table. When you spend over $150 you would expect table linens. Also, it is very touristy with a lot of children eating on the patio. We were there for my birthday, hoping for a romantic evening as specified in the reservation, and it took away from the experience. Also, we ordered the Hawaiian rolls with Citrus butter and jam and they appeared to come from the King's Hawaiian package that you buy at the grocery store. Given the price of $4.50 for three rolls I expected a little more. I also don't like paying for bread with dinner when I'm paying thirty-five to fifty dollars for my entree. Overall, I found the food tasty but rather expensive. Our appetizer of octopus featured 2 tentacles for $21. The Caesar salad was $17. As I mentioned earlier, it was my birthday but rather than being offered a choice of desert we were brought a small brownie with whipped cream again not what I expect for this caliber of restaurant. Lastly, on Wednesday they advertise half-price wine night, however it was only a choice of one red or one white wine for half price you are not given the choice of the entire wine list.
Our table of 8 sat on the deck & enjoyed a delicious dinner with the most picturesque backdrop. Sending a huge thank you to our server, Rachel for being extra amazing & fun-yes we would recommend!
While expensive this restaurant has a beautiful setting. The food was exceptional. I had the grilled octopus for an appetizer and it was the best I had ever eaten. Dinner selections are varied enough to please anyone and they were very accommodating with my gluten and dairy free preferences. Daniel our server was outstanding.
